Just returned from a week in Tobago staying at this lovely hotel.. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean and spacious. We didn’t visit the gym but it was very popular with locals so must have been decent. Lovely beach right on the doorstep, although it doesn’t get any shade in the afternoons so we strolled down the road to Mount Irvine beach a few times where we took advantage of the reasonably priced sun beds for hire from Pablo. We stayed on a B&B basis (why would you go all inclusive when you have a whole island of food to enjoy?!) and the breakfast was great, good range of local food mixed with home comforts like bacon and beans. There was also an incredible omelette chef! I think her name was Sandra. Spa, pool and pool facilities (bar and showers) were all clean and well maintained. Free towels given out at reception. We would recommend eating at the nearby Waves bar, the Seahorse (bit more upmarket, fab food and very pretty outdoor setting) and a small local fish restaurant 5mins walk away called the Fish Pot. All served fresh food and excellent rum punch! We had a fab stay, thank you.

Definitely 5stars from us👍we loved this place, absolutely fantastic staff,VERY special mention to Michelle...such a hard working lovely lady during breakfast and lunches😀where would you be without her!!Sandra...fab breakfasts,Joe misses his banana pancakes but hope you loved my tuna!Anthony at the pool bar, can’t beat your Pina Coladas😋😋Chrystal there too,so friendly and full of local information, great tips on fishing...paid a visit to Stumpeys,Thanks👍😂 and Krystal in the main bar, would love to see you in Primark👍😂😂,anyway all the staff are super fab and make you feel really welcome, room very spacious, kept super clean throughout our 2week stay, best air conditioning ever, super white towels and great shower. Not a lot happens here except for complete relaxation and peace,if you want loud music, night time entertainment and party atmosphere, you would be better somewhere else, most people here have their evening meal and retire to bed😂😂we LOVED it,the heat is quite exhausting from the early hours but if you want to drink in the bar it’s open late or easy to get in a taxi and go local to find a bar.SO much to do if you want to get out and do it,we went out to sea and caught tuna, rode horses that swam in the sea, watched a leatherback turtle lay her eggs on the beach in front of the hotel....fished some more...swam like fish and chilled a lot too,THANKS Le Grande Courlan,we had an amazing time and felt we could have had another two weeks here, met some lovely other guests.Just had to mention,we don’t smoke, but were told when we booked this hotel that you had a NO SMOKING policy but there are designated places to smoke, also on the welcome letter when we checked in it states this too...and also the $250 fine if you wanted to risk smoking in your room(which I agree with.. includes the balcony)ONLY because if you are a non smoker and you booked this hotel for this reason you would be pretty P’d sitting on your balcony watching the glorious sunset breathing in someone’s smoke!!!So anyone booking this should take this into consideration...you were warned👍Did I mention the sunsets...breathtaking😍😍Food was all lovely, breakfast buffet,a la Carte lunch and dinner, afternoon tea 3-5pm...we were A.I but if only b&b food could be quite expensive but some great local restaurants,if you like fish,so much to choose from and very reasonably priced. No mozzies I’m glad to say,was bitten once the night before I came home and they love me😂.Soa treatment superb,we had three complimentary ones each, its another world down there in the Spa,you have to visit....the beach is vast, super sand and deserted, not a sun lounger in sight...just had the best time ever,we WILL definitely return for all the above reasons❤️❤️

This is a lovely hotel in exquisite position on one of the best beaches in Tobago. We had a fantastic first week with great food, a number of other bars in walking distance for a bit of variety, lovely pool with bar, and very friendly staff. We had a large room on the seafront with a great balcony. The beach is large enough for a nice walk, the waves sometimes large enough for the local children to come body boarding, but we could always get in for a swim. Good snorkelling along the rocks. Second week the Corona virus hit, and the hotel followed the governments rules which was to not serve alcohol and to not use the restaurant. It was not so much fun, but they continued to look after us well and keep us informed of the global pandemic and how that would effect us. We highly recommend this hotel, and its beautiful beach.

Poor food choice. Food cold.poor serving method.cakes served on top of fried egg.No water in toilet tap, reported but nothing changed.Lacked leadership. Wild dogs roaming. Not secure, gate open at back of hotel. General manager didn't take suggestions well, infact told other guests details of our conversation to turn them against us.Many other nice hotels in Tobago, avoid this one.

We stayed for 10 nights all inclusive but was cut short due to Corona virus. Special mention to Sandra the chef, superb and very helpful. Also the pool barman, Eure, I think! Once the bars and restaurants were shut, supposedly due to regulation, we were fed cold food in cardboard boxes (photo supplied) with a plastic fork to eat with no knife, and no alcohol. Even though other hotels stayed on all inclusive due to the law not applying to hotels with guests(photo supplied) we suggested that alcohol could be given to us to consume in our rooms this was flatly refused by the general manager. Extremely unhelpful and un accommodating, she was unable to cope with the situation that we all found ourselves in. Suggested a few things to help, tin foil dishes to keep food warm, hand sanitizer, don’t use the same pen to sign for food with all guests, staggered meal times for collection of COLD food to adhere to social distancing, all ignored! Cakes thrown on top of fried eggs in the breakfast box. we asked for plates and cutlery to eat our food with in our room, refused! Once we had realised that other hotels in Tobago had continued with all inclusive we asked to speak to the manager and politely asked for these amenities to be started again, she accused me of accosting her and called the police! Disgraceful! She should never work in customer service again. such a shame for the reception staff that they have to suffer her very poor management. complete fabrication when the police arrived even the other staff looked embarrassed. Never been treated like that before in over 30 years of all inclusive holidaying and would advise everyone to steer clear of this hotel!
