My family and I stayed at La Veranda over Christmas Holidays and we had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed the charming hotel, and above all the great personalized service. Dedicated staff remember our names, order preference, etc. I would recommend it again,
Services are really good. Receptionists always have a good behavior. Resort has beautiful view. The best experience that I have tried in La Veranda is Kayak. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed it. My girlfriend also like a spa in resort. We will book La Veranda again if we have a chance to take a trip to Phu Quoc again.
1. Rooms: Our family of 4 stayed at La Veranda for 3 nights in January, in the Junior ocean suite and premier ocean room. Both the room and the suite had large balconies offering good view of the ocean, and lovely scent of lemongrass when we walked in. The Junior Ocean Suite, in particular, is extremely spacious, with a grand bathroom. I tried taking pictures, but honestly, photos didn’t do the room justice. You have to be there to truly see its lovely Indochine beauty. I also love the notes, the fruit arrangements, and the scented burner (which for some reason did not smell as nice in our last 2 nights as the very first night that we checked in). One minor thing that we would recommend changing was the TV: the screen resolution wasn’t so great, and its position in the suite was a bit odd - if we sat around the table or anywhere else in the room except the bed, we could only hear the TV and could not watch it). 2. Welcome Drink: 10/10 blew us away. It was not just a drink, but like a welcome set with cold towel wrapped around citronella, mixed “sim” cocktail, and a delightful macaron!! Possibly the best welcome drink we ever had in all mgallery hotels in VN we had been to. 3. Breakfast: We had the breakfast buffet on our first, and ordered from the a la carte menu for the last 2 days. Both versions were fine, although we must say the a la carte meals for us were better, since food would be brought to our table and always straight-from-the-kitchen hot. The staff during breakfast were super attentive, polite and quick (10/10). The food in general was good, but what truly stood out was the drinks (the daily mixed smoothies were changed every day we were there and were absolutely delicious)! Also remember to check out the daily noodle dishes - apart from the great flavor, the unique setting of how they arranged the dish showed how much thought they put in making the dish. 4. Pool and Ocean area: the Pool looked nice and was well-maintained. When we were there, it was the time of the year where the ocean is most beautiful on this coast where La Veranda is situated, and the ocean was lovely, the water was blue and clear, and we spent most of our time enjoying the ocean. We also made good use of the hotel’s facilities of kayaks, sandcastle making toys, and sun beds. 5. General Area: the common area (right beside the pool) was really lovely, with lots of board games that family and friends could play and spend some quality time together (chess, monopoly, cards, table tennis). The chessboard and monopoly game are missing a few pieces, which was unfortunate - but still playable. I hope that everyone (staff and guests) help to maintain the games after use so others could enjoy these games as well, for the long run. 6. Other things: - Free shuttle airport transfer is available. - The nightly sweets delivered to our rooms every night were also delightful. - The departing gift (PQ spices) and welcoming gift (postcards) were the extra touches that left additional good points on our overall already good impressions of La Veranda.…
Everyone was perfect, I used this hotel for my wedding anniversary and the staff had been very helpful, they will provide very useful advice. Food is good but staff could have been more attentive. The spa is amazing too!
The first thing that struck me was how warm and friendly the staff is. Not just professional but genuinely happy to see you. The property is gorgeous in a quaint way. Impeccably clean. Anywhere you stroll on the property there is an air of calm. Private beach, beautiful (saltwater) pool and the Wellness Center. And all of that isn't even the best part. The staff, the food and (again) the Wellness Center. These are what bring the quaint beauty to life. The restaurant staff including Ms. Hang, Ms. Q (spelling?), Ms. Ngan and all the staff are warm and caring. And fun! I enjoyed talking and laughing with the restaurant staff as much as I enjoyed the food. The food at La Veranda is excellent. Mr. Vinh runs the Wellness Center and you will not find a friendlier, more knowledgeable guy when it comes to "reading" your body and knowing specifically what his staff can do to help you feel more relaxed. Mr. Vinh teaches the morning yoga and Tai Chi with his "so lovely" assistant Ms. Thu. I had 2 massage sessions with Ms. Thu and I've never experienced a massage that was more like a peaceful journey than a massage. Thank you to the staff at La Veranda for making my time there a “experience to remember".…
