We arrived after a night in Nadi, via the Octopus's own transport. This boat is smaller than the Yasawa Flyer but only took 1.5 hours and came direct from the mainland straight to Octopus. I do get seasick but as it is open I felt fine. Arriving at the island we were meet by the obligatory welcome song and escorted... More

Unfortunately I can't say positive things about this resort. When we arrived in Fiji after a 10 hours flight with 3 kids, no one from the Hotel show up to pick up us. We had to call them 3 times!! And finally after more then one 1 hour someone came. By the way fiji time " No Hurry No Worry"...... More

This guest tried to blackmail us for $8000 USD plus the full cost of their vacation. They were staying in a traditional grass hut Bure, they had medicine which was very attractive to mice, guests are told at check in, not to take open food or medicine into the grass huts, as being on a remote island there are small... Travelled as a family of four (kids 8 and 6). Stayed six nights, the first two days poured down with rain endlessly but that's just life! Great place, totally recommended. Good stuff: - Really lovely staff - Nice cocktails - The whole place feels low-key and boutique but not in a fancy way. - Snorkelling is awesome when the sea... More

We had a lovely time in a bure with private bathroom and bungalow with shared bathroom due to availability issues. The staff were great, very accomodating, the food packages was excellent with lots of choices. Beach access was great as was availability of activities and snorkelling gear. The only real downside was the lack of wifi - apparently it was... More

My wife and I stayed 6 nights in July and were extremely pleased with our decision to stay at Octopus. It was the perfect mix of laid back beach time and adventure. We stayed 3 nights in a private bungalow (with shared bathroom) and then moved to a garden bure for 3 nights (due to availability when booking). It was... More

We visited Octopus for 11 nights with our 4, 5 and 10 year old. We have been to a few resorts in Fiji now including Plantation, Hideaway and Amunuka (now Sheraton). What we loved most about Octopus and what made it different was: - it is has a really relaxed feel. The pace was just what we needed to unwind.... More

Our family of 4 including two teenage lads stayed for a week at the Octopus resort. We stayed at Poppy's bures which were stunningly set right on the waters edge. Fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Our rooms were fantastic and loved having our own private deck area for sitting either to have a break from the heat... More

Relaxing, beautiful, and ideal are the words that come to mind when I think about our holiday at Octopus. The facilities are well maintained and comfortable, the staff are kind, friendly, and efficient, and best of all - the food is FABULOUS! Such a huge range of choices for lunch makes every day an adventure, that's of course, if you... More
