I have only one thing to say. It was beautiful. The service was good, the rooms were cozy and the food was very well prepared. The atmosphere of the hotel truly made me feel like a 17th century aristocrat. The waiters were very kind. I had only a few issues. When I asked for a few extra pillows, they came after I asked another time. The wi-fi could have been better and there were some errors with requests for food and certain toppings.
This place is a remarkable great propperty with a lot of history and amazing atmosphere. Marvelous vintage interiors so beautifully decorated like in a palace. Rooms are with excellent beds, old-fashioned bathrooms. Enjoyable and delicious food at the restaurant. Big garden is simply beautiful, it is actually old park with many paths and the pool which is good for comfort summer vacation. On top of this all we had the friendlyness of the helpfull staff. Villa Lupiss has a romantic atmosphere and for us it occures to be essence of our Italy trip.
Very nice place to stay. It breaths history. Mrs. Luppis is very kind. The diner is excellent. The garden is amazing. The rooms are clean but a little cold in the winter. This is a great place to visit when you are in the area, no doubts about it!!
We stayed at Luppis for 3 days, several families with (big) kids. It is a really beautiful place, a former monastery I think, with old buildings, very nice garden and big swimming pool. The garden restaurant is spectacular, serene and relaxing. I think it is a family business and they are really nice and ready to help you and make you feel welcome. This is Rural Italy as you see it in the American movies:) There were some minor issues (one evening service in the restaurant was slow and kind of confused, but in a funny Italian way) but nothing significant. The place is close to Venice and the seaside(you need a car). So, great place:)
Quite atmosphere good service and Excellent food. They have very nice choose of local Wine. The dish are prepared with a lot of attention on details. You must know the place to reach it Always ask in advance if any event is plan. Good location for a romantic dinner as well during the week.
This property is the epitome of perfection. Everything is just so beautiful and elegant: from the antique furniture collection, perfectly manicured gardens, amazing art collection, elegant dining settings to wonderfully decorated rooms and bathrooms. Eating in doesn’t feel like eating in at a hotel’s restaurant, it feels like eating at a Michelin restaurant. Great variety of meat and fish dishes, accompanied by great wines selection. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and very well trained. Highly recommended.
Pros: - quiet location - good beds - huge pool - huge park Cons: - very poor Wifi, login after login, not available at pool, restaurant - this can be done easily better!!! - weak AC (looks like from 1990) and water stains on ceiling (condens water from AC) -> we had to change room (after some discussions) - totally worn bathroom equipment - limited breakfast selection (typical italian but not even fresh Cornetto) - guest are smoking in front of breakfast room, smoke comes inside Note that there are weddings on summer weekend which might limit your (good) experience at this place (limited access to premises/pool, loud music till midnight I think this place has really potentials but for the paid rates (around 100€) the value is just too low.
My husband and I made an overnight stop there on our way to Livorno. Well, we would have loved to stay longer. This place has only good vibes. Great welcome, flexibility, nice room, bed with a good matress, a balcony looking at the garden, a fantastic pool, a relax athmosphere, people working there asking you so genuinely if everything is alright, no problem if you want to stay at the pool the day you leave, and, oh my God, the food: just a surprise! It was fantastic! Diner on the terrasse overlooking the parc, nicely lit in the trees, great background music, the beef cooked perfectly for my husband, rabbit and quail for me, beautifully presented, showing research and care...nice service. Yes, that's it, because the people working there are obviously happy, they make you feel happy. You are at the pool, you want a drink r you want a sandwich there, it will happen. I would with no hesitation come back with a bunch of friends or with my family, for a long weekend, to feel at home, eat well, enjoy the tranquillity and the pool, and meet everybody again. Thank you Mrs Luppis and thank you to the team!…
Villa Luppis is quite simply an oasis of calm. Visually, the hotel - a former monastery - and expansive gardens are stunning and instantly make you feel at ease. The staff throughout Villa Luppis are charming, always keen to help but never intrusive. The bedrooms are gorgeous and of a generous size, with lovely furnishings and nice little touches. The food is some of the most delicious I have ever tasted. It felt such a privilege to eat here and to enjoy some of the local wines. If you're looking for a place where you feel at home, yet in luxurious surroundings both inside and out, Villa Luppis fits the bill.
I stayed here for one night on way through the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. From the moment I walked through the gates I felt like I was being transported to another world. Elegant is the word I would use to sum up the expansive grounds and decor. The service at reception was so helpful and friendly and I genuinely felt they cared about how I felt about my stay. The room was beautifully furnished, emperor size bed really firm and comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower, toiletries were plentiful and soft fluffy towels as you would expect. The meal was nothing short of exquisite and the absolutely anyone and everyone. It's a fantastic base for visiting historical cities of Trieste and Udine, anyone interested in gastronomy and even just a quiet place to recharge.
