We stayed overnight and ate in the restaurant. There are only about 8 rooms which are beautifully appointed. The receptionist gave us a friendly welcome and showed us to our suite. There was a bedroom and bathroom downstairs and an open plan lounge area upstairs. The decoration was very tastefully done in creams and pale grey. There was a coffee...

I am not sure that I fully understand what Michelin stars represent so can't judge whether or not this establishment merits it. I can say for certain that the all round experience we had to celebrate our recent anniversary was among the best we have ever experienced. The food was absolutely wonderful, the service was outstanding, friendly and well informed,...

Requested a surprise as part of a birthday celebration, this was clearly not communicated and was subsequently forgotten about, one of the dishes on the taster menu was a Duck Egg which was served in as "under" a state as I have ever seen any egg plated, uncooked Albumen poured from the breaded egg when I cut into it (both...

We stayed here on a 2 night Hogmanay package. The rooms are lovely, split-level with a sitting/dining area in the upper part. The bed was very comfortable and overall the room had everything you could possibly want including complementary sherry, jar of chocolate brownies, binoculars, a draughts game set, umbrella etc. The bathroom looked very modern and possibly recently refurbished...

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The room's were spacious and all the little extras made it that bit more special (lovely coffee and brownies, sherry, champagne and chocolate truffles in the room). Very nice view of the garden which we enjoyed having breakfast in the room. Of course the meal in the restaurant was incredible which I have...

This hotel feels like a quality establishment in every respect. Reception was personal and attentive. The majority of the rooms are on two floors - bed, bath and closet on the lower level, sitting room with dining table on the upper level. Both require a small flight of stairs so if this is an issue, I believe they have one...

A comfortable quite spot in Fife, this is a draw for locals and visitors alike. Wonderful comfortable setting in an extended old inn with a welcoming fire in the lounge on arrival. Easy to sip a glass of champagne as the difficult decisions are made on the menu. Good Scottish ingredients are a foundation for the cuisine. I enjoyed the...

Possibly the best restaurant in Scotland with the Three Chimneys. Superb with prices to match. Disappointment is not an option! Presentation is first class as are the waiting staff. All the ingredients seem to be locally sourced including the beer.

We were given a voucher for this restaurant as a special present as it was on our must dine places.Wow we were impressed from the time we stepped into this beautiful establishment.
