Birdie's Nest holiday apartments are a gem, tucked away beside the beach on the Caribbean coast of Tobago, at Great Courland Bay. Located at the end of a country lane, our apartment house is quiet and secluded, but not remote. Far away enough away from the village to hear just the sound of the birds and the ocean, yet near enough to enjoy the village steelband, a Carib beer at the local "rum shop", or church on Sunday! This is the real West Indies. The real Tobago. This is Birdie's Nest. Birdie's Nest beach house sits on the shoreline, facing the sea. It is perched on a slight slope and enjoys a clear, cool, elevated view of the beach and the ocean. It is a typical two-storey West Indian house, divided into three beach holiday apartments. A single two-bedroom apartment occupies the entire upper floor of the house. The lower floor is divided into two one-bedroom self-contained apartments with lockable dividing door enabling them to be converted into another spacious two-bedroom accommodation when required.

We have just come back from a weeks stay at Birdies Nest and can honestly say it was fantastic! Prince went above and beyond for us, and especially with the current pandemic he was always checking our travel plans to make sure we were okay and would be able to get home. He gave us recommendations of places to visit and sorted out a great little jeep for us to tour around the island. Will absolutely be staying here again in the future. Thanks again Prince & Princess! Georgia, Katy & Colette :)

When I saw photos of Birdie's Nest, I knew immediately that this was the perfect place for me. I would have stayed my entire stay here if it was available. As it was Prince and his mother Princess worked for hours so I could check in a day early for a 4 night stay in the upper 2BR/2BA unit. Large living room with cable TV and a view of the Caribbean. A nicely appointed kitchen, large BR and large bath. Upstairs you have your own patio and your own deck with a view. Downstairs is an infinity pool and a nice patio and yard right over the ocean waves. At night even with all doors and windows closed, the waves came through to give me a restful sleep. Good restaurants and beaches are minutes away by car. What makes this place special? The unending attention and work of Prince Robinson. He also provided me with a very nice and reasonable rental car which he delivered to the upper end of the island to where i was staying before I came to his place. Once I was at Birdie's Nest he was there to arrange anything I wanted, provide me with any information. He is very proud of his business and works hard to make it so. I made the perfect choice.

I really recommend this car rental ! My boyfriend and I went to Tobago in October 2019 and from the very beginning Prince was very nice, responsive and accommodating. We had to change our vehicle by a 4x4 last minute and he made it happen even though they were all booked out. He offered to pick us up at the airport and also gave us a discount for the 2 week rental which is always appreciated :) All in all, everything went well, you can definitely count on those guys. Thanks a lot for your professionalism and kindness.

We stayed with prince and princess 6 years ago now. Myself and my children still rave about what a fantastic experience we had at birdies nest. I can’t say enough about this place but I will try. Firstly prince is fantastic. He truly cares about his guests and makes it his mission to ensure you enjoy your vacation to the fullest. He is helpful, kind, knowledgeable and really enjoys seeing his guests happy. We stayed for three weeks over Christmas. The property was clean and in an amazing location. You are directly on one of the beaches but if you travel up the road 5 minutes and travel through a small local village there is a beautiful cove with shallower, calmer waters and snorkeling directly off the beach. There is a wonderful little restaurant right off the beach. A small shop to purchase beers. It is just lovely. The locals. Well the people here are so kind and welcoming. My children made friends with some of the local children. We were invited to join them for there New Years block party and fireworks on the beach. That was my favourite part of the vacation. We really got to experience Tobago. The people. The culture. The daily life. When you stay in a regular hotel you just don’t truly experience your surroundings. At birdies nest you could. We felt safe enough to stroll around freely. My children played in the surrounding areas with the other children. We walked to the local stores. Bought fresh breads, roti and fried chicken right from peoples homes — prince can direct you to The best Roti on the island ! ( people are lined up waiting at her doorstep Things we did were endless; Glass bottoms boat Sailboat trip Snorkeling at the beach Day trip to pigeon point Travelled on the city bus to another beach Petting zoo Rented a car and drove to the other side of the island found a beach and relaxed for the afternoon Walked down and watched the fisherman pull Shopped at roadside fruit stalls Learned to cook authentic curried chicken Walked down to where the surfers were (30 min) there was food vendors and the kids built sandcastles. There was one evening a week where they had a steel drum street party a short cab ride away. We brought a kite price showed us a large field where we could use it. There was other people doing the same thing too that day. So much more I could go on and on about what a beautiful place this is. But don’t take my word for it GO, EXPERIENCE Tobago.
