We stayed here in one of the new chalets in August. The accommodation was really lovely, with excellent air con and bright airy decor. The garden and deck around the chalet were large and spacious too. Our chalet backed on to the road which meant that a market pitched up literally against the back of the chalet, against the Windows which was a bit intrusive. While we were on Elba our son got a bad infection in his foot from a splinter. We are SO grateful Giovanna in reception, who arranged for him to see a Dr and translated for us. She even came to to pharmacy with us. He would have become very sick without her help, thank you very much! We had one meal at the campsite restaurant which wasn't great. Mostly because of the grumpy service, the pizza was only OK. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the campsite, spend your money there instead. The pool is very nice, but the swim hat rule seems a bit insane, given that there are dirty foot baths to walk through to get poolside, the pool wasn't even that clean! Our daughter tried the kids club, which was solely in Italian, but the lovely animation ladies made every effort to include her. She especially enjoyed the discos in the evening and in the pool in the afternoon. We had a great time on Elba Island, quite an adventure from the UK. We were the only British people on the campsite and perhaps on the whole island. I would certainly recommend this campsite, the staff are very friendly and it gives the place a very relaxed vibe.

A beautiful camping site close to the sea but large groups make a lot of noise deep into the night, so sleeping is very difficult before 2 a.m. This is what spoilt for me what should have been a peaceful week of vacation. The management wasn't able to stop the noise.

We went MId May and it was soo empty we had 3 pitches to ourselves. From the far end you can see the beach and it is a short stroll through a few restaurants and bars to get to it. The pool is huge with a great water feature. Great value all round, even if the loo block was a bit of a walk. PS if you dont like sqaut toilets you can usually find a few normal ones ..towards back of toilet block.
