Beautiful location near a stunning beach. Hotel was in a ok condition, pool area and garden are nice. Rooms are small and dated. Staff is very rude and most of them don't speak english. I would not recommend it to anyone. Other local people were friendly.

unexpected surprises From the beginning it's was very unpleasant breakfast, and then the dinner I was there about 9:00 and it was nothing to eat.it's las until 10:00 .I don't know what they call Buffet at it was only salad and pasta every day , no choice 😕 very rude the receptionist asked them to change our room, of course they didn't, the air conditioning didn't work, our view was of the garbage . Then when paying the bill for the drinks, there were some extras , the prices they had increased, what a surprise.. I would not recommend this place ...

We went there with my husband and it was a perfect little family hotel. The staff was cheerful, friendly and thoughtful. They created a very fun atmosphere! We are especially thankful to administrator Giedre and Antonio who helped us to settle in and gave us tips where to go sightseeing. There is a beautiful lighthouse and panoramic view to Stromboli volcano right next to the hotel. The hotel is suitable for relaxing but also you can party until 12pm in the pool bar where magnificent bartender makes great cocktails (especially mohito). In the daytime they play Italian music by the pool and it makes you feel the Italian spirit (big thank you to Maggie and her partner!) The hotel area is nice and clean and the furniture is new. When we first came to our room it smelled wonderful! And there were flower petals on the pillows which was a very nice touch. You can also see the sea from basically every room in the hotel because the hotel stands in the middle of the cape. The breakfast had smaller range of food but the croissants, pastries and coffee was great. For dinner we had two dishes and we could choose either pasta or meat/fish + dessert. Ciro wine with dinner is a must! The shuttle to the beach and back was included and there were no inconveniences with it. The sea is clear as crystal and the colour is emerald like. I recommend renting a car for a few days, there's Avis company close by and our experience with it was satisfactory. Overall I would come here again it is a very sweet place. Do recommend for everyone. P.S. Armando we thank you for being so patient with us you are a wonderful person! Good luck to you all!

Nice place to stay. Service was good and the food ok. Friendly staff. Relaxing pool area and lots of loungers. We stayed on the grounds and had a little issue with ants, which was addressed right away. There is a free shuttle to the beach not far away. A charge of 10 euro for umbrella and 2 chairs if you want. F.Y.I there was no safe in our room and there was a charge for internet.

Loved our stay in Capo Vaticano and this friendly hotel. Took a bit of time to get used to the dining arrangements - on half board you get to chose whether to have lunch or dinner and chose which of the two choices to have on offer for starter and main. The food was good and we got used to the routine! The pool was spotless and just the right temperature - the pool bar is open all day until midnight (the pool is out of bounds after 7pm which is reasonable!) Most restaurants in the town are linked to hotels so there is not a huge variety of meals. The exception was da Mimma a great local restaurant with views over Stromboli if you go in the evening (Stomboli seems to disappear in the daytime) and only about 400 yards up the road from the hotel. There are 3 local beaches which are all great - the hotel shuttle bus services one of them - we found the other two just as good especially Santa Maria and the excellent Da Barbone fish restaurant overlooking the beach - you need a car as the walk is over a mile and it's uphill on the way back.

Back here as returning customer. Hotel was as nice as last time. Has a nice rustic Italian feel and nice and clean. Great views over the coast. Short walk to beach but very steep, hotel bus available though. Shops and a few restaurants near by. Only thing that let it down this time was the quality of evening food (which you would not expect to question in Italy) and price of drinks. Would recommend this hotel as B&B

A wonderful family friendly gem! Incredible food and service! Beautiful swimming area and gardens! Located a short walk from the hotel's beach and a very short bus ride to beautiful Tropea. Shuttle service is also offered by hotel.

We found it a very hard slog to stay here. First room offered was like a prison cell but they moved us later on. Took out a package for 7 nights for meals which we thought was OK but don't bother food very basic and the waiting staff are rude. We attended the calabria night and the waiting staff put your room number on the table no choice of where you would like to sit. They put us right next to the smoking hot barbecue which we refused to sit there and from then on we were treated like criminals. Reception staff ignorant bury their heads rather than even smile at you. We were treated very poorly I don't think I have ever felt so isolated we didn't want to eat here in the end and gave back our voucher. The only nice thing is the pool and gardens other than that I don't think it was worth the expense. You have to pay for a friDge, they put 2 euro service charge per person for everything our bill at the end just didn't tally up but for such poor waiting service told them noway and related train the miserable staff.

We stayed here last September for two weeks and it was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. We had stayed in Calabria about nine years ago and loved it but we're able to fly from Manchester which was really easy, now we have to go to stansted, stay overnight and fly with Ryanair which was not a good experience (watch flights for 50p on u tube and you will understand what I mean!) however the hassle was worth it when we arrived at this delightful family hotel. We had the front room overlooking the beach which was small but worth it for the view. The receptionist Ursula was very helpful and efficient and we had a lot of fun with Franco the head waiter. The swimming pool is lovely and you can see the sea as you swim. The food is simple country cooking and there are different restaurants to try. There is not a lot to see or do but it is a beautiful unspoilt area and Tropea is worth visiting.

A lovely traditional hotel. We stayed in one of the detached villa's which was a classic white washed block with large rooms, air conditioning and a great view out to see. The hotel is a short 10 minutes walk down to the beach however they do run a shuttle bus. There is a good sized pool with pool bar and the restaurant is beautifully positioned on an open veranda so you truly feel as if you are on holiday. There is a limited choice for food (fish or meat dish) however the food taste lovely and this is a great way to dine. You will not go hungry. Breakfast is the traditional continental buffet. Opposite the hotel is a bar with a balcony looking out across the sea to Sicily - a great way to finish the evening. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Southern Italy.
