Run House & Cottages are nestled in the village of Terryglass, a short stroll from the banks of Lough Derg, where the River Shannon meets the mountains of Tipperary. There is a country house and three cottages in one and a half acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, right in the centre of the village. The self-catering accommodation is a location where small or large groups can gather to celebrate an occasion or hold an event. The cottages can accommodate four guests each while the two apartments can accommodate up to six guests. The main house incorporates the two apartments and can be configured to accommodate up to 18 guests. The main kitchen will suit all culinary needs and all guests can dine together in the Orangerie. There are three further reception rooms, the library has a large smart TV to occupy little ones and older ones too, particularly during the rugby season or on a chilly evening. We stayed here for our engagement party and we couldn’t have been happier. The set up in the River Run is amazing, it was so classy and homely and lots of space for having a big group. The room were so comfortable and everything you could need was there. Big thanks to Geraldine for all her kind help in organizing everything and looking after us. I would highly recommend the River Run cottages they were brilliant and everyone who attended our party is still raving about their stay.

This place is just amazing. We had a family gathering here recently, so booked the house and one cottage. From the moment I contacted them, everything was fantastic. The house is immaculate, it has everything you need. The games room out the back is fantastic for kids and teenagers. They had the fire ready to light when we arrived so the place was so cosy after we had lit the fire that eve. The beds are so comfortable and each room seems to be soundproof! As I couldnt hear a sound from downstairs once I had closed my door. The place has an ipad connected to surround sound so you can play your own music etc. Would highly recommend.

We all had such a lovely break away at River run house and cottages.group of 20 with vast range of ages.The warm welcome on arrival was so lovely. The comfort and the quality of every detail in the house is amazing. Everywhere you look or sit has such special details. There was nothing we needed to look for!!

Stayed at the Riverrun with family and friends to attend a 50th Birthday Party. The rooms very amazingly comfortable, clean and warm. We stayed in the beautiful Sage Cottage which had all the facilities you could imagine. The party was held in the main house which was absolutely stunning. Cannot wait for a return visit with the kids.

We recently stayed in River Run for a work team building event and I cannot compliment Geraldine and team enough for the service, amazing accommodation and sensational food. Everything went so smoothly and it was amazing from start to finish. I cannot rate River Run highly enough. We were all blown away by the location and I know that I will be back. Thank you :-)

There are few occasions when I am stuck for words but it is extremely difficult to find the words to describe Riverrun cottages.. wow, wow, wow!!!!!!!!! From the moment I contacted Geraldine to book a hen party group in until the moment we left today we were treated to over and above 5 star luxury, in all aspects! The smallest of details were thought of, everything we possibly could have wanted was available in the houses. The food.... OMG!!!!!!!!! We had supper freshly prepared on our arrival, continental breakfast the 1st morning, Afternoon tea with prosecco that day and a full Irish breakfast on the 2nd morning. The relaxed vibe of Geraldine, Cara and the girls who are absolutely dedicated to the guests spilled over into creating a relaxed weekend for everyone...if you are thinking about staying in the Riverrun, do not give it a 2nd thought; go for it; you wont be sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!…

5 🌟 Experience !!! So glad I discovered these. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the attention to detail in the furnishings and decoration, was just amazing. The beautiful small touches that main it so special. We also had Afternoon Tea, again 5 🌟 in the main house. Wow ... The house is again so tastefully decorated and the setting for the Afternoon Tea, its presentation,the gorgeous selection of both sweet and savoury delights all homemade were incredible. I couldnt but highly recommend River Run and the staff for a weekend break. Terryglass is a small little village with a lovely walk to the lake the ideal spot to relax and unwind. I look forward to hopefully visiting again at some point. In the meantime thank you to Caragh and her staff for helping me to mark my birthday in style 😊…

Caragh very kindly hosted a group of us for new years eve! It was an amazing stay from start to finish! The RR House & Cottages are exquisitely designed and very modern. The host has clearly thought out what guests are looking for and certainly delivered. The accommodation is very modern and has all that you need for a weekend away or long-term stay. Thank you again Caragh! If you are travelling in the area, this is the place to stay.

An absolutely incredible stay at Riverrun with a group of friends! All of the the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. We stayed in the main house and the kitchen/ living areas are brilliant to socialise in and also to relax for a cosy evening. You can walk down to the lake from the house and the pub is also less than a 2 minute walk serving delicious food and drink. We can’t wait to return, it was amazing.
