I just left this place 10 minutes ago and I couldn't wait to leave this review. I went there for one night and it was more than enough!! Everything is old, dirty and broken, food very bad for the price we paid, staff unfriendly and doesn't care about anything, I was the only guest and now I understand why!! They do not maintain anything at that resort, so many broken and unkempt things, The toilets were dirty and all the door can't be locked, When I told the manager about the issues she was angry about me and treated me poor, she offered me another room but didn't give me that. I didn't sleep I was all night awake and afraid, this place looks like a ghost hotel, After one horrible night I left that place, I more than dissapointed and felt more than cheated. Even if you are a low budget backpacker, this resort is just NOT ACCEPTABLE. PLEASE DON'T GO THERE 🙏

We've been sent there in July 2019 by a travel agent from Bamboo Backpackers Hostel at Nadi and it was so unbelievable horrible we had to quit our stay there after only one night. Everything is dirty and broken, trash and rubbish everywhere, food very bad for the price we paid, staff unfriendly and doesn't care about anything. They do not maintain anything at that resort, so many broken and unkempt things. We had stains of blood and pee (yellow!) on our sheets. When we told the manager about the issues she was angry about us and treated us bad, gave us another room and did not get better. After one horrible night we left that place. They even charged my credit card with amounts I can not retrace. We were more than dissapointed and felt more than cheated. I would call it a big trap! Even if you are a low budget backpacker, this resort is just NOT ACCEPTABLE.

From the moment we arrived at Coralview we felt so welcome. The staff at the resort are brilliant from the reception to the housekeepers, activity guys and kitchen staff! We stayed for 7 days in the 16 bed dorm which was the best dorm I have stayed in Fiji. They offer both dorm and private bure accommodation with loads of hammocks dotted around to chill out on. There is a paradise beach on one side of the island that we had to ourselves almost every day. Fantastic snorkelling right from the resort on the colourful reef and giant clams. A magical sunset walk with 360 views of a string of islands and reef systems. There is even two reefs that get great surf on a northern swell which the staff will take you to check on request. There is a happy hour before dinner which allows you to meet the other guests at the end of a day and we all became great friends pushing the tables together for dinner. The staff make the resort, the owners are incredibly lucky to have the wonderful people they have working for them and we wanted to say thanks again to all of them. At the end of our stay everyone even came out to take photos with us on their phones! Thank you for the great stay!

I will start this by addressing the most recent review, Coralview is not a 5 star resort, it's rustic accommodation that I think used to be more traditional Fijian Bures that have been renovated some time ago, I'm told they're closing soon to renovate to reopen in time for Christmas. The service is friendly, the food is amazing, and I highly recommend the blue lagoon snorkeling.

BUDGET BACKPACKERS ONLY! If you are looking for a honeymoon spot or want any level of comfort, Do NOT go here. There is a reason there are so many terrible reviews by people misled from the countless excellent reviews on this site. THIS IS NOT A RESORT and by no means should be considered to be luxurious or even 3-star, expect 1-2 star accommodation next to nice snorkelling. We arrived to the property with high expectations and found it to be uninhabitable. We were staying in their “bures” which are basically run down huts with no air conditioning, only ONE power outlet, sheets acting as doors held up by PVC for the toilet/shower, a broken window allowing gap of 12 inches into the bathroom, dirty sink, broken toilet seat, rusted mini fridge, pillows that felt like rat nests, holes in the door filled with chunks of metal, broken chairs, and flooded grounds around our hut which caused a sewage smell. When we walked around, we found most of these huts were not usable and we felt unsafe upon arrival as it was rainy season and any sort of storm seemed to be potential for full destruction. We attempted to depart upon arrival but the internet / WiFi was shut off for hours at a time and we were unable to receive contact from neighbouring resort. Refund was refused for remaining 2 nights and we had to pay out of pocket to escape. We were fortunate to be stuck here for only two meals. The protein is not fresh like other resorts who rely on fresh caught fish; the beef was unedible (my bad for ordering beef on an island but don’t offer it if it’s trash); stick to chicken/fish to choke down. Basically expect 1-2 star accommodation level food. Also nobody smiled and there was barely any chatter the entire meal. Just a very uncomfortable situation and you could tell the other guests shared similar unease and discomfort of where they are. Please note, this is not the employees’ fault and they are not to blame for the poor shape of the property. From what we understand, the cyclone that wrecked the place in 2012 seems to have been extensive and the rebuilding effort never really was completed nor done up to scratch. You will find a very rundown property and in dire need of renovation. The owners of the property should be ashamed of their business practices and overall condition of the accommodation, billing it as a 3-star “resort”. If you go, just remember, I tried to warn you. Spend a bit more and enjoy lodging across the water at any of the other true resorts.

We absolutely adore this place, from the beginning we exchanged a lot of emails with Tevita to organise our venue. It was perfect :pick up from hotel and then transfer plus boat. The team gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. The food was delicious and at a great price. All the Staff was so dedicated to make our stay enjoyable. We sadly left with an heavy heart and we will definitely visit again what we call our Fijian family.

Amongst the plethora of Fiji island resorts sits this oasis run by people that feel more like family than staff. You quickly submit to ‘Fiji time’ in that relaxation is not only encouraged, but unavoidable. Credits to Josh aka ‘King of the sea’ for showing us the real side of Fiji life. We’ll be taking your stories home with us for sure. By far our favorite island resort.

This resort was absolutely fantastic. The staff makes you feel like family. Some people did not want to pay for the side trips the resort offers for snorkeling and to the caves at blue lagoon, but they are completely and totally worth it. The knowledgable and friendly guides (we worked with Morgan) give you a fantastic time. The energy here is undeniable. If you ever travel to Fiji, this place is a must. (The only drawback is the long seabus ride to get to the resort, but once you're there it's truly worth it!)
