Our extended family spent 6 nights at Curtain Bluff over the holidays and it was a dreamy experience all around. There was something for everyone, young kids, teenagers and adults...everyone had a blast. The resort is gorgeous and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating! There is really alot of attention to detail and very elegant touches, such as the management's hand-written welcome greeting. The rooms are super nice with special attention to detail and extra perks, such as a bottle of local rum and ice replenished every day along with many other treats. The all-inclusive concept makes for a super relaxing time, no need to wait and sign a bill, back to the beach you go! The food in the restaurants and the bar all wonderful, with excellent service all around, our waiter Jeffrey was always friendly giving insights into the local dishes and making sure we always had enough banana bread in the morning, Glouster so knowledgeable about wines worldwide, Auslando made us terrific cocktails like the Jungle Bird, Jason and Carlos always ensured we had a nice seat and fulfilled our wishes. On the beach Kavier swung by often with popsicles and rum punsch and water to keep us hydrated. We had fallen in love with the local fruit the sugar apple, not always so easy to find, and after coming back from the local fruit stand empty handed one day, Akimba from the front gate brought me some himself a few days later which was very kind. It was an added bonus that all the water sports were included, as our 9 year old twins could not get enough of the tubing experience, thank you Junior, EZ, Reggie and Jennerd for taking them out so often and for the super snorkel trip we had, The kids also enjoyed the kids camp where Eileen had fun activities prepared and was flexible and fun even to the last minute, helping the boys make T-shirts on the morning of our departure. In the spa, friendly Babs does a nice manicure and Wayan and Shelly are terrific at massage. I also had fun in the aqua fitness with friendly Samantha keeping us moving back and forth in the pool. In sum, everyone at Curtain Bluffs contributed so nicely to make it a very special stay with nothing to be desired. Thank you and hope to see you again soon!…
Well, it took a trip to CB to renew my spirits. Having been under kind of house arrest since March in the States, I had no idea what to expect. Well, it was beyond fabulous. Never have felt safer and was surrounded by every bit of the 5 star service, one expects and CB always delivers. Only wish I could stay until this pandemic is over. Rooms , food, service all just perfection. From breakfast in the morning through the last drink in the bar, the CB staff was attuned to your every need and all happy to chat. For me, that service is what I look for. Beach, tennis, spa just perfect. The spa actually one of my favorites anywhere. Sitting there in the late afternoon renews ones soul. Totally felt safe on island too. Antigua has taken this seriously and it shows in their low numbers.Travel easy to get there and always felt safe. We all deserve a break...CB does that and more....do not miss it....…
We had the most amazing holiday. The staff made you feel at home and the service was excellent. We were originally booked in to Carlisle Bay but due to cancellation of flights we had to change to Curtain Bluff and glad we did. We met lovely people at the hotel and there was a band on every night and the music was good. We had two young children with us and they were looked after by Ainsley at the kids camp and she was exceptional! I have to specifically mention the food as for an all inclusive resort it was outstanding! With what is going on in the world at the moment we all need a holiday and we would highly recommend it here.
They know your name the minute you arrive and go the extra mile to please. Please experience their wines and their wonderful wine cellar. In addition be sure to check out the Bluff House, its breathtaking!
Last weekend I decided to book a Birthday Staycation for one at Curtain Bluff Resort. When I arrived at the Resort, I was warmly greeted at the Security Gate by the Guard on duty. When I got to the porch, a Hostess was already waiting for me with the protocol procedure- sanitizer and thermometer, followed by a cold towel. A few minutes later, the Resort Manager arrived to greet me. She invited me to tour the Resort while helping me with my hand luggage. A Bellman was already waiting to disinfect my luggage which he did with a smile that reached his eyes. In his hand, he had a box filled with cleaning goodies nicely presented . I eventually reached Room 66, a Duplex Suite overlooking Montserrat on the bluff, with the best Ocean View ever. The waves provided the most beautiful and perfect music for my Birthday on December 11th. I was very impressed with the accommodation I would have for the next two days. There were so many details- Full Mini Bar stocked with rum, beer, juice, water, wine, snacks. A bottle of bubbly shyly welcomed me from the Ice Bucket. Mosquito bracelets, beach bags, a torch, sanitizer were the, "New Normal", amenities. On the first night, which was my Birthday, I had cocktails at the Bar. I had a delicious 5-course dinner served by very friendly staff while being serenaded by a band which played some lovely tunes . Breakfast in the morning was A La Carte and of course a Caribbean Breakfast was also available. The second night was even better than the first. I was invited to a lovely Cocktail Party at the Owner's Villa where I met some new people and some I already knew. The owner herself greeted me. She did an amazing job saying hello to all of her guests which is very rarely seen in the "New World". I felt extremely special. There are a few activities you can participate in if you wish- snorkeling, sailing, tennis , reading. I just enjoyed relaxing and doing absolutely nothing , There is also a Spa overlooking St Kitts where there is a full menu of treatments. On arrival, if you are suffering from jetlag there is a 19 minute Muscle Relaxing Massage free of charge in preparation for the Local Rum Punch at Dawn . Overall my whole experience was delightful and enjoyable. If you want space, freedom, fabulous food, wonderful staff and a disease-free environment , you will not be making a mistake by treating yourself to a vacation at Curtain Bluff Resort.…
