We have been staying in Hotel Madrigale for a week in late July / beginning of August 2020. We had rented a Dolce Vita appartment with lake view. I must say, for numerous reasons this was a perfect stay.
Starting with the accomodadtion. The Dolce Vita Appartments are brand new and have a really nice, well thought through design. They are spacious, calm and offer big balconies towards Lago di Gardo. The hotel itself, the restaurant and the amenities were great as well. Especially the two pools with scenic view over the lake we enjoyed a lot. There was always enough space for us (family of 4) to enjoy it.
Food was great as well (we had breakfast included and dined in the restaurant once).
Most noteworthy is how professionally, yet friendly and non-intrusive, the hotel has implemented the saftey measures required by Covid19. The breafast buffet turned into a serviced buffet with great service, the were desinfectant dispensers averywhere, the staff was either behind glass (reception) or wearing masks consistently. During the hot period not an easy task to do, therefore I have even more respect. Especially since in many restaurants we dined out near the Lake during our stay, the staff was adhering the Covid measures rather reluctantly in quite some places.
We have enjoyed our stay a lot and already recommended the hotel to friends.

My husband, adult daughter and I stayed for 5 nights in July. The hotel maintained strict corona rules with mask wearing inside the hotel and hand sanitizer available. The two pool areas are totally inviting with breathtaking views of Garda lake. The pool area also is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and Mediterranean plants and flowers. Both pools are fantastic! Our room had a lovely terrace with a fantastic view of the lake. The maitre’d (host), waiters and waitresses at breakfast, dinner and the pool area were polite, helpful and attentive. The breakfast had a great variety of fresh breads, fruits, cereals, cold cut (sandwich meats) and eggs and plain Omelettes made to order (omelettes with cheese, ham, etc. made to order with an minimal additional charge of 2€) Our room was very clean and well maintained. The rooms were promptly cleaned each morning, so we came back to a made room after breakfast. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The WiFi needs improvement and the very limited dessert selection at dinner could use some improvement as well. Overall, it was an extremely relaxing, pampering experience. It is now our favorite hotel in Garda. We stayed at the Regina Adelaide in the past. However, it seems very out dated by comparison with only one pool area. For people concerned that they are not staying in the heart of the town, this is actually an advantage as the hotel is very serene. There is plenty of public parking in the town of Garda which is a 5 minute drive. After dinner we drove to the town for an evening stroll. My family and I will return in late August as we could not get enough of this exceptional hotel. Thank you for a truely enjoyable stay.

Madrigale offers a calm, relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Perfect If you want to relax without children. Wonderful views of Garda lake. We stayed at a studio suite that offered 2 large rooms with everything you could wish for.

Safe and good parking, easy to get to wineries nearby.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Not everyone could speak English since the hotel has a lot of German guests.

Only one thing that was not up to standards - the restaurant food was not as good as it could have been. We only had dinner once and left the hotel in the evenings to eat in other restaurants nearby that was much better.

Great hotel and facilities very clean, breakfast was amazing and the views are stunning. Lovely to escape from the hustle and bustle of Garda. My only 2 complaints are there is no transportation to and from hotel so if you don’t have a car you have to rely on taxi’s!! €15 each way! The hotel should offer a shuttle service considering its so high up secondly charging €20pp for use of spa for paying guests is a bit unreasonable as the facilities are very basic other than that great hotel and staff were very helpful at all times, beautiful location 😊

The hotel is full of peace and quiet, away from the bustle of the lake shore and with fantastic views. The very personal approach of the staff both at the reception and in the restaurant is also beautiful. Breakfast in the morning on the terrace overlooking Lake Garda is a great experience.
We will definitely be back here.

The Hotel was immaculate through out. The room was spacious with a small balcony and a view of the lake and Garda town. The room was fresh and contemporary with a large walk in shower. The room was cleaned every day and all the staff were very attentive. There are two pool areas. An infinity pool which is very cold and also another conventional pool that is kept warm.
There is also a small spa and bike hire on the lower floor.
The town of Garda is 1.5 miles down a steep hill. Although a car or scooter is not necessary it brings its advantages, if you are the exploring kind.
We had breakfast every day in the dinning room. Which was the usual continental style. The hotel menu for dinner is, almost fine dinning and quite varied. There are quite a few places to eat in town, if you prefer.
All together it was a lovely stay

I had just one night here during a business trip with my wife.
The hotel is located in a beautiful area on top of the hill with a view to the Lago di Garda.
The room was very clean.
I appreciated a lot the special cover for the TV Remote control. This is my first time I have seen such special feature!
There is a spectacular restaurant with the view to the lake.
We had a excellent dinner, as Italians, we can say that and suggest to try it!
Same for the Breakfast!

Outstanding views over Lake Garda, superb Pools, clean and spacious rooms. Nice and professional staff, good breakfast. However, only one restaurant (menu or a la carte) and no cosy place to wat a pizza or something else in the evening.

Everything was perfect, I have absolutely no reminder. Place, room, clean, services, food. Amazing view from room, restaurant and pools… Ideal place for couples. Maybe sometimes we had a problem with parking.

Saluti,Lucia
