Myself and a friend stayed here in July 2018. We had a twin room which was comfortable and very clean and had use of lots of shared amenities like kitchen and indoor and outdoor areas to relax and unwind. The hosts, Claudia and Marius were very friendly and welcoming and had lots of local knowledge to assist us in our stay. They offer local cuisine at breakfast and also the option of evening meals which I would totally recommend. I am vegetarian and had struggled a bit in Romania with limited options but they provided lovely, fresh and local dishes and also some extra tasters.
We stay on May 14, 2018, room 1, floor 1. - Unbearable smell in the bathroom, an old problem reported by other tourists. The washbasin is small, it is impossible for water to not flow down. - The room is small, the space between the bed and wall is very narrow and there is a 20 cm pipe coming out of the floor in which you prevent. There is no wardrobe. - Breakfast included in the room price (145 RON in extra season) which is a joke being extremely poor. I suggest to the hosts to go to the Black Sea hotel in Mamaia (where we stayed on May 15, 2018 with 130 RON, breakfast included) to see what a decent breakfast can be. - At ground floor there is a pub where the villagers come to drink. - There is no private parking, parking is on the street (not safe). + There is a beautiful common living room for 3 rooms. + It has air conditioning.…
Real friendly and sincere hosts! They were the perfect hosts and made our stay comfortable and cosy. Nice rooms with an unique location on the beautiful country side of Romania near the sea, but the best part is the diner (and also amazing deserts) they serve, on their terrace. We recommend you not to skip it, it was great food. Definitely recommend this place.
Very nice hosts, we stayed there in September for my birthday. They are very kind, provide a lot of info about the area (from history to geography and many more) and they also give great recommendations for activities (even help to talk to somebody that organizes trips to the Danube Delta). Rooms are very comfortable, the dishes are very delicious and mainly relate to locally specific food (e.g. fish stew) so don't expect french fries and burgers. They are the exact kind of hosts you would expect to find in a place filled with so much of nature's beauties and it's very nice that they promote product from local small producers (like honey, natural soap and wine from a local producer).
charming, friendly hosts. They offered at very good price to cook for their guests a 3 course meal with unlimited drinks. The food was brilliant, local with many good wines and typical welcome drinks. The host circulated during the evening and did their best to get to know their guests and give them as much information as possible. It was a shame the weather wasn't good enough to make the most of the area
