We can highly recommend the Blue Lagoon Resort for a relaxing getaway, as a couple, or a trip with friends. The resort is well kept, the rooms are a great place to relax and the 'open to the air' bathroom idea really appealed. The food...More
Blue Lagoon absolutely blew us away. We had seen pictures and read reviews but nothing can actually prepare you for how breathtakingly beautiful this place actually is. We got a seaplane transfer and i would seriously recommend this option as it was so quick, but...More
In 2013 I visited and stayed in a dorm (see previous review), in 2014 I stayed in a Garden Villa - fantastic, the resort being every bit as wonderful as I remembered. This time I stayed in Palm Villa 1.

Wonderful stay! Clean, good value for money, well organised activities, very friendly and helpful staff! Visited other resorts in the Yasawa Islands and the Coral Coast and Blue lagoon trumped! The highlight was the food! Five star! Did not expect it to be that good!...More

Hi - yes - you definately want to try to get to the islands for the more clear waters and soft sands. You would need to book now for the xmas period as maybe only a room or two left. You just board the boat at 8.30 am for the scenic cruise to the resort - arrive 12.45 in time for lunch! nice and easy . email the team from the website - they have the best last minute updates for blue lagoon.

I think, N1 is the closest to dive centre (quietest?), N5 is the closest to restaurant. The best to stay in Palm villa 2. Palm villas are perfect in any way. We stayed in Palm villa 1 - could hear swimming pool and bar music at night ( but I am crazy about noise). Usually it finishes after 9pm. Some idiotic young couple brought music at night to enjoy the swimming pool. I had to tell them to shut up. All other nights were o.k.
