Villa Cecchini sits on a mountainside overlooking Montecatini and the valley below. You get there by a narrow winding road that climbs through olive orchards (watch out for hairpin curves!), but once you arrive you'll understand what all the fuss is about. It feels extremely private, and there's an electric gate on the driveway that shuts out the world behind... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for five nights in this villa. Perfect for a large group of friends: the property has an ideal balance between privacy (enough bedrooms/bathrooms/places to retreat) and get-together places (fussball, pool area, terrace, fire place). Owner is service-minded and well available for solving any problems you may encounter during your stay or for giving recommendations for... More

My family and I spent a week in this amazing Villa. it's up a winding mountain road that has great views on the way up and even better views when you get to the place. It is absolutely fully set for any kind of holiday; swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, sun loungers, deck chairs, wood fired out-door pizza oven, superb barbecue,... More

We spent a week in beautiful Tuscany at the end of June. Villa Cecchini was fantastic, the place and the view from the house has breathtaking! The area is quiet and if you like jogging or a easy hike there are good hiking trails in the green woods behind the house. From the house you have short distance most attractions... More

I had the chance to spend a beautiful romantic week with my fiancè at Villa Cecchini! Esquisite typical Tuscany Villa on the hills with an amazing midievil panorama! The villa is quite big and the interior decorations are enchanting, a mix of modern and antique. There's a nice pool right out the front door and a barbeque right by it... More

Just a few minutes' drive through the hills covered with olive trees and you are there. It's like going back a few centuries when things were less hectic. There is a calm and peace over the whole area. I especially enjoyed walking up and down the midieval cobblestone streets to see the church where there is a beautiful view of... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
If there is a single word more alluring then Italy, then it must be its own heart and soul . . . . Tuscany. In the rolling Tuscan hills, not far from the ancient cities of Florence, Pisa and Lucca, nestled amongst terracced olive groves, fruit orchards, vineyards and woods lies Villa Cecchini. A boutique self catering villa rental, part of Boutique Farmhouses, where you can put a little distance between yourself and the rest of the world. The villa, a splendid 18th century stone farmhouse, has recently been totally restored by world traveller and hospitality executive Dario Cecchini while maintaining its charme and character. In spite of the old fashioned, luxurious atmosphere, it offers all the modern amenities to satisfy the most exigent needs: panoramic swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, satellite HDTV, WiFi connection, outdoor music systems and many more. The whole of Tuscany is in your doorstep, and renting Villa Cecchini is an authentic and intimate experience that no hotel can offer. After relaxing with a glass of wine on the brick patio or by the pool bar, gazing out at medieval castles, you will understand immediately that: "Villa Cecchini is not a place - It's a way of life" ... more   less
