LaRiSa is a boutique resort, where the orchards stretch out seemingly endless waves of apple trees. The name is inspired from the local language of Lahul. La signifies the sky, Ri the mountains & Sa the earth. And everything at LaRiSa high in the mountains, feels like it has come from the earth, just like its name. This hallowed retreat, in the middle of nowhere, seems the perfect place to find yourself.

Really disappointed with their back office staff . Dirty pool and the rooms was full of insects . Inspite of regular reminders they didn't even bothered to send anyone to clean the room . I will personally not recommend this resort to anyone . Totally a waste of money .

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking out time and writing a review. We regret the inconvenience caused. However, our staff especially, the Housekeeping division is very diligent and prompt. We fail to understand why this glitch. Our pool is at all times kept sparkling clean for our guests' disposal, apart from the times when the weather conditions are beyond our control. However, we will probe into the matter and make amends if required. We believe in Happy Customers and we expect you to offer us another opportunity to serve you better.

We stayed 5 nights in this property and left highly satisfied. Set amidst fruit orchards, 15 kms before Manali (45 minutes drive to Manali), it is serene, calm and away from touristy madness. All you see is orchards this side, and opposite side of the hills. Views are to die for...changing every 5 minutes in month of July (rainy season). Well built villas - v aesthetically done. Service beyond belief. Entire staff led by Anjani the property manager are attuned to providing personalised experience. For kids a walk through kitchen garden and orchards is a great experience Yet I give it four star cause there are some minor improvements that can further enhance the experience a. Not enough electricity sockets. Infact not enough to connect all lamps and other devices in the room (kettle, refrigerator, lamps etc). Multiplugs and extension chords make the room look messy b. Food needs uplift. Chinese/Tibetan were great, North Indian strictly ok (could be more flavoured), but south Indian was outright bad. c. wifi - some funny requirement of multiple email ids for multiple devices! d. Signboards on the road can be more helpful. There was some confusion reaching there first time despite proactive efforts by hotel team to share detailed maps etc.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking time out & writing such a detailed review. We are looking into the electricity sockets and the taste of Indian cuisine & making changes for the fellow travellers to have no reasons to complain. Your suggestions are important to us in terms of wifi and signboards, it definitely helps to improve our services. It was a pleasure to host you & we look forward to your visit again :)

The “La Ri Sa Mountain Resort “ at Manali was a wonderful random selection based on the description and rating available online, but as it turned out it was an excellent place to stay ,near the mountains ,away from the hustle and pollution (yes quite so !)of the Manali town area , though it’s about 12 km away. The staff right from the manager a very sweet lady ,by the name Anjani, who took pains from the very start ,was always on the property ,very hands on ,prompt with answers to all our queries ,and whenever there was something she was supposed to get back to us with answers ,she promptly did without our asking her the second time, never gave us an opportunity to complain about anything.Amazing attitude !! The other Reception staff Ram and Shivani too were very courteous and forthcoming,in fact before we could reach ,they kept calling to track if were having trouble reaching and kept guiding us ,and since we were reaching late ,they were proactive in taking our dinner order and keep our dinner ready 😊 The Restaurant staff Rahul was keenly attentive whenever we went for our meals ,and kept us fed well ,in addition kept a keen eye should we need anything during the course of all our meals .... All in all a very dedicated select team.. Also the caretaker and manager were going around to see the facilities such as the swing, hammock and trampoline were in place ,we’re getting them fine tuned ,really hands on ...such attention to detail .They also regularly fogged the facility since it is located inside an orchard to keep insects and mosquitoes at bay ... Hats off to the team La Ri Sa . Highly recommend place to spend a Relaxed ,homely and amazing vacation 😊

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists and managers were really helpful and friendly. Also great detailing of Waiters during food servings. On one day I forgot to order non spicy Dall for my three years old kid.but he reminded us as we ordered a day before. This shows the passion of staff towards customer.Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The cottage was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our cottage was absolutely perfect. a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. There was children's room with toys. My three years old son used to there for hours. Also performed my dream of cycling there. Our stay at the resort was for three nights nights.Excellent hospitality, would definitely recommend to visit if you are coming to manali.

Located in the picturesque small town of Naggar, about 14 kms from Manali is the dream resort of Larissa. The resort is inside an apple orchard, and boasts of exquisite architecture and landscaping! Since our flight from Delhi was cancelled, we reached the resort at 3am after a harrowing 14 hours road journey! But we were pleasantly surprised when we were welcomed with a hot cup of tea at 3am! Our suite was huge, tastefully decorated and luxurious, and had a private Jacuzzi too! In the morning , we enjoyed sitting in our verandah sipping hot cups of masala tea and enjoying the view of the snow capped mountains! Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of south indian, north indian and continental dishes! Eggs and dosas were made to order on request. Other meals were a-la-carte, very well made and sumptuous! And my compliments to the staff for being very helpful and attentive, and service was exemplary. Also, the flowers in the garden were beautiful, and a photographer’s delight! Overall, it was a dream holiday and worth every moment spent there!
