Detailed Reviews
Had a great time here. Villa was very spacious with good air con that was needed. Pool was lovely. Staff were very friendly, we had a late flight and they let us stay in the villa all day on our last day, which was a nice touch.
Main things to do are in Kolymbari which is a 25 minute walk. However, also some restaurants and supermarkets closer by if you don't fancy the walk.
It's not party central but more than fine if you want a nice relaxing break. Nice and peaceful and highly recommended.
(also I'm not sure a few of the reviews for these villas are actually referring to these villas. Especially the one reviewing a hotel as these are self-catering villas!)

+1
Beautiful Villa, so much better than we imagined for what we paid for it. There were four of us but would sleep more.
3 bedrooms, 1 upstairs with 2 balcony's and en-suit shower room and 2 lower ground floor large double bedrooms with shower/WC.
Large kitchen with full utilities and large lounge with big TV, every room was fully air conditioned.
Outside:
Large pool and pool table, also table tennis table. BBQ and large seating area seating up to 10 people. 6 large sun loungers.
Simply could not fault it in any way shape or form. Beautiful.
One advisory: Car is a neccesity.

Very nice, well kept villas in a beatiful surroundings.
Best possible service from all the staff.
The owner herself is very friendly and makes sure that you have a good stay. The girls who cleans the house does a very good job, the receptionists are very professional but last but not least i have to mention the gardener who takes care of the houses and the gardens and the pools - he is so nice and keep asking if we need anything and even comes with fresh fruits.

Villa basic but good, 3 bed, 2 bathrooms good sized pool. To us, a car is necessary as not much walkable, but bikes are available. Really comfy beds - a real pro in Greece!
Kitchen OK, having oven, hob, microwave etc but could do with another pan, microwave friendly dishes and a casserole pot for the oven for those who like me enjoy cooking.
Pool towels not provided, but you can rent them from for 2 eoros each. Very little shade outside as the sun comes around after late morning, only an umbrella next to the pool.
Main point if booking with Thomsons - the rep had no driving instructions to get us there! Never happened to us before, we were made to feel it was our fault for not finding instructions before arriving. She drew an arrow onto one of those cartoon style maps they have and then disapeared, charming. Fortunately a lady at the Enterprise car hire place was much more helpful and we found it OK.
So if you are going, head towards Souda from the Airport, to avoid driving through the middle of Chania and from there take the National Road towards Kissamos. Leave the national road at Platanias and join the Old Road. Go along with the sea to your right through two villages, then look out for Selini Suites an Aparthotel place on the right to collect your key and they will direct to the villa. If you pass a blue topped white church on the left, do a U turn, just missed it.

Positives were, very clean, pool area great, no reserving sun beds.
Negatives, staff attitude need training and to smile.
Food, very limited and poor quality little or no thought to breakfast, and although I eat meat very little for vegetarians. Repetitive boring hospital canteen food
Staff. Although friendly no where near enough of them. One person on a busy bar means queues and you have to keep the same glass all night as no one to collect or clean them.
Drinks. Worst all inclusive drinks ever, little or no alcohol in them limited to two cocktail choices per day or pay 5 euros if you want a different choice, we ended up walking up the road to a bar to get a decent drink.
Beach. Unloved pebbly beach huge drop off at the waters edge, very rough seas as windy red flags out daily no one went there
Manager. Complained to manager who was not interested and said I was entitled to my opinion.
well I paid over £1600 for a week there and vote with my feet. Never going back and would not recommend it to anyone else

What a great place, we really enjoyed our week in this super villa in beautiful surroundings. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you need. The bonus is Vassily the Gardener and handyman who is an absolute gem bringing gifts of freshly picked fruits and nuts every day with a welcoming smile. Would definitely come back to this place. We had a hire car and were glad off this but if you like cycling there are bikes available. Nothing was too much trouble for the Selini staff. Loved it.

Large villa, very clean and well maintained. Easy to find once collected keys from Selini Suites just up the road. Welcomed with complimentary bottle of wine and fresh fruit. Had read about friendly helpful gardener/handyman - he was an absolute joy. We found out he's from Albania and his daughter is one of the cleaners. He would bring us fresh figs and found water polo ball for us to use in the pool. He's always smiling and helped us when our A/C needed bit of attention - he rang the linked Selini Suites and got the repair man to us within an hour. This was our first visit to Crete and we are very pleased to pick this area. Saw lots of local traditional life. You must have hire car to get around but would recommend you take bus into Chania. Parking in Chania is not easy and the bus is cheap and convenient. The bus stop is just few yards down the lane on main road by the blue church. Chania is absolutely beautiful and a must if you stay here. Washing machine very useful with airer on balcony with pegs. Dishwasher came with tabs. Glad I took my own hairdryer as one provided did not work well. Don't bother taking your own iron as one provided with ironing board worked well. No mirrors in bedrooms so take you own - easier for drying hair etc is someone using bathroom.

We have just stayed here for a week and cannot fault these villas.
Well maintained gardens and pool cleaned daily. Gardener always has a smile on his face and brings fresh fruit from the gardens.
Cleaners also very friendly and welcoming.
Shops and restaurants all within walking distance but recommend hiring a car to see more of the island.
Also only 45 mins from Chania airport by car.
You collect the keys from the Selini Hotel just up the road.
If you want privacy and some peaceful time to relax then these villas are highly recommended.
Thank you for helping to make our holiday most enjoyable.

It was free and speedy when we visited.
Yes, plenty of restaurants in Kolymbari, 20 to 30 minute walk depending on which one you got to. But also a handful closer, one only 5 mins away.
Same for supermarkets, bigest one in Kolymbari 25 minute walk. But another decent sized one about 15 mins away and a smaller one about 10 minute walk away that had everything you could need. So you'll be fine for food and provisions.
