Location was good, at the city center with many local shops and restaurants surrounded. The room, however, was old and outdated. The used dish and utensils were left in my room when I came. Breakfast was poor with limited choices. Despite the COVID-19 outbreak, only few guests were wearing face masks at the buffet restaurant. No staff cared to remind guests to put the masks on their faces.
Beautiful beachfront hotel located at less 1 km from phu quoc downtown (easy access), by electric car Beach is clean & water clear We went in family (10 pax with 5 rooms) We stayed 6 nights Rooms are confortable Staff (reception, housekeeing, restaurant) are very friendly & helpfull At the restaurant Lisa & nguyen, very nice staff (attentive) Food is good & price affordable Due covid low occupency I recomend the property for stay in family
Ok, arrived Twin beds and was told to push them together to make a kind bed Out dated Clean LOUD OBNOXIOUS BOOMING MUSIC from the Hawaii Resort down the road that didn’t let up even after 9:30 pm. Felt like I was in a Cancun spring break night club. Nice enough staff Beach is full of plastic in the water and on the sand No beach chairs in the sand Great location Cool that bungalow is on the beach but outdated big tine I ended up not being able to handle the music and went to a hotel that was absolutely amazing a KM away and cheaper... Not sure how the heck this has 4 stars?! My friend is bailing tomorrow too to be with me at the new pace down the road - thjs says a lot because I’m cheap and still couldn’t take it!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The staffs were very attentive to our needs, greeted us every time with a smile and provided us excellent service during our 3 days stay. The VIP bungalow was very clean and cleaned each day right before we got back from cycling around town. The bungalow is split into two. We didn't have neighbors until the last night and the neighbors had loud music playing. The hotel was kind to request the neighbors to lower down the music per our request. It would be nice if the bungalows were singles not duplex as the walls are thin. Free bicycle cruisers to rent, very old and rusted but served us well during our stay. This is an old hotel and in the process of getting renovated. It's got an old charm and character as you walk through the property into the bungalow. The beach is kept very clean and overall, we were very happy with our experience. Thank you for accommodating us during these tough times.…
Really beautiful bungalows by the sea, peaceful and perfect for relaxing after a long day of work. Great buffet table. Nice pool area. WiFi worked surprisingly well! Would definitely return once for a holiday.
First of all I need to advise we visited just as Covid 19 started to escalate and therefore there were only a handful of guests, as such whilst we experienced great service there were often more staff than guest so this may or may not be normal. Beach front villa we had was very nice however the outside bath (which was a good idea) was very dirty. They either need to be removed or kept clean. The sunbeds were very comfortable but seemed to be very few on beach and at pool, no issue for us but if hotel busy could be. Biggest issue was cleanliness in some areas - pool grouting very mouldy which is poor, unclean towel return very mouldy, pool area generally not in good state of repair. Staff friendly but little English spoken (not an issue as not an English Island but one to be aware of) - use google translate or similar Generally liked the place and would go back but needs a bit of work and attention to detailed cleaning As you look at sea from resort on far left is a massage bench DO NOT USE - not linked to hotel and will RIP you OFF!…
This is more of a traditional Asian hotel and was one of the earlier ones to get established in the area. The guests are mainly Scandinavian, Russian or Asian. The buildings are well spaced out in beautifully well maintained tropical gardens. The beach has very nice golden sand backed by lush palm trees. The sea is wonderfully warm but a cloudy green colour and for the most part pretty clean. The pool is large and a delight. We never had a problem getting a sun bed at the pool or on the beach. The rooms are large and airy with a good sized balcony. Our king sized bed was enormous and would comfortably sleep four! We stayed in room 301, third floor which was private and surrounded in lush vegetation. (Probably one of the best rooms apart from the more pricey bungalows). Service standards were high. Everything was kept very clean. Breakfasts were not bad and they also have an egg chef to cook eggs to order. Didn’t try the evening bbq because it did not look great nor represented good value. We did have lunch in the restaurant by the pool though which was pretty good. The hotel is well positioned for good restaurants and the night market, all in walking distance. There is also a handy supermarket across the road (as room has a fridge and a kettle). For what we paid, I really can’t fault it.…
The resort of Phu Quoc is busy and we were therefor surprised how quiet this hotel was once you wer in it and behind the main building. We had chosen a garden bungalow which was set in the grounds, had its own veranda with chairs and a table to sit at and was spacious and well appointed inside. The beach was literally yards away from the bungalows and had plenty of beds under canopies along the hotel's beach front. Breakfast was included with our booking and was buffet style with the option for freshly made omelettes and cooked eggs (fried or poached). The hotel offered lunch and evening meals for an additional cost. It was advised to book the evening meal as the area used is located right next to the beach and was a lovely setting for an evening meal listening to the waves crash onto the beach. The staff were really accommodating and helpful and all spoke English but some to a greater degree than others. There is a large pool which has a shallower area for young children but not shallow enough for babies. Around the pool are plenty of sun beds which were always available and not fought over. There is a pool bar that has happy hour which definately was a hit for many. Overall this was a lovely oasis in a busy resort.…
We stayed at room nr.203. Sea view, green are, peacefull, comfortable beds and clean room.. Located on sand beach, near coffe/restaurat/food markets, nice restaurant with good food and service but quite expensive cocktails. Good breakfast. My favourite soups, omlet, fruit...coffe could be better (not strong, taste chokolad). Lots of sun beds with parasol on the beach, fast som gasts have habit to "reserve" sunbeds...Other guests just removed theirs towels. No complaints. If we visit Phu Quoc again definetly we are gona stay at Saigon Phu Quoc Resort and Spa.
We have enjoyed 7 days in a presidential suite with our 2 kids aged 10. Is a 2 bedroom suite with a living room in the middle. Two large terraces with ocean view from where we enjoyed the sun and sunset. Very nice and quiet pool. Beach with sun beds and umbrellas available for free. Easy access to restaurants nearby and night market. All in all a wonderful stay.
