We paid for a little luxury - got none. This Castle/hotel is very run down. No service - breakfast was good on the first day but same food being served every day after that - by that I mean literally the same food as the amount became less and the fruit salad juice became cloudy - 12 eggs became 3...

We visited on a pre-booked appointment whilst staying locally to view the Castle in the hope of recommending it to guests who would be visiting for our wedding. We would of needed roughly 25 bedrooms. With this in mind, we thought the Castle would be pleased to be able to secure this booking and would showcase the Castle to the...

This was an amazing place where you feel that you have traveled back in time to medieval times while still maintaining some modern day luxuries like the amazing pool. It is a very romantic place and is excellent for long walks in the hotel's large estate. Furthermore, horseback riding is available within a short riding distance. There is also a...

We spent a week in a cste prior to my friends weeding in Titigniano. It is a very charming place and definitely worth visiting. However, the overall feeling is that they are not using the full potential of the property... We have been there is an unusual hit week for Perugia, and with a rather poorly AC in the castle...

We were attending a wedding nearby and spent 3 nights here. Staff are very friendly and the hotel as lovely as the website promises. The library with shelves of untidy old books is great! I would recommend this place, BUT I could not give it an Excellent score as the one evening dinner we had here was not great and...

We were quite disappointed with this hotel. It is a nice experience for one night. The stuff is very friendly and warm, however the whole place had an air of neglect. I'm sure that it was lovely once but it looks as if nothing has been spent on it for about 10 years. Our room was big and comfortable but...

If I could rate it 10 stars I would. It's like walking into a different world, this hotel is just perfect for romantic getaway. It is located about 7 km from...

My girlfriend and I decided to visit the Castello based on the great reviews that we had read on Tripadvisor. We stayed for an overnight, a Sunday, check-out the next morning. We visited Assisi the next day, which was an easy 30min car drive away. The staff was very warm and pleasent-and extremely helpful in helping us get to this...

The nice pictures are from the castle, the appartments are outside the gates and very primitive, I would say less than basic, and regrettably not clean. Location is remote, do not forget to bring a few books because there is not much to do.
