If Monet were to paint water lilies at night then no better place than to paint from the terrace of H Resort's Trader Vics with a background of birds singing their hearts out. Gardens of the hotel are beautiful,and well kept with the majestic mountains in the background. Then you have the beautiful white sandy beach on the other side of the hotel steps from your room. Our suite room was enormous with very comfortable bed, top quality sheets and even a pillow menu. Great housekeeping always room cleaning, copious bottled water etc. Our room had a terrace and sofa for two overlooking the gardens. Beautiful spa with a huge sauna and modern gym. The beach area although public is kept spotless and not single piece of plastic or rubbish. Turn up for the weekly cocktails held by Johannes the GManager to meet him and his team, who are are passionate about delivering the best and they love their island. Buffet breakfast is at Vascos with your feet almost in the sand and the breaking of the waves. A big thank you to Samuel on the Egg Station and his colleague for making me Eggs Benedict or super omelettes. There is a wide variety of dishes and non-stop great coffee. Breakfast served between 7am to 11am with never any sense of being rushed to finish and the buffet pretty much full and tidy until the last minute. So important for other time zone travellers and getting a lie-in. Thank you all at H. We had a great rest and have come back (very reluctantly), but so refreshed.

We chose this place based on trying to find a reasonable priced room directly on the beach and this was perfect for the time we traveled. Although pricey, it did have an amazing breakfast included. Went to Trader Vic's for dinner and the fried rice was amazing and they had live music and dancing. Seyshima was ok, was expecting so much more then the typical Benihana type show, but they did exactly the same thing but more $. The buffet style was very pricey for people who don't eat much but tons of choices. The pool area was lovely with a bar right besides it, the Mai Tai's were delicious, just wish they always tasted the same with different bartenders. The pool is only a short walk to the beach and it was incredible to be floating in the pool or ocean and see the large fruit bats flying overhead. The beach was fabulous with perfect viewing of the sunset with lounge chairs. Loved that the trees over hang the beach, so you can sit in the shade if you like. The front desk was helpful with booking tours for the day and arranging cabs to go to town. The room was spacious, just be prepared when you go with family that the bathroom toilet area and shower have glass doors with only the bottom half frosted glass. Overall we were very happy with our decision to stay at the H Resort. You can't go the the Seychelles and not stay on the beach, some places are worth splurging for. We saw the sunset every night and each night it looked completely different with amazing colors, just lovely!!

Wow, if you like to enjoy your vacation at the highest standard it’s definitely your place! In regards to cleaning I have never been to such a clean and nicely decorated hotel! You can see it in the small details like the toiletries and the soft and ironed towels, the high-quality pillows (as a lady with allergies the special excellent anti-allergenic pillows!) The room is equipped with everything you might need, an espresso machine with capsules, tea, hair dryer, slippers and a cozy robe. We stayed in a bungalow on the sea with a private and clean pool with heated water and a spectacular view of the sea! We enjoyed having breakfast by our private pool and spending the day on the double bed by the pool. The most difficult dilemma was whether to jump into the stunning pool or walk on the private beach a few meters away and to enjoy the ocean. Regarding the food: The hotel has several restaurants from different cuisines and each and one of them surprised me with the high standards of the chefs! We tried different restaurant during each evening and definitely enjoyed the experience! If you want to enjoy a meal with a private chef or eat in a restaurant with local delicacies is definitely recommended and very tasty (: The hotel stuff was kind, helpful, assisted us in any question or concern we had and made us feel so home during the Christmas week! As I mentioned before the small details.. let me share with you one gesture that warmed my heart very much! At the end of the festive and super tasty Christmas dinner! With tables full of all the best of the best cuisines in the world. A small red sock was waiting for us on the doorknob full with cookies and sweets . And it was definitely the most lovely gift we received in this holiday.(thank you to the amazing stuff at the H resort!! In regards to hotels my standards are high as a traveler, and I can tell you one thing The H Resort Beau Vallon introduced me to the highest level of hotels that you can find..! It’s definitely worth the stay and I’m waiting for my next winter vacation in Seychelles 🤩
