Arrived back from 8 days in July 2024. Firstly after arriving very early hours, we had a plesent welcoming, with the receptions explaining everything and personally showing us to our rooms and offering to carry our bags. All reception staff were plesent and helpful. For the hotel itself - Our room that was located in the block at the back was very nice, room were cleans, nice decor, beds were super comfy and ample of storage. We were shocked to have a separate bath and shower. Facilities such as the pools, splash park and water slides are very good and kept us entertained though the steps to the water slides are slippy and probably could do with some TLC. Pool is kept very clean and is plenty big enough. All Inc food - for the first few days we were pleased but then found it very repetitive but it is your standard All Inc buffet food, not awful but not great. Snack bar is the best we've experience with the choices you can get from chip, pork gyros, nuggets, wraps, sandwiches, pasta and cakes. Bar - downfall is the limit on which drinks you can get a set times, no vodka etc until 1pm and no cocktails until 6pm. The drinks aren't bad and measurements are generous, bar staff are good but always seem to only have 1 person on the bar which made wait times to get a drink painful. Entertainment was good with plenty of activities and evening shows, though the timetable is the same each week - the live shows such as ABBA and the Arcobatics are excellent and the animation teams efforts were great however sadly they are stretched and this showed with us highlighting how much they work with little resources. We personally enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we went with an open mind and the idea of a standard 3 star hotel and it is what we experienced. The biggest downside to this hotel in the location, it is miles away from anything busy, to get out there is a bus stop right outside the top side of the hotel but it is a good 20 minutes to Platanias and 45 to Chaina though it is reasonably priced. Small unspoilt pebbled beach only 5 minute walk that does have a beach bar which is friendly and well priced. Our overall experience was good and we enjoyed a nice relaxing break here in a hotel that kept my 9 year old happy. This is a honest and fair review of the hotel - a holiday is what you make it!

Just got home in the early hours of this morning after a fantastic holiday Personally I do not understand the really negative reviews , I guess some people are just nit picky The resort was just as expected a lovely splash pool for young children and the bigger slides for older ones and adults The entertainment side was excellent and exceeded my expectations , the Greek night was amazing And as for Matt Turna who was doing all the children entertainment , face painting and kiddies evening disco all by himself was fantastic with the children. Aswell as doing most of the day time and evening entertainment , This guy absolutely one hundred percent made our holiday fantastic It was such a shame that Chloe from London who left a review on the 11th of May with a complete pack of lies has tried to bring both the resort and Matt down . a drunken female doing shots all day whilst in charge of a poor 2 year old child leaving glass and fag ends in the children’s pool area has no place at a family oriented resort .Thank god the hotel manager removed this vile human being and her friend from the park promptly as they ruined an evening for all by abusing and assaulting Matt In front of children , its women like her that make me ashamed to be British . The drinks were of decent quality , the food was good quality and varied there was always something to choose whatever your food tastes maybe . Only down side was catering for such a vast volume of people the food was warm rather than hot . The life guards were doing a great job and were very conscious at keeping the pool rides safe , There were bugs and insects at the resort mainly ants but it’s too be expected same as we get them in summer back in the uk. Only real negatives was our very basic accommodation, that had very little hanging spaces for clothes and no chests of drawers especially in the upper bedroom of our maisonette, we practically had to live out of the suitcases as there was no where to put any thing. Would massively benefit from a full length wardrobe and bedside cabinets with draws Also cleaners need to do better as the the floor never got swept or mopped during our ten day stay

Arrived back today after a pleasant weeks stay with my girlfriend, my 14yr old son and her 15yr old son. I was a little worried leading upto the holiday due to some of the negative reviews so I'll be as honest as I can be. Check in was quick and we were offered some food and drinks before being shown to our Maisonette. The apartment was clean, spacious, great air con and the beds were comfortable so happy with that. Only 2 issues I'd comment on. The 1st being there are no shower screens so the bathroom does get wet especially when 4 of you are getting ready but wasn't a massive problem. The 2nd is that the outside air con units are on the balcony floor instead of being mounted high up which blow hot air out (unless air con is off completely) and made it impossible to sit on the balcony if someone is inside trying to stay cool. Food was ok but very repetitive. Salads, desserts and breakfasts are great but hot meat selection at lunch and dinner is poor. Only 1 or 2 options which is usually pork or chicken and is not the best quality. Lads loved the pizzas. Ice creams are very good as are the sandwiches in the self service fridges. If it falls into your budget id definitely recommend a couple of evenings out to get some proper quality local food. The hotel is in a remote spot so buses or taxis are required. We didn't use buses but the local taxi service which reception use is excellent. Alcoholic drinks are OK but are all served in small plastic beakers so you're constantly back and forth to the bar if you fancy a few. Only usually 1 member of staff on the bar who works his socks off but there's always a queue and he's working so fast half the time you end up with half measures of drink and mixers. Pool area is great. Lads have loved it on the slides. My girlfriend and I spent all of our pool time at the other end of the complex in the small pool which was brilliant. No towel wars, a self service bar with soft drinks, lager and sandwiches and very quiet so if you have older children who don't need as much supervision and you want some peace that's the place to head for. Entertainment isn't the best. Greek night was decent but that was about it. Staff are all friendly, work tirelessly and are helpful and rooms are cleaned and towels changed everyday (except Mondays).
On the whole we had a nice relaxing break but there are areas that I feel due to the amount the holiday cost the management should massively improve. I've been all inclusive for the last 16 yrs with my kids and in comparison to most of the other 3 and 4 star complexes I've stayed in, the food, drinks and entertainment are all of a much lesser quality. Given the option I probably wouldn't return because I think I could get alot better for my money if I shop around.

Thank you to chrispy for an amazing stay at their resort. We arrived on the 16th September 2024, easy check in although I did find the gentleman at reception quite rude, didn’t put out all inclusive bands on just give us them, didn’t help with luggage but never mind, as for all the other staff at reception and staff around the resort was great, very friendly, polite and respectful. Nice water park for the kids and also the adults, not far from Platanias either just a short bus journey down there (€2 per adult one way). Rooms was cleaned every day, everything you needed and if there was something you needed, reception was helpful to help, nicest young lady at reception was so kind and helpful and made you fell very welcome, thank you so much. The all inclusive is pretty good, although we was very fussy so we did eat out a few times as not our kind of food, but plenty to choose from and they always cleaned up after people, we always left our plates stacked and tided up after ourself as that’s how Iv always been taught to leave the table, the chips at the all inclusive need assessing as they wasn’t one portion that was great. Not sure how long they’ve been left or heated up numerous of times but they wasn’t edible in my eyes, nothing will always be perfect these are just my opinions and being as honest as I can (still rate the hotel and received top service) the snack bar was good, pizza and other bits to be had, drinks always available and sandwiches in the fridge which our little boy loved a cheese sandwich at lunch. Not sure what else I can say, I would recommend the hotel to anyone, a holiday is what you make it! Thank you Chrispy for a great family holiday with top service from your staff. Hats off to you. We stayed 5 nights. Excellent resort for the family. The bad reviews have too high expectations. It is good balance of quality vs the price you pay.
It is not a 5 star luxury resort, but for the value its very good. Yes some parts look abit tired, the rooms may need a little more attention for example yes the water faucet moved a little but it was functionable , does the door have some scratches, yes but again it's functionable.
Bad reviews seem to expect a 5 star quality.
Buffet
We could not find anything to complain food was good yes there was a base of food which was the same but you had 2-3 different options per night. More than decent and the quality was good. It may become busy certain times but not the resorts fault, the personnel handle it well.
Pools
Main pool was good nothing to say, we always found deckchairs and shade at all times (fair enough we were not there peak peak.
The Childrens pool and facilities were good also, some little maintenance needed on some parts, maybe repair some minor broken (but made safe parts) but overall again functionable and enjoyable for the young children .
The large slides where well maintained and lifeguards on duty attentive
Location The location is what it is but its actually a nice walk to the pebble beach and around. Also although it is a little far from Chania it actually works to its advantage. Going to Chania you are one of the earlier stop and have a better probability to get on the bus with space The closer we got to Chania the bus was full and we skipped a number of bus spots with numerous people waiting for a bus with space and going back after a couple of stops the bus becomes empty and you can get a seat space :)
General cleanliness was great, constantly cleaned and rubbished picked up.
Spa service was amazing we booked a massage, highly recommended.
Overall the staff were amazing from the entertainment team which tried to encourage everyone to participate to the lady at the snack bar , receptionists . servers and cleaners, you really feel welcome.
Would visit again for sure if going back to Chania!

We went with our children to relax...and we did! Everything is close to the pool area,bar,snack bar. Family hotel,you feel safe, your kids can go to get ice cream or a snack by themselves because you can see them from the pool area,just make sure they aren't bare feet.So many otions in the restaurant in breakfast,lunch dinner!Fresh fruits and vegetables,pizza,pasta,meat,fish,also greek food otions,they should have less,why dear Chrispy you have so many desserts?Such a tempation,I think we gained some weight 😂 Reception ladies,sweathearts,always smiled. They gave us good tips about what see and do in Chania,we also rent a car from the hotel for 2 days and had wonderful day trips! House keepers always smiled to us, I liked that because our children felt good. 4 stars hotel that deserves 5 stars!

It's a 3star basic hotel. Arrived early hours 1.hr 15min transfer Check in wasn't good stood for 20 mins no staff to be seen several families waiting i had to search the grounds for a staff member. Wasnt expecting much but wouldn't return here. Coming here in peak season I'd imagine it to be carnage. Pros and cons as with everywhere whole place is clean, room however smelt damp musky dehumidifier was there when come in bathroom smelt of eggy drains food is OK typical all inclusive the feta salads are lovely. Ice cream good.. Staff nice enough need more ppl on the evening bar 1 person isn't enough ,drinks day & evening are cheap no brands, rola cola fake orange cheap beer on pumps, entertainment 3 times a week rest of time nothing on very boring nothing around the hotel very secluded bus stop outside 15 20 min into centre. Pebble beach 5 mins away Main pool busy waterpark good pool at the top should be cleaned properly green scum water line around tiles being made into adults only 18+ would be good. We tried al a carte restaurant chairs uncomfortable food basic. The mosquitos are crazy bitten to death 30+ bites used spray bands plug ins still happened i travel all over the world never bitten the hotel should spray bushes ect lots of bushes plants about to reduce pests. Cats dogs mooching about don't bother people. The dog who had puppies black and white sheepdog needs worming constantly dragging behind across the tile floor assuming belongs to hotel .....whilst we were eating outside also sits waiting for food at tables.. paid £364 for 4 nights all inclusive it is what it is. Weather lovely.. greece I would return but probably not chania.

We're sorry we could not fully meet your personal expectations. I have to contradict to some of your comments. First of all , you sent us an email asking for evening entertaiment at the hotel on the 17/9/2023 and anwered your question. Secondly, you never came to the reception to complain or request a room change if this wasn't up to your standards. You booked your holidays in Greece.One con in this country is the mosquites , another is the stray animals. There are plenty of animals in the area , that are well fed and locals take care of them the best they can.You cannot remove them from the village , because they were raised here and of course are protected from the animal welfare law. Furthermore, the pool will get cleaned in the evening due to the chemicals and procedure used. PH & CL levels will be reckoned 3x a day. We were a family of 11, 8 adults, 3 children, we had good rooms over looking the pool, and also could see the sea occupying 4 rooms.
Pools were great no issues with sunbeds. We used the snack bar during the day, was OK, food was a good choice, just a shame just warm. They do have an issue, getting plates, cups and cutlery stocked up, you can be waiting. While there we had an issue with clothing going missing, we did report it, they were going to ask the maids but we never herd anymore. Overall it was a nice 10 days, spent with family, would we go back again, I'm afraid not, we found the other side of the island much better.

However, I would like to comment that in a restaurant there are always peak times. Some of the guests get 3 - 5 plates in each turn, which means cleaning takes time. Customer service and friendliness of staff was great and we are very thankful to Iro and the reception staff. Regarding the accomodation; everything was very clean and well organised, clean towels were given everyday and the room service was carried out daily too. The waterpark facilities, were very good, kids loved it, and there was always a lifeguard on duty. Suggestion to future guests; - Bring your own coffee flask, little travel kettle, powdered milk, coffee and tea. - Rent a car for few days (they offer rentals for €40/day) it's well worth it.

I booked this hotel with my family, 3 adults 2 children ages 4 and 2. My son has autism and is 2 years old. The supposed ‘child entertainer’ Matt Turna said he was going to kill my child because he wasn’t dancing along with the rest of the children who were quite clearly older and more understanding. He wasn’t misbehaving, just running around having fun as any child should on holiday. I spoke to who I believe was a manager named Elena we resolved this issue with a conversation and Matt stated that it was a misunderstanding. Moving on from that the entertainment continued, my child then got onto the stage with other children who were also on the stage dancing. Matt then got onto the microphone, pointed out my child and said show is cancelled because of this boy. Child entertainers should know how to entertain a child and especially a child with special needs. The next day we was by the pool a woman approached us and told us we have 30 minutes to be out of the hotel. With 2 children? almost impossible.
Anyway moving on from that, the food was awful probably the worst I’ve ever had in an all inclusive. I understand it’s never going to be amazing as it’s all inclusive but almost everything was inedible, my sister who is pregnant ate an uncooked chicken wing which is extremely dangerous. Chicken never cooked properly, the kids buffet consisted of cold chips with flies all over them, fish fingers and freezing cold hard pasta. The all day snack bar was decent still the food was cold or never any there and the pizza always stale. The drinks are disgusting, soft drinks tasted like chemicals. The kids couldn’t even drink the juice refused to drink anything from the hotel as it was to sour for them. They don’t quench your thirst have 5 cups of juice and your mouth feels worse than it did before you drank it
The staff are extremely rude and unhelpful and as I went to ask for the manager a second time I was told I’m not allowed to speak with them. They was laughing and didn’t really care they just turned their backs and walked off even though they could see my child was distressed about the situation.
I have never had such a bad experience at any hotel I’ve been to in any country. It’s supposed to be a child friendly hotel but nothing friendly about it. So with saying that, I do not recommend this hotel to anybody with children, no lifeguard at the pool just at the top of one of the slides. People are meant to go down the slides one at a time for obvious health and safety reasons. This wasn’t the case here, kids were diving down the big slides one after another and all landing on top of eachother at the bottom. The lifeguard can’t even see the bottom of the slides apart from one of them.
Ants absolutely everywhere!!
Toilet didn’t flush
By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any hotel I’ve been to. Disgusting to say the least.

We hope you are enjoying the rest of your stay and we apologise if we could not fully meet your personal expectations. You comments are inconsistent and don't the state the truth. The truth is that you have treated our team members badly and following your behaviour we were dismissed from the properly. Your agent agreed and didn't make an objection about this situation.Also , you have signed the appropriate form. It was Saturday 11.05 , you were smoking near the kids area and instead of throwing the cigarette stubs in the trash , you threw them on the floor. You were asked kindly to respect the premises and the kids. On the same day , my collegue kindly ask you to take care of your boy because as a 2yo with no supervision it was easy to hurt himself.And the sentence ' I could kill your boy ' came through as a defence because your child didn't follow the moves and was at risk hurting himself because all other children were moving. It might came different because of the languange barrier. I have been informed that the issues were resolved , because you have had a private conversation with Elena and Matt. In the evening you were involved in an arguement with our Matt once again. Guests provided verbal and written feedback saying you were very mean and disturbed his work.
