Property's Favorite Review
We rented 5 of the 6 villas for our very large family. Every house was exactly the same and perfectly cozy! I have never had nicer staff who were pleasant and went the extra mile to ensure we felt well taken care of. It is one of the few places in Tobago that allows for walking distance beach access (safely), with a pool and 'hotel type' service while remaining a villa. It was the prefect hybrid. We even walked to the Seahorse Inn for dinner one night (3 min walk). We needed a doctor and the hotel information was supportive in finding one.

Even before the pandemic and a hankering for somewhere easy on the soul and the mind, Plantation Beach Villas was where I would wish I could be. We've been going to PBV, every year for 9 years and on and off for some years before that. We are very fortunate and also travel to other places in the world, particularly Europe but we always look forward to our arrival at PBV and hearing those 2 lovely words from Sean "Welcome home!" Fortunately, we were able to make our annual visit this year, before it became unwise to travel and we already have a reservation for 2021. The well maintained villas are perfect little replicas of plantation houses of old but with all the modern conveniences. Each villa has a veranda on which one could spend the day reading, listening to the waves and the birds and relaxing. The villas which are beautifully and comfortably furnished are serviced daily by very efficient and extremely courteous villa attendants. With a stunning beach and the Caribbean Sea only steps from the villas, a refreshing pool and the perfect beach bar on the path to the beach ... everything is at hand. The vegetation, animal and sea life of Tobago is varied and very interesting. The tourist bureau has done a lot to promote showcasing the natural assets of the island in an eco-friendly way. In recent years very good restaurants have popped up all over Tobago. We often walk the 5 minutes up to "the village" to treat ourselves to fantastic local food. This year, an ice cream shop opened and the ice cream is amazing.

We’ve just spent a lovely week here in Alamanda, a lovely villa a minute from the pool and a wonderful beach. The villa was spacious and we were very well looked after by Nadine. There are restaurants in walking distance by road or beach. We visited Little Tobago, Pigeon Point and played golf at Magdalena. There are many places to visit and if you like birds, blue motmots, tanagers, fly catchers, bare eyed thrush, doves etc will visit your verandah. We should have stayed longer.

Hi Janec, It was a pleasure having you all here with us. We try our best not just for guests to enjoy our facilities, but to actually get out and enjoy all that Tobago has to offer. The Bonus being after a day of exploring you do have the option of staying in and having your Villa Attendant have dinner waiting for you, when it is convenient for you. The area surrounding our villas has also become a beehive of activity with the best eating options on the island, from Bake & Buljol, to Roti, Pizza or the 3 best restaurants on the island, and a great spot to enjoy local ice cream and other deserts, all in walking distance the options are endless. You're right though, a week is not enough, hope to see you again soon.

Spent a very relaxing week at Plantation Bay villas, which are well run in a friendly relaxed manner by Fionna and Sean. You have access to the sea and the lovely long beach at Grafton Bay but with the pleasant alternative of using the villas’ own private pool and bar(!)
