Resort Cala della Torre – Siniscola, Italy Cala della Torre village, whose name comes from the close Sardinian tourist site, is located on the middle-eastern coast of Sardinia, surrounded by a pine forest with immense white beaches with pink nuances. The resort, totally renewed and equipped with all services, is placed in an amazing private park, just in front of the tourist little harbour, at 350 mt. from the beach “La Caletta”. Ground floor rooms with patio and garden or pool view. Rooms with French balcony and small terrace. Family rooms with loft and large terrace. In the morning open the windows of your room, let yourself be flooded by the first rays of sunshine and the air of the sea of Sardinia. Our rooms are welcoming, with walls painted in fresh colours that recall the sea. The furnishings are simple, linear and spacious, airy, suitable to accomodate a family.

We arrived via a tour operator looking for a relaxing couple break - we understood there was a mismatch with what we were looking for. The hotel is close to a quiet amazing private beach and there is also a train-wheeled service going there throughout the day - big pro! The structure (around 1990s) and services are more suitable for families with kids or who loves kid clubs inside the resort: there were activities all day long at the beach, at the pool, and also in room-facing outdoor area (so you could hear it all evening long). A few parking spots inside the resort (in a week we always had to park along the public road outside); the hotel works with only a full meal deal and the quality was ok, however, the hotel was super crowded and when seated you were slammed by other tables guests. By our expectations and experience, we didn't get value for money for a 4* hotel (ie. we went to Olbia to Bacchus\Jazz Hotel and quality was way higher!).

The food is good, some typical Sardegna tastes, you can try the wine Vermentino of this region. The hotel has its own beach easily accessible and pleasant. The rooms on the first floor have no wi-fi and the air is not so pleasant inside, it is a little bit chilly. You cannot rest and sleep until 23pm, when the animation program for children ends. but in the morning it is calm, birds are singning

The hotel seemed nice, at first, but as our holiday got on, it so happened that one “misfortune” followed another. At first, my son’s bed got flooded due to a fault with the insulation of the terrace above us. Those things happen and the hotel’s management were curious enough to help us transfer to another room in a matter of thirty minutes from being notified about the leak. After we got to the second room, the big fault with the hotel showed it’s face. We were moved to a room on the second floor, on the north-west side of the hotel. That side directly looks over the pool and has a view towards the port. The other thing it looks over is the amphitheatre. As you might know, the hotel has an entertainment programme that ends, every night with a show with music for the kids. The problem is, to put it shortly, the fact that the amphitheatre is positioned towards about hundred -and-fifty rooms. The programme lasts until 11pm. The other thing is that the windows don’t hinder any of the noise that just blasts through them. I would like to share this with anyone that is looking to visit the hotel with kids that are an age not proper for them to join the entertainment programme, so they’ll have to sleep in front of a dance club. After all this is advertised as a “family hotel”.

We have promised ourselves a visit to Sardinia for some time and decided to book the hotel throughVoyage Prive. We had a 10 day break on a 'soft' all inclusive package. The package includes breakfast, lunch and dinners with beer or wine included at lunch and dinner. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are excellent, very friendly and efficient. The food is all buffet style and there was always something on offer that you could enjoy. The hotel guests are mostly italian families and couples. They drive to Genoa and then get the ferry over to Sardinia. We travelled on 12th September and found that the resort was ending down to closing off the season on the 22nd September. La Caletta at this time of year is quiet. The beaches are empty for the most part and the locals seem to be enjoying the lack of crowds that the summer brings. We found ourselves to be made very welcome wherever we went in the town. There was no mention of Brexit, thank god! The hotel offers a little train to take guests to their beach are which has free sunbends, lots of them. We chose to use the pool are and often found that we had fewer than 10 other guests for company. The hotel is marked as a four star but in truth three stars would be a better rating, not because of any criticism of the place just that the wifi is only in the lobby and sometimes available in the pool area. A second table service restaurant would have been welcome and more drawer storage in the room would also help. We booked our transfers with Voyage Prive and had a young man driving a huge mercedes to collect us and then a large VW people carrier to take us back to the airport. The only problem then occurred with our return flight with Vueling Airlines changing at Barcelona, please read my review of the airline - NEVER, NEVER fly with Veuling Airlines.

this hotel is very friendly, clean, great staff even when busy, food varied and excellent but be sure to get to the restaurant early in the session as the servery heaters could do with a boost, food tends to cool off, but there is tons of super salad if you prefer ; tip:if you want quieter evenings attempt to get a room not facing swimming pools as the evening entertainment can get a bit boisterous! but very happy stuff!! take a boat trip on the Galvana [think that is the spelling!! you will visit an impressive grotto and two simply stunning beaches -- the cleanest you will ever find -- one of which is teeming with sardines who will swim around you and tickle your toes ! an uplifting experience believe me this a designated "no fishing area" so they don`t get caught and eaten!! Sardinia and the hotel were a very pleasant surprise.

Stayed at the hotel in Aug 2019, was certainly not a 4 star more like a 3 star. Food was nice but setup was chaotic like a mad free for all especially at breakfast when the croissants were replenished. Beware of the word all inclusive as its not, its soft inclusive so you only get a very limited drinks selection & only tea & coffee at breakfast. Also if you want quiet ask for a room the opposite side to the pool as the entertainment is very loud.

Hotel: older but clean Room: double bed has only Juliette balcony which is not even enough for the stand to dry your wet clothes. Otherwise clean room with AC and TV (Italian, English, German, Spanish, Russian and French channels) Bathroom has clean towels, available shower gel and shampoo all in one, shower, bidet and toilet. Restaurant: crowded during meal times, closed rest of the day. Bar: bar has sweet snacks and very sweet soft drinks available during the day but I did not like it at all. It also has industrial coffee machine with "yuck" coffee and milk in powder. This was the worst disappointment. U come to Italy and their espresso or cappuccino tastes worse than at your work. If u want to enjoy coffee during your holiday go to local cafe's. For 1,5Eur u will be delighted with the taste of Italian coffee. Meals: Breakfast is OK for the first 2 days when u eat scrambled eggs and cheese and ham. Then u realize it's every day the same and u run out of options. It's a pity they do not know that sausage can be eaten also in the morning. Only exception are sweet breakfast lovers - you will be happy with the choice. Lunch and dinner: OK, everyone will get satisfied. Fruits, veggies, pizza, pastas, meat, cheese, prosciutto, cakes.... U will find something u like. Do not worry. We even had a roasted pig one evening and that was a delight. Pool: maintained but closed when guard is not on duty. Evening entertainment: veeeeery loud and only Italian. After some time I started to like the "Ta ta ta" song they played every day when entertainment started. I think kids would like it. Beach: 10 minutes away from hotel.u can also take hotel shuttle train that operates every 30min in September. Beach is nice, clean with grey sand, very shallow so great 4 kids and non swimmers. There is a bar on the beach and also along the way to the beach there are bars available. Trips: available trip to coastal beaches along the way to beach Cala Goloritze. Ship Davide is very noisy all day long and the beaches get very crowded if only 2 full ships with 200 people arrive there at the same time. But it's really beautiful scenery and trip with turquoise clear waters to swim in. Other things to do: walk to St. Lucia village or the opposite direction or rent a car. There is not really much to do here. Overall: forget about 4* and all day accessible food and drinks and u won't be disappointed. U get here what u pay for. I paid 538eur all together 4 a week including flight and it's a "so so" value 4 money. I would not pay more. It's better to go to other destinations then. It was OK but I will not come here again.

Dear Zuzana B, thank you for staying at our hotel and for sharing your feedback. We are happy that overall you appreciated most of the services we provide. We are sorry that they didn't fully meet your expections, but we would like to point out that the assignment of the number of stars to a structure is not due to an arbitrary decision, but is the result of a screening process of the number and quality of the services offered. Best regards, the Management

Enjoyed 7 nights at Cala della Torre. Successfully requested a quiet room which was just as well as the rooms facing the pool had to endure very loud entertainment until just before midnight. Room was kept exceptionally clean but there was insufficient storage space. Food was very good and restaurant staff worked hard to keep on top of the buffet and clear tables. The “soft” all inclusive covered free wine and beer at meal times with soft drinks, water and coffee all day. However you could go full AI for 15 euros per person per day or use a pre loaded bar card. The pool area, bars, reception and restaurant were very clean. There is a little train to take clients to a private area of excellent beach some 600 yards away. The reception staff were very attentive and made you feel wanted. Whilst I would recommend this hotel, it probably only has 4 star status because of the amenities.
