We randomly drove through the Village San Valentino and decided to stay there for one night. We are really glad we did! It was really the new and contemperary exterior which made us choose hotel Stocker. We where met with an great host in the reception and we where given a beautiful room! The room looked brand new with an great bathroom, soft kingsize bed and there was glass from the floor to the ceeling facing towards south and the beautiful mountain range. Tips: We had room number 322 Thanks for the perfect stay! Hope to see you again
We stayed here recently as a group on an organised car tour. We were the first to arrive after a long, and unexpectedly difficult journey. We were welcomed by the receptionist, who was a little distant but very efficient. Our room was absolutely gorgeous with floor to ceiling windows leading onto a lovely balcony with scenic alpine views. Very modern in design,as was the bathroom, but very clean and comfortable. We went to the bar to await our fellow travellers. We had a couple of messages to say that some were going to be later than anticipated, which we relayed to the receptionist. She told that if they weren't there by eight o'clock, they would miss dinner. In the event only ourselves and another couple were in the dining room before the cut off time. The food was lovely. A five course set menu. Another two couples arrived about eight thirty, and they were served a meal, although only a main course. The last couple arrived quite a bit later, to be told that they couldn't eat at the hotel, and a take away pizza was suggested to them. After a very difficult drive through bad weather, in the dark over a mountain pass, they declined and went to bed. It might have been nice if the staff had been able to perhaps have some cold food available for them. After all there was plenty of bread, cheese and ham for breakfast the following morning! We loved the hotel, but due to the above issues, have on,y given it fours stars, rather than the five we felt it would have deserved.…
Arrived from Nancy after a long drive. Welcoming staff very friendly. Accommodation was fine food was good. The room had a balcony which was nice. Ideal location for drive to the stelvio pass. Would use again
Stayed here for one night and would like to have stayed for many more. Amazing family run hotel. Room was very spacious and modern with a spectacular view. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast very good. Service was outstanding. Attila was very attentive and helpful. Gave us great info for our trip next day to Stelvio pass and then onwards to Brenzone at Lake Garda. He even recommended some restaurants based on actual knowledge of location. Would really recommend. Amazing value for money. Well done Hotel Stocker family.
