Hotel's Favorite
Long review with plenty of info.
Booked this hotel chain after a holiday to Limak Lara in 2018.
This hotel is 5* in Turkey rating but was 4* on Jet2.
Holiday as a family of 4 - 2 adults, 17yr old & 13yr old. 10 nights from beginning of August.
**Arrival**
smooth process. Approx 1hr 30 from airport in small minibus with a few others. We were 2nd drop. Arrived after 1am we were offered food but declined. Luggage taken to our rooms for us. We got lost finding room but luggage person helped us.
**Rooms**
We had a 2 bedroom family room which was fab. One room with 2 single beds & mini fridge (stocked daily with 2x - beer, their version of orange Fanta, pepsi, peach juice, still & sparkling water), wardrobe space & dressing table. Hallway with space to store cases. Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, safe & kettle with tea/coffee. Both bathrooms containing toilet, sink & shower. Also shower gel along with a few other toiletries. Both rooms had own air conditioning so can set for each room. Small balcony with 2 chairs & table with 1 single bar for drying. I took a thin washing line rope & pegs so managed to set this up across balcony so gave us extra drying space which was needed. Rooms cleaned, towels changed & mini bar restocked daily.
**Hotel grounds & pools**
Take time to have a wonder round to get your bearings as you don’t want to miss anything as it’s all great. The grounds are kept clean. Plenty of tables/chairs at snack bar & bar area. We got beds by the pool without the slides. Not really sun-bed wars to be fair. Still beds available at 9am. There are also fridges dotted round where you can help yourself to bottled water which is fab in the heat we had (43°+ every day). Pools towels provided & can be changed throughout day & at end of day. Can opt for clean towels or towel cards to collect the next day.
**Staff / Entertainment**
All the staff are friendly & helpful. Entertainment staff do not stop all day, there is always something going on but no pressure to take part. List of day & evening activities/entertainment on the boards at side of amphitheater. Evening entertainment (professional shows) were great. From dance groups to gymnasts. Theres also a disco after 10pm at side of Patisserie & various other things going on after main show.
**Food**
Plentiful & varied but some things repetitive but thats all inc in general. Found plenty to eat at breakfast & evening in the restaurant. As you can imagine going at 19:30 it was like a cattle market & difficult to find a table, so we opted to go earlier & never an issue getting a table.
Ate at the snack bar most lunchtimes (opens 12:00-17:00) which has choice of salad, meats, pizza, burgers, fries, fruit & desserts.
There are other places to eat & drink dotted around the hotel. You’ll receive a guide on all eateries & opening times at check-in. The IceCreams are served at the icecream bar by the beach 13:00-17:00. Patisserie serving a variety of cakes/desserts, hot/cold drinks as well as iced coffee)
We went to 3 a la carte - book at guest relations or by pool through day. Pay on check-out. We had Turkish as the free complementary (can chose Italian), Chinese at €9 per person & BBQ at €9 per person (didn’t get charged for children). The BBQ was where you choose your own meats (as much & as many time as you like) & cook yourself at your own table & own BBQ.
A la carte menus are great, you get plenty of food and nice to be served at your table. Also children’s menus available. You can see menus by scanning QR code on a sign on your room.
**Bars**
Various bars at the hotel. Main pool bar, smaller bar by pool with slides, beach bar, also a bar by reception & another by main buffet restaurant (those 2 you can’t go in wet from pool). Some kids mocktails available to self serve at main pool bar. Never queued for long.
**WiFi**
Fairly good. Does drop out on places but not much of an issue. Sign in on as many devices but using details of lead person on booking.
**Beach**
Again plenty of sunbeds on the beach also with canopies for shade. Sunbeds & parasols on the pier. No jumping from the peer but there are steps to get in & out of the sea. Pebbled beach so we had aqua shoes to be able to get in & out for the sea. Can get those for €15 at the shop. You can also book all your water sports at the beach. You’ll see all the party boats coming past too, from pirate ship to triple decker.
**Shops **
Shops in hotel which have some lovely things. If you have children or want sweets then go to supermarket out of hotel as half the price. Go to main street, across the crossing and supermarket on left is the one I found the cheapest. If you pay by card in shops they only accept Turkish lira however cash you can pay €, $ or lira. There are also various shops down the road selling clothes, pool inflatables/toys, trainers, bags, souvenirs, Turkish delight, baklava, tea etc etc.
**Check-out**
12:00. Was told by rep its €15 an hour to keep room on if availability. Asked at reception a few days before to be told you have to check morning of check out BUT as our room was 2 bed suite then it was €30 a hour so wasn’t paying that. There are changing rooms (1 male, 1 female) on the ground floor just ask for key from reception which is a key card & they give out lots. The changing room contains lockers with digital lock (enough space for hang luggage & clothes), 2 shower cubicles with privacy doors, bench for changing & fully stocked with towels. All in a room which you can lock. Then there is an area with 2 sinks & 2 hairdryers. You can lock the whole changing room should you wish. 3 of us got ready without any issue.
We called reception and had a member of staff take cases to luggage room. This is opposite guest relations. There are weighing scales in there as well as a suitcase wrapping machine (but didn’t wrap out luggage).
Cash machine / cash point - there isn’t one on hotel but of you go put of hotel to main road, turn right there are 3 cash points as you walk down. We loaded a revolut card so had euros on there but note the machine charges a 9.9% transaction fee for withdrawal.
Market day in Kemer - this is on Thursday, 7am until late. Your usual genuine fake clothing, shoes, bags, trinkets, food etc etc. Market is covered over with tarpaulin but can imagine it gets unbearable with no breeze & lots of people. We went super early to avoid that. Market located by the Marina so plenty of little shops & eateries too if you fancy - spotted a McDonalds too. Tutti Frutti cafe do a fabulous English breakfast, located by Marina entrance. Don’t order taxi from reception as it will cost more, again go out of hotel & taxi rank is on left. €12 to the market. Taxis dotted about for return.
Travelled Jet2 & our rep Stephanie was amazing, so knowledgable of the area. No hard sell with trips etc. She was hotel Tues, Weds, Fri, Sat & Sun 11-12. All info re rep visits at the information area near guest relations & luggage store.
All in all a fantastic stay.

This was our first time in turkey and I will be coming back that I can say straight away.
We landed in the airport and was met with the news that the U.K. government had added turkey to the list.
This as you can imagine was not a great way to start your holidays.
So as we got to the hotel we were met at the door by staff who told us to leave our luggage at the door so they could disinfect the cases. The we walked through a metal detector and temp camera along with a hand sanitizer machine.
I was very impressed with the precautions and barriers of control they were taking straight away on arrival.
All staff in all departments we’re always wearing masks and making sure people followed the social distancing and hand washing guidelines.
They were operating one way systems, handing out mask at entrances. Also they served you your food at the counters and most of time your drinks to your table. We did mention to the very friendly guest relations staff about enlarging the signs which described the food as they were to small to read and also keep your distance. They we’re very happy for the feedback and they contacted the management of these areas to see if they could do this going forward.
It was a shame not to see the hotel in full swing but they did there very best and had some good entertainment and music etc the Oktoberfest party was a highlight and a welcoming surprise.
The cabanas on the beach were fantastic and a great change from being round the pool or on the beach as normal. The pool was really good And the slides We’re a added bonus.
The Italian al Carte was very enjoyable but our favourite was the bbq. The maitre d’ of this was excellent, Great experience.
Our shopping experience was great and the shop just outside of the hotel and round the corner to the left was excellent. Kamil was a breath of fresh air and a great host. We got talk with and me and my wife shared a coffee and we hit it off and I’m really happy that I can call him my friend. Totally recommend his shop. Great quality clothing at great honest prices.
We also can recommend the spa and again the staff were fantastic, I had a lot of shoulder and neck issues and the massages have helped a great deal.
Overall we can say the staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for you.
Thanks
Mike & steph

Difficult times , took us from Cyprus to turkey, was due to fly out to Cyprus from Stansted airport , anyway its a long story , but due to covid19 restrictions on entry we didn't make it , booked another nights stay at Stanstead airport hotel and went for the teletext , I need a holiday button.
Now the 1st time we went to turkey wasn't over keen , but the guy said try kemer , but we just needed a bit of vitamin D and a chill out in all fairness, so we went with it, and went all inclusive rather than our normal do your own thing , anyway a day later we flew out to Atalanta airport to begin our Turkish tour .
Arrived early hours crashed down swopped rooms after a bit of banter with the guy on reception, had a bloody great time hotel wasn't over loaded, but fully operational good amount of English people , mostly Russians though , but its fine , food was really nice restaurants with a slight supplement good and well worth a visit , BBQ night cook your own was brilliant , with GUY , the host he normally cooks when life is less complicated, pool is very good , and areas around it, and everything is very very clean with respect for this covid situation , add ons are well worth the money , hey take a massage and get booked in on the beach for a beach hut and waiter service with all the special trimmings , worth every single penny , great guy works the beach hutches waiter 6 days a week and he's no stop hard worker and loves a bit of banter , Seyfettin Mantar, affectionately known as Steph , Mr fix it, say hello from Jay if you go and enjoy and reward his hard work, genuine fella.
Nothing more to say than BOOK! I'm taking my grandkids in October for another visit, very safe place , very respectful of the current situation.

We have been coming to the limak limra for a number of years now we have never had a bad visit, our latest stay was September where we had a side sea view room which was lovely plenty of space and a lovely balcony too the hotel has its own private beach and large swimming pools complete with water slides this truly is a wonderful hotel and can’t wait to return already.
The hotel has done an amazing job to keep their high level of standards we have been used to even during the difficult challenge of Covid. There was extra cleaning taking place everywhere throughout the day and into the night to plenty of sanitising stations everywhere and checks to ensure we are all safe I would also like to say how safe we felt being at the hotel due to this.
The only slight negative was we really missed the Indian corner this year as they aways made amazing food, and we found this year that the food was very repetitive every lunch and evening. We would highly recommend the bbq this is truly wonderful and Sertac can never do enough for you and makes the evening special.
The entertainment is brilliant there is always something to do and plenty of variety in the evenings. Umut the assistant entertainment manager is fabulous he always took the time to come and see us bringing his humour with him and would do all he could to ensure you had a great time along with his team especially DJ Tugay.
I would like to give a special mention Batuhan who was the nicest barman he remembered us from the previous year and would always find time to speak to us and was so lovely.
Should you ever need anything Enver in guest relations is always on hand he is a true credit to the hotel he aways puts a smile on your face when he is around, he always does what he can to help your holiday become special thank you for all you done for us again this time taking the time to see us off when we left we look forward to seeing you next year.

This was our third hotel from the Limak network which we have visited, and unfortunately the worst one. I was there together with my kids in February 2020. Most of the hotel was closed for renovation, so a lot of places were simply not accessible for guests. While we understand a need for performing maintenance works in the winter season, it is hard to accept that so many places are closed. Even the beach bar was closed and there was only a coffee machine there. Entertainment program was also poor. There was just a DJ playing some Turkish music in the bar and some live music in the pub, but this place was so small and occupied so it was hard to really enjoy this place. This made our stay quite boring. In addition to that, the hotel internet was working extremely poor. It was very difficult to open any website, connections were dropped frequently and overall experience from using hotel wifi was extremely poor. We went to the reception asking for help but we were simply ignored and the receptionist just said that they don't have any problems with internet.
The only good thing at this hotel was the food. We really appreciated taste and selections of dishes. To sum up, this hotel has a potential to be great, but they need to improve a lot. If you consider staying at this hotel, I would recommend you to rather choose Limak Lara or Limak Altantis instead. These two hotels are great and offers much more than Limak Limra can currenlty offer.

We came last year and was a lot better. The only issue last year was the hotel is very Russian focused and they tend to be very rude as a nation. Pushing in and generally ignorant. The hotel is very clean. The food is nice although this year poor choice compared to last year. The entertainment is not as good as last year but still okay. Would recommend to the hotel to do this on a better Rota as we stayed for 12 nights and seen the same shows every week. Covid measures were good and felt safe. Kids club is fantastic for the kids could not thank kristina and the rest enough. Kids loved it and want to go back again for third year in a row.
Beach is pebbles not sand but still clean. Facilities are all good as are all a la carte restaurants. Would recommend the hotel use plastic glasses around pool as cut my foot on glass due to been left on the floor.
Would also recommend that more focus be put on kids food and breakfast choice.
Rooms are simple but clean and cleaned well daily.
Overall would recommend and would return again hopefully without the Covid measures.

I visited Limak Limra in September 2020 for a family holiday and from start to finish it was amazing. When arriving it was quite late and they took us straight to the restaurant for us to eat. Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you- a tip goes a long way and they are very appreciative.
The pool area and beach are beautiful the hotel set up was lovely too. The food in general was gorgeous I didn’t ever have a bad meal, with covid you go up to which food you would like and they serve you all wearing masks and screens up and it’s very hygienic. Everything is getting wiped and on your tables your cutlery is packaged and not touched by anyone else and you have alcohol wipes.
Everything about this holiday was perfect and I felt very safe with regards to Covid- Very professional Staff I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Me and my family will also be coming back :)
Thank you

For our first little family holiday it was really good, forever a memory to cherish. I loved the spacious, clean room with a lovely balcony and the beautiful sea view room, spending many evenings with hubby ♥️ The staff from the cleaning lady who did such a great Job was so friendly always a smile and interacting with the children and also the staff at reception were lovely.
The only place seemed disappointing were the staff at the childrens play area not very interactive and not even a smile seeing they work with children, they would just stare. Would just stay with one another on their phones or sat around chatting.
Undertsandly for the season we visited most things were closed but if you came during the summer period I could only imagine how amazing it would be. The staff were also around ensuring things were clean and if we wanted drinks. Management ensuring we could speak to them if we needed anything.
For December times it was quite busy with few days of rain meant doing indoor activities, which is limited on lowest floor there is a swimming pool, one room to change with no seating just hooks. There's a gym, sauna and hamam room located through the swimming area. The bar area is where people seem to unwind and after 10 dance area. There unlimited alcoholic Beveridges and soft drink up until 12 midnight. Within the buffet area mostly during dinner service can get busy and not many places to sit as outside football teams reserve large chunks of the space, leaving guests to scobble for space. Variety of food a little bland as I'm of south Asian background soo like my spices and flovour. There is also another 2 resturants with a cover charge of 6 dollars to pay if eaten at. Beautiful spacious room however light front off wardrobe did not work, so left the area quite dark as well as AC not working however it was okay as it was winter season. The resort is quite secluded meaning not close to any places or shops. About 2 hours from airport. The beach is a pebble beach so comfortable shoes are required.Overall worth visiting probably best coming during summer as the closet areas like the mall to visit is an hour drive and 2 miles away is some shops, meaning alot of time maybe spent in the resort.

Currently we are still enjoying the last day of our holiday. The hotel is lovely and exceptionally clean. The staff are very thorough and cleaning everything after each use. The guest relations office are very approachable.
Would definitely reccomend the spa, cabanas, the bbq and the Italian.
The staff are always wearing masks. When we arrived the uk had just put 2 weeks quarantine on people returning to the uk so at this hotel there was not many English people, a lot of Russians were here. Would definitely recommend the outside arena and Oktoberfest party they were fab.
The poolsides had a lot of sun beds available but also spread out for social distancing.
Kamil one of the shop owners is very friendly and nice to talk to.
The only negative that we had was that the food in the normal restaraunt was coldish when we got it and that the signs to see what the food options were because of the distance between the food counter and yourself due to the staff serving was difficult to see as people were queuing for them. We spoke to guest relations and they were speaking to the manager regarding this.
Also ice cream is only available between 14.00 and 17.00 at the ice cream hut. I mentioned this to guest relations as I think that it should be in the normal restaraunt as part of the dessert selection and they were going to speak to the manager regarding this and very eager for feedback. Which to us meant that they are a company always wanting to improve there services for there customers which we felt was a good thing.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our experiences here and would definitely come back.
Some of the Alacarte restaraunts were closed due to covid restrictions but it was also to use the staff in other areas to ensure that they were preventing covid from been at the hotel.
The entertainment we found to be good and the staff were always full of energy and seemed happy.

+1
Having booked a week in Turkey we decided to try something new, "all inclusive" and not just all inclusive, we took "Ultra all inclusive". Having not gone inclusive before this was an experiment for us and it definitely was a learning experience.
Okay.. good, bad, ugly..here we go.
Good;
The location most definitely is a good, a very good. The surrounding imposing mountains make everything look beautiful which brings in a second very good, the hotel building itself is beautiful and the grounds equally beautiful. Having a walk around, during the day and night was a pleasure (discounting the "ugly" part of my review, but that will come later).
Being able to take a dip in the pool (yes it was cold but once you get over it it is fine) then walk 5 minutes and dive into the sea is really nice and there are loads of lounge chairs to chill on. The pool is clean and we had a good time getting our G&T' pool side. Another good thing is the serving staff, they are polite and genuinely serve with, what I assume is a smile on their face (they had masks on so couldn't see)
The Bad:
The bad is a pretty big bad but not quite an ugly, cleaning, especially during a pandemic are not to a standard I would expect. When our room was "cleaned" the only activity that seemed to be undertaken was that towels where exchanged. At no point was the bed straightened, the bathroom cleaned (the taps looked like they had not been for some time) and the floor wasn't cleaned.
Another big one was that, during Vivid, mask wearing helps to reduce the spread of a virus. No matter what internet gurus tell you, science tells us it is at least partially effective but during our stay here we saw now mask wearing for guests being enforced, with 99% choosing not to wear it in public spaces, although the signs around the hotel say you should. Staff all wear masks so I guess that's a plus.
Then the Ugly:
And I must admit, this might just indicate I'm a snob but the ugly part of this stay really where the other guests. The majority of my interactions with them where negative. Rude, pushy, ignorant people who I will choose not to be around.
Going for your breakfast/ lunch or dinner is like entering the thunderdome with people pushing in front and bumping into you to get the last croissant or a coffee. I found that they where rude to staff demanding food rather than ask, and serving staff showing amazing restraint, serving with a smile while these rude "guests" talk to them like dogs. It annoyed me more than it should have but it really soured the experience for me.
If all inclusive is your thing, this place might be just the thing for you but I for one won't be doing it anytime soon.
