A wonderful view in a cosy and wonderful setting. Nice food and a very comfortable room with a veranda added to a unforgettable new year's holiday. The beach is right in front of the inn and waking up with the sun to walk in the sand was just perfect.

An unexpected overwhelming stay! I was just ending a tour in Brazil, thinking I'd quickly book "something" for the last days, but it couldn't have been any better! Amazing food. Quiet relaxing place. Super hotel hosts. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed for five nights. Highlights include the restaurant particularly for lunch or dinner (breakfast is ok). Very good food, in fact. Some of the servers were great (Chocolate, in particular). But some servers were not that helpful (i.e., forgetting to cancel a cancelled order not good, but remedied at checkout, so no major worries there). The view is fantastic. The place is right on the sand. Swimming pool is small, but nice. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. All that alone would award more than an Average rate. However... Lowlights include a less than exclusive service (we had to chase servers for pool service most of the times). Smiling? Not available most of the times. Flexibility for making a customized meal? They had to obtain approval from management (really?). Quality of services seemed to improve when owners were present. If services improve it will easily be Very Good and perhaps Excellent. Not there yet, though. Another lowlight is the fitness room and the poor maintenance in the garden which surrounds it.

What a wonderful family Christmas for adults and children. Eight of us spend an idillic week at this great family run hotel. Bare foot luxury even Christmas dinner without shoes! The sea, the pool, the food and most of all the staff were all fantastic. Head waiter Chocolate was a real star. Our thanks to Arno and his wife Iola for all their hospitality . We will certainly be back for our fourth visit.

This year's new year's eve was my third time at Pousada Jambo. I have to say that it was definitely not worth the price I paid. The great thing about the place is that it is located in front of the beach, and the staff is very friendly and they always try to make things more comfortable for all the guests. But there are some things I didnt like: they only had 2 waiters at the restaurant, so one night the hotel was fully booked (which they should have known) and the waiters got a lot of orders mixed up and the bill was confusing. Another thing is that, even though the rooms were cleaned every morning, they didnt seem to clean up the floor. The towels were terrible (looked like 5 or 10 years old), and the food wasnt too good for the price charged. My family has some history with Itacimirim and the pousada Jambo, but I'm not planning on coming back.

We stayed just one night in Pousada Jambo and the place is great to relax. Just in front of the beach, the pousada is worth compare with the prices in Praia do Forte (a tourism place 15 minutes away from Pousada Jambo by car). The room was really nice and clean. The only negative point was the breakfast. That wasn't little variety for the price that we paid. Also, there is no parking, but it is really easy to park in front or close to the pousada. The receptionist was really friendly and alowed as to stay to a late check out.

Pousada Jambo is the prettiest place I have ever seen. It is located straight at the Beach with clear blue, very warm watet. We went for a swim every morning before breakfast. Breakfast is too good to be true - better as in every hotel we stayed. We loved Dinner at the terrace straight at the beach and could not get enough of the homemade moqueca. The Pousada is run by a German - Brasilian Family - very lovely people with a big focus on good Service! Excellent!!!

Besides the very personalised service the view combined with a delicious breakfast makes the pousada Jambo one of the best of its kind! Not mentioning that the beach is one of the most beautiful in Brazil! Insider: the "moceca" is THE best I had in Brazil!

It has a very good location, just in front of the beach. The rooms are simple, but good and clean. The breaksfat is okay, but if you want to have lunch or dinner in the restaurant, be prepared to wait. Overall, the place is nice and the beach is wonderful.

A beautiful landscape, very quiet and near of the beach, but very, very expensive. The rooms are comfortable and simple. The bathroom are small and with out amenities. The breakfast was good, but aren't little varied.
