We have just finished a 6 night stay with our 7 year old daughter. We absolutely loved it and have never been more relaxed. The staff were so friendly and great with our daughter. They kept her entertained and made her feel like she was apart of the resort. We can't thank the staff, particularly Mua, enough. We did the... More

After a 3 night stay on Bounty Island (a great time was had) we arrived at Botaira Resort on Naviti Island. The 3 hour ferry ride was pleasant, although the same cannot be said of our return journey. Our beach front bure was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was no fresh water. We received a free 1.5 litre on... More

I can think of fewer times I've been more relaxed than during my stay at Botaira Beach Resort. Perched on the lower end of the Yasawa Island chain (and very close to the famed 'Manta Ray Channel' and Barefoot Manta / Manta Ray Island resorts) this idyllic and charming resort offers the perfect atmosphere to recharge your batteries and escape... Considering the damage suffered by the cyclone;Botaira is slowly getting back to normal. the bures came through quite well but the dining/bar deck suffered but work was going on at a fast rate to rebuild this now very large area. We enjoyed having our meals in a newly erected structure in front of the main reception and this area was... More

We did a day trip to Botaira and felt we were the only ones there. The main building was still being rebuilt after the cyclone but we were made comfortable by the staff who were friendly and helpful. While it is a long way out, it is worth the visit because it was devastated by the cyclone and they are... More

Locally owned and staffed. Local village shares in the ownership/staffing. Food was fabulous, fish caught within the hour, fresh organic veg from garden behind. Cottages (bure) very traditional with great beach view and patio area, beautiful beach, but not a 'swim' beach as the coral needs protecting. Walk along a concrete path into the water so the reef isn't harmed... More

Thanks for the good review ....... we are pleased that you enjoyed. We are doing our best to make an enjoyable destination. Just a little correction - the bure mentioned above is the "super Deluxe Bure" just in case someone is reading this review and wishes to book. swimming can be done from straight off the beach at high tide.... Don't listen to the bad reviews, have a look at my pictures. We stayed at Botaira for five nights in April and we loved every minute of it. If you are looking for a five star resort kind of place this might not be your place to stay. But if you like smaller places with familiar treatment and total relaxation... More

Very lazy staff. Charged 110.00 per person for food - $25.00 per day would have been too much. Made real coffee one day , rest of time it was instant. Did not provide foot bath, cushions for chairs unless asked. Cleaning service was non existent. 2 pillows for 3 people. Had to buy water. They turn off the generator between... More

When one has a feeling of being ripped off - everything else is zero rated. Just like to address the claim of being ripped off with F$110 for food per day. Breakfast each morning is fruit juice, fresh fruits, choice of cereals, milk, 2 or 3 hot dishes with choices of the following - eg. scrambled eggs, lamb or chicken... More

Absolutely NO fresh water on the island. No matter what time you take the shower, brush your teeth, wash your hands, they're all salty water! You'll never feel refresh and clean at here. Daily meals plan costs you fjd104 a day but does not value what you will have. No choice, simply and limited. As there is no drinking water,... More
