"Antica Croce" is located in downtown Tenno, at the feet of the majestic Castle and opposite the ancient cross that gives it its name. The large landscaped garden that surrounds it is partly outfitted with a bar and open-air restaurant and leads guests into the reception and lounge, bar and dining rooms of the hotel. The interiors furnished in wood panelling and the large majolica-lined stove create a warm and elegant atmosphere. Guests are welcome to the large private parking area and covered garage, and on arrival will receive a card allowing them to enjoy free admission to Tenno's Tennis with its 2 courts just 100 m from the hotel and the use of mountain bikes for panoramic and charming excursions.

The hotel is perfectly positioned, it takes just 10 minutes to the main places of interest, like Riva del Garda, medieval Borgo of Canale di Tenno, Tenno lake and cosy town of Arco. And its placed in the center of the town of Tenno, that is cute and cosy itself, with its castle, narrow streets, old houses. The hotel is children friendly, they have cots, baby chairs and they can prepare for your child something different from the menu if you need. Also there is a playground in the garden of the hotel. The food is very great, breakfast has a bit of everything, sweet and salty. We took the half board plan and didn't regret, not only its money saving but also super tasty, there is choice of dishes and you can enjoy the specialities of the region of Trentino. Rooms are simple, a bit tired, but have everything necessary, quite spacious to put the cot and still have enough space around. Also there is free parking just in front of the hotel, only for the hotel and restaurant guests. Just on front of the hotel there is the church, and the bells are quite heard.

Ok hotell. Nice straff. Great view. Near by you could find a lookout place where you can also see Garda. If you live here, please also visit the near by lake Lago di Tenno. The room was good, but you can quite clearly hear the neighbours.

We stayed here one night after visiting Lake Guarda and then on to our to see the Neuschwanstein Castle. It was my husband and I and my adult son. We reserved a two bedroom, one bathroom. My son also had his dog along and they accepted her as well. The hotel is next to a castle and had a fantastic view of Tenno. We were going to hike to a higher lake but I declined due to the distance of hiking. I am 65 and I sometimes have trouble with hip pain. We ate at the hotel that night and the food was delicious. I had an earthy barley soup and bread and tiramisu. The next morning, we had a free breakfast buffet. It was okay - not great. My husband and I are Americans and he was offered an egg and they made it for him which made him happy. My son lives in Italy and he was fine with the breakfast offered. I had some yogurt and a roll. Overall - the views were great and the food very good. I would stay again.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! The staff where all very friendly and accommodating! They even helped book a taxi for us to be picked up and dropped off at Mori train station! The food was really nice and the morning buffet was very fresh and delicious! Just up the road is a bus stop going into Lake Garda and just opposite the hotel is a pathway that leads you down by foot (wear trekking shoes!) and also a few look out points near by! You can also walk to Laggio di Tenno from the hotel or catch a bus! Would totally recommend!

We spent two nights here, it's up out of Lake Garda, so considerably cheaper, but lovely hosts, clean room, a good breakfast... We ate in the restaurant too, and the food is good too... So all said and done, good value for money, would happily return.

What a little gem this hotel was. The room was simple but comfortable, the room looked out to a beautiful castle to the left and directly in front was an old farmhouse. we had lunch which was absolutely delicious with a nice glass of prosecco. in the evening we realised just after 9 that we did not have dinner, we asked and were told the kitchen closed at 9pm, we said we were happy to have a sandwich but we were told we could have lasagna, we did and it was delicious. The only downside was that as with most hotels/guesthouses in italy, there are no kettles to make a cup of tea or coffee.

Stayed for a few nights mid-week in July in one of the rooms at the back. Beautiful location with super-friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean but fairly basic and very noisy. As it's on a hairpin/junction the traffic is really noisy.

I arrived at the hotel and it was set right in the mountains. A beautiful spot, however only accessible if you have a car. The hotel management were really friendly and gave my keys and I went up to my room. When I opened the door the room was completely pitch black, which I found very unwelcoming. The room smelt muffled and old, the floor was covered in an ugly dated office style carpet (which literally must of been years old as it had faded marks). The furniture looked nothing like the furniture on the website. The bathroom was clean but hideous, again nothing like trip advisor or what I'd seen on booking.com. I took photographs of my room because the hotel management said it was non-refundable and I have since complained to booking.com. I am upset that the hotel haven't tried to give me any money back as they shouldn't be charging that for a room that is nothing like the others. I left the hotel without staying and they then told booking.com that I hadn't showed up (again not true). I have insisted that booking.com go and investigate, I was given room 10. Images to follow.

This is so nice place as a hotel and restaurant. Rooms are fine. Staff is great and helpful. Delicious italian food at restaurant which is highly recommended! It's also a good idea to check prices and options to stay at this hotel at their own web-site as it has much more attractive and cheaper options compared to booking.com for instance. The hotel is located in a very nice place with magnificent views and surroundings. Very close to Garda lake but not only, also to Tenno lake, which is very worth to visit as well. Locals come for dinner at Croce restaurant, which I find a sign for good quality. We stayed with a 2 y.o. child, he also was happy to have a child playground directly next to the restaurant, so it isn't boring for children to sit at the restaurant, one can combine playing and eating. The hotel/restaurant has a free parking both in front of the entrance and behind the building. I am thankfull to the owners so much for a pleasant time spent in this beautiful hotel with great food provided in the restaurant.
