Stayed here for 4 nights in Feb 2014 with my parents. The two double ensuite rooms we had were excellent - recently decorated, spotlessly clean (and also done daily) and well furnished. Ample heating, cooling, TV, fast and free WiFi, toiletries, bedding, extra pillows, etc....More

Are you arriving by car ?? Very important. We did have a car and drove to P the first day to try it out. Parking ridiculously expensive. I had planned to take the train from Zoagli to Santa Margherita, then bus to P which stops right outside the station, very convenient. But the cost of that would pay for 2 hours parking at P. So if you have a car then drive. To be honest we spent one hour only, more than enough to see P and take a few photos. Unless you are very wealthy don't plan to sit down or eat or drink! The beauty of P can really only be seen from the sea.Take the pictures and leave back to Santa Margherita where we spent the rest of the day. A lovely little town. If you are staying at Cerisola 2003 it is fantastic. The view to Portofino is amazing.Only place in Italy where you can have an omelette for breakfast !
