Matteo and his family gave us a warm welcome and comfortable stay in this lovely area of Piemonte. Matteo was quick to help with advice on places to visit in the area and in our quest to find information on Italian ancestors. Everything was very pleasant. Christian and Roberta prepared and served delicious meals which were a highlight of our...

3 generations operating a 400 year old property ensure a wonderful experience where you truly feel at home. Special treats included wine from their own vineyard, hazelnuts and hazelnut spreads from their plantation. Sitting in one of the long row of cane chairs overlooking the vineyard as the sun set in the afternoon was bliss! The owners were truly hospitable...

Going to the Truffle Festival in Alba this fall? Just want to take in the Tuscan country side but still be close to Turin and other cities. Want great food, pick your own figs *for free). Eat homemade jams and the best homemade nutella you'll ever try for breakfast. Well then, La Quercia Rossa is your place. Takes about an...

This review is long overdue! My husband and I traveled to northern Italy in September, with La Quercia Rossa being our first stop. What a great entry-point to this country! We enjoyed the stunning setting, up on the hill overlooking vineyards and olive trees. Matteo was a wonderful host, bringing us wine and hazelnuts from his property to sample. Unfortunately...

Beautiful location, wonderful food, very attentive host (Matteo). It really is the place to stay if you are seeking something special in Piedmont. It is a true Agritourismo. It has vinyards and orchards and they produce their own wine and have their own jams, preserves and hazelnuts to purchase.

Rooms are very clean and give you all comfort you except. Very nice view and nice swimmingpool (with extra towels included). And than ... the restaurant: Roberta and the cook...

Lovely area, ver rural but close to interesting small towns. Rooms basic but very clean and comfortable. Showers too small for large adults. The property is large and actively engaged in their farming enterprise. Food is fantastic and well priced. A large assortment of their own produce on the menu but also available to buy. Very friendly and welcoming service...
