The accommodation is excellent. Very clean and well appointed. The surrounding are lovely and serene. The staff was quite helpful. Dinner and breakfast was great. The pizza is delicious. Note: pack insect repellant. you will need it. I will be back.

This is very much off the beaten path and in a more remote area of Trinidad. We went during low season and there were only a small handful of tourists between Acajou and another nearby hotel. It was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing getaway. If you're looking to party, this probably isn't the place for you. We typically...

Acajou lodge is very restful. I spent a lot of time sat out on our veranda with a beer from the bar and, as a bit of a birder, looking at all the ridiculously bright birds flying around. It is very cool to be on the edge of the rainforrest like this and even though the whole area had had...

A beautiful getaway tucked away in the north coast of Trinidad. I loved the sound of the waves, the proximity to the sea, the rustic/natural decor of our cabin and the overall peacefulness of the place. The four poster bed with canopy and drapes was my favourite part of the cabin. I felt as if I was vacationing on another...

Don't know where to start... Very kind staff, especially Giselle Absolutely no mosquitos. Very cool atmosphere. Surroundings is exactly what we wanted, environmental impact low. Meals were delicious. Nauture in its purest sounds, loved listening to the waves continuously while resting in your room. This right here folks may just turn out to be a regular spot.

Situated on side of the grande riviere river lagune with perfect view on the caribian and perfect perfect service. Enjoy the rainforest nature in the back and the small village with its regaa-sound and its friendly people by the side.

The cottages are small and clean, but the lights weren't working and the bathroom door was broken. There's no AC and the mosquitos are everywhere. If you wish to sleep in, good luck with that as the roosters and chickens will wake you up at 4am and will continue do be outside your cottage throughout the day. As for the...

It was a treat staying here on the beach in a lovely, little Eco-cottage. The staff was welcoming and kind. Dinner was delicious. They recommended the bake and shark and it was great. We were the only folks there as it is off-season, but we were super lucky to see leatherback hatchlings. A nest had just hatched and the conservation...

The Polynesian style cottages are very comfortable & secure. 100 meters of foot path from the beach is perfect because you can hear the waves while sleeping, but you don't have to listen to people on the beach all night. We left the coolers on the deck for days & no one bothered them. We will definitely return.

Overall the experience was quite pleasant. But the only thing I didn't like was that I didn't feel 100% safe since anyone could have walked through the property. Not that I felt threatened but more security measures need to be put in place.
