Chosen after reading Trip Advisor reviews and this didn’t disappoint. Immaculately clean, lovely food and polite staff. Would totally recommend - fabulous little cafe! Generous portions of tasty, fresh food. Staff are very attentive and were also happy to give local tourist information.

My family and I stayed in this 7 person villa just after New Year. It was impeccably clean and well presented and furnished. We had everything we needed and more. The staff were amazing, helpful and polite. We will definitely go back given the chance.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and baby girl on a mini birthday vacation. We stayed in Villa 8 which is the 2nd to last villa at the top. We totally enjoyed our stay and it was very comfortable and clean which is great when you have an 8month old baby. While we totally enjoyed the vacation, there were several pros and cons which I think is worth mentioning. Pros: - very spacious. We took the master bedroom on the ground floor and there was a lot of space especially in the patio. - fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances - very clean and tidy which made it safe for baby girl to crawl around on the floors. - privacy and peacefulness around the villa and pool was great Cons: - View was obscured with overgrown scrubs. For the price of these villas, we expected to have an awesome view. If the surroundings were properly maintained, I'm sure the view would be awesome. - pool was deeper than 1.3m as indicated. This was disappointing for us since we couldn't sit and relax in the pool with the baby as we liked. - outdoor patio umbrella was shredded and provided no shade so we couldn't use the patio in the daytime with the baby. See photo attached - Maintenance needed on the patio walls. Moss was seen on the walls making it less appealing - they do not provide a crib as mentioned on the website. They provide a playpen without a mattress or base board. We brought our own mattress so that baby had a comfortable place to sleep.

Myself, husband and son are staying in villa 14 at Stonehaven Villas. The villa is very well equipped with everything that you would need. We have done a mix of bbq and cooking in the villa and eating at the local restaurants. Seahorse, waves and Fish pot all walkable distance from the villa and on the way back is a great ice cream place which has now become part of our routine walking back to the villa in the evening. Our housekeeper comes in from around 9am-10am each day and will make sure everything is spotless. If you need any washing doing during your stay then again she will do this for you although their is a washing machine and dryer in the villa if you wanted to do it yourself. She is also available to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner at an extra charge and will either use your food or will source it for you. The welcome hamper has everything you need to keep you going for your first couple of days, eggs, massive fruit basket, milk, cheese, bread and bacon. The pavilion restaurant on site - we ate a couple of times here throughout our stay (normally Sundays as not much else is open) but the roti, kutchela, fish curry OMG it was like being back with my Trinidadian aunties cooking for us. Just to note the villas are on a steep hill and whilst we walked up and down it every day, some may struggle. If it’s worth it for the ocean views and amazing infinity pools. The second day we went to get supplies and were advised to go to Penny Savers supermarket which was ok but now I know where the locals get their food I wouldn’t go back. Fresh fruit and salad items, roadside huts, fish market 5-6pm mount Irvine or any beach road hut around 4pm-6pm each day. Sunday most things are closed unless you go into Scarborough. Something nice to do on a Sunday evening is Sunday school at Buccoo 9-9-30pm start, not a religious event but more a steel band orchestra. We ate in the Maraku restaurant prior to Sunday school which overlooks the ocean and where the pans are being set up. Great authentic food, as with many Caribbean islands they like to feed you, so we really struggled with both a starter and a main Mosquito repellent is a must in rainy season. We are here now and although it is the rainy season it tends to rain at night and early morning. The down pots we have had during the day are torrential but only last for a short burst and then it’s brilliant sunshine again. Lots of excursions to do, most brochures are in the villa and reception will book everything for you. We are having an amazing time here and would certainly choose Stonehaven again when we return.
