I have very mixed feelings about this place. First of all, for someone from western Europe, it is very cheap.. That we like. But then again, I would rather have paid more for at better experience. First of, you need really really need to master at least Russian to have any enjoyment of your stay. I speak 6 languages quite well, and a couple more quite badly. The "good ones" include English, German and Spanish, but this did not help me. At all. So if you do not speak Lithuanian or at least Russian, this is not the place for you. The treatments individually are the same price as the much nicer places in the city. But the package price - we had the extra large package with 6 treatments a day is a steal. Though some of the treatments are weird and I'm not sure what they are good for? Even my russian friend couldn't figure it out. (Inhalations, bubbly tea and halo (salt grotto) I'm looking at you). We did get a lot of great treatments too.. But we had to "fight" for them, as the first doctor we were appointed, didn't speak an understandable English OR Russian and just assigned random things and wouldn't let us try a lot of things that was listed as included in the package. But doctor number two spoke great english and was very accommodating. The booking staff also did not master English. We stayed for a total of 16 nights and every other day we had 30 minutes of massage. Waste. Of. Time. The massage therapists explained to my friend (Again, the language thing) that they have 20 clients a day, so can't really use any energy on either of them, because they would be too worn out themselves. We even had some really weird experiences. One massage guy first spend 5 minutes looking through my booking pamphlet and then started "massaging" in a very "wax on / wax off" way. If I had been a car, my back (only part massaged for the 2 weeks) would have been as shiny as a the day I left the factory. My friend had the exact same experience. Other things were good. Generally anything lead by a physiotherapist is recommendable: Water gymnastics, foam roller, vibrating plate, red cord. And also the under water massage (my favourite). The women performing that also seemed to be the ones who liked their job the most. Food. Wooo - that requires a whole review of its own. (Food is included in the stay) Let me just say that my Russian friend disliked it less than me. But still disliked it a lot. And it didn't seem fit for a spa/health place. All in all. Am I sorry I went. NO - it was such an interesting experience! (A lot of the time I did not know what would happen to me or why..). Would I do it again? Probably not..

We spent 2 nights here with all of the procedures included and I couldn’t be more happy. The staff was really nice and friendly, the atmosphere is amazing and I felt super relaxed after the stay. The room was clean and tidy, everything is reachable within walking distance and you don’t need to leave the building to go from one place to another. Will definitelly visit again!

I had booked three nights to stay here, left after one!!! Terrible customer service, when we came in, we had to wait for a couple minutes while the staff will finish to talk with each other, we’ve been served by the lady which was in training (also there was two other ladies, one of them was not polite at all, as I can guess that she was the boss there. my friend asked didn’t we paid? as she had thought that when she had sent her bank details, she had been charged, the lady answered no, it is going to be charged now, then my friend apologised because she thought in a wrong way and just wanted to double check, and the lady sarcastically repeated her words ‘oh didn’t we paid?’ and started to laugh, it made us feel horrible... they started to put our information in, it took very long (as the staff member was in training) so we went to grab our luggage, came back and they still was working on it. It took about 40-50 minutes all together, because the new girl was doing all the registration by herself. she didn’t asked and also didn’t received any help, even she was obviously struggling with that! I believe if the fully trained person would be next to her it would took about 15 minutes to be checked in. As we got the customer cards no one even lead us to the room, (lady didn’t even know where is the room) she just said there is the lift, third floor, you will find it by yourself. Also she explained that the pool is opened in evening, and in the morning time, but probably you not going to use it as YOU ARE TO YOUNG TO BE ABLE TO WOKE UP and go the morning one, haha. Thats it, no more information about anything. In the late evening we sorted out that there is the leaflet with prices of procedures, as we didn’t got any information from reception. We took it by ourself, then the next day we went to register for all the chosen procedures, AND WE COULDN'T GO TO ANY OF THERE, because you need to go to see the doctors first (15€) and just then start to choose the procedures (even as mud bath, relaxing massage or psychologist). In one word - you just need to have an extra extra extra €€€. Then we realised that we can’t actually do anything here apart laying down in the bed all day for ~300€, we packed our bags and went to do the check out at the reception. When its been done she asked us why are we are rushing (as we supposed to check out only on friday) we explained her that we can’t stay here longer as we paid loads of money for absolutely nothing (one night in a box size room, pool and lunch buffet) then she printed us about 3xA4 sheets with free activities here! Only after we decided to leave! Also she didn’t even mentioned about any refund back before we kindly asked her is the any way to get the money back? She just pretended that she will try to do her best and gave us back 60€. Overall, Thanks for discriminating young adults, as it felt like we shouldn’t receive a proper service! Is that a new rule?

We spent 2 nights with family. We were hoping for better service as we got it. Recommendation for future guests: rooms do not have air conditioning, it was very hot at night. The rooms were very small, we were two adults and a child, it was very uncomfortable for the child to sleep. Does not change towels. Surrounding patients gives the impression of a hospital. The pool is very crowded if you want to swim peacefully.

I liked food at the sanatorium restaurant. Rooms were OK, except dead flies in a lamp and no air conditioning. The sanatorium is huge. Procedures were scheduled in a strange way, sometimes we were on rush for to have lunch or dinner, other cases were with a breaks for an hour. Don't be late to procedures because they'll be lost. In general I can't recommend this place for relaxing SPA weekend - the facilities and infrastructure are in place, but understanding how to create atmosphere is missing.
