Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband, 5 year old and 4 month old.. I booked a 2 bed "cottage ". The cottage we stayed in was very dated and had a very musty smell.. the bedroom downstairs had 2 single beds and 1 double bed in it and is very tight space wise. the bedroom upstairs Is extremely... I had three rooms booked for one night and the descriptions I had were intriguing. I read reviews that were confusing as some were bad and some excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable which was the main aim, however, a stuffed red squirrel on the landing was a bit random! Maybe quirky is the best description of Rathmore.

This place is miles from anywhere and you have to drive or get a taxi if you want to eat out. There is no on-sight bar or restaurant and the place is geared up for self catering or bed and breakfast. It does give the impression that it is a nice quiet get away from it all kind of place,... More

After a very long drive to Ireland from England, we pulled up to the country house and was greeted by a lovely Irish lady and she was cheerful and happy! We had arrived early but that wasn't an issue for her! Nothing on our trip was an issue. We loved our rooms we were shown (2 double rooms and a... More

Very small one bedroom upstairs one room downstairs excuse for kitchen area under the stairs. Several lights not working no iron or clothes airer, later provided, accommodation obviously not checked before arrival. Washing machine but no drier and no microwave, useless tv on bedroom wall. Not allowed to park near cottage so luggage has to be hauled 20 30 yards... More

This was our last stop on a weeks tour of Ireland. We had booked a 4 bed house and from the photos we were massively excited. After 6 days on bikes we were looking forward to a bit of luxury. What we received was anything but!! The reception was frosty, we were curtly informed we were early and couldn't check... More

V convenient location and clean rooms, quite high prices for what they are.owner was v disorganised, tried to double charge us and waited ages in reception to sort it out. Had a bbq there which was cremated but she did try and make amends and brought more food, bit late by then but... More

Stayed at Rathmore holiday village to attend a wedding in Wicklow. Absolute 100% hospitality. Belinda the owner met us from the coach and took our bags so we could stay in town to have a meal. She collected us while dropping other guests off to the local pub. On the morning of the wedding she brought us a full home... More

Stayed here recently for a wedding, felt really ripped off by the price! Paid 100 euro for one of the stables for the night and while it was clean it wasn't worth that much.. no breakfast included etc.. tiny bedroom with bed pushed up to wall. Not worth the money!

Stayed here for a weeks holiday in the stables no 3 and had a very disappointing time. The furniture is out dated, the bed is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever had the misfortune of sleeping on and the kitchen is ill equipped (we ate cereal out of mugs because there were no bowls). The worst part is that the... More
