We stayed at Octopus for 6 nights in Aug and loved it. We stayed in a Premium Garden Bure (8). It was clean and spacious and I loved the outdoor shower. We could see the ocean and it was wonderful to listen to the ocean at night. If you bring snacks leave them in the safe. I had some museli... More

The staff were amazing and so friendly. They loved our toddler and really looked out for him. We had a beach bure (#10) which was fabulous. No air con but it was comfortable enough at night with the fan in April. It looks so much nicer in person than in the photos. I was a little apprehensive after we booked... More

We loved it all - the welcome party, the beach, the gorgeous local people the food caought fresh from the reef, the service the friends we made. only one criticism- and that's of the island as a whole - not the resort- beyond the veneer of the resort and its surrounds we were horrified about the amount of litter we... Paradise! This is the perfect place for a relaxing break. The premium Beachfront Bures are amazing, with air conditioning and fans for those balmy evenings. The food is incredible: a perfect balance of traditional Fijian and more western food, with freshly caught fish an option every day. The thing that made it so special, however was the staff. They could... More

Fabulous golden beach, amazing snorkelling just steps from the resort, friendly staff and great food - if we ever came back to Fiji would would stay here again. We stayed in one of the bugalows which was a private room with shared bathroom facilities (which were always very clean). The resort also offers trips and activities - 100% would recommend... More

We arrived after a night in Nadi, via the Octopus's own transport. This boat is smaller than the Yasawa Flyer but only took 1.5 hours and came direct from the mainland straight to Octopus. I do get seasick but as it is open I felt fine. Arriving at the island we were meet by the obligatory welcome song and escorted... More

Unfortunately I can't say positive things about this resort. When we arrived in Fiji after a 10 hours flight with 3 kids, no one from the Hotel show up to pick up us. We had to call them 3 times!! And finally after more then one 1 hour someone came. By the way fiji time " No Hurry No Worry"...... More

This guest tried to blackmail us for $8000 USD plus the full cost of their vacation. They were staying in a traditional grass hut Bure, they had medicine which was very attractive to mice, guests are told at check in, not to take open food or medicine into the grass huts, as being on a remote island there are small... Travelled as a family of four (kids 8 and 6). Stayed six nights, the first two days poured down with rain endlessly but that's just life! Great place, totally recommended. Good stuff: - Really lovely staff - Nice cocktails - The whole place feels low-key and boutique but not in a fancy way. - Snorkelling is awesome when the sea... More

We had a lovely time in a bure with private bathroom and bungalow with shared bathroom due to availability issues. The staff were great, very accomodating, the food packages was excellent with lots of choices. Beach access was great as was availability of activities and snorkelling gear. The only real downside was the lack of wifi - apparently it was... More
