This is an exceptional hotel with large and comfortable rooms in a wonderful region. Just a place to dream and relax. Friendly staff, family run, you feel at home immediately. Located in a small village in the Südheide.

Posthotel is No 1 in Mueden, rooms are very nice, but look for room to garden side as street side can be little noisy in the morning due to type of street (stone blocks). Price little elevated for the area but nice rooms and excellent breakfast at low cost. To relax use sauna which is excellent - but be aware:...

This was our first stop on a round trip around Germany on motorbike. The hotel is remotely located, however for one night or weekend get-away it is the perfect spot. Spacious rooms, with high standard, clean, very friendly staff, top restaurant (try the course menu) and beautiful gardens which was extremely well kept.
