Everything was OK and the staff were friendly enough. But we had a noisy air conditioner compressor on the outside of our wall that was so noisy we couldn't sleep at night. Also the bed creaked loudly everytime we moved.

This hotel is ok , first off all no one in the hotel speaks English, the rooms are ok the beds are ok bathroom is ok , not very clean , lots of mosquitoes ever, including the rooms , this hotel is has 2 pools but they are most of time in the shade , the other problem was a hotel is being built at the back off the hotel ,so for 3 days or 4 days they were burning. The rubbish and there was so much smoke you could not sit outside , and construction stated at 7 am , breakfast was terrible, if you did not get there before 9 am there was nothing left , the staff don’t re plench the food , so there food left , 1 toaster for 400 people , the staff don’t clean the tables or add plates coffee cups or silver ware. So if you want breakfast get there early, the staff at the hotel are not friendly, and don’t try to help with anything, over all very disappointed, the beach is not far away , but you do have to rent chairs , once you get to the beach , over all look for somewhere else , and don’t look at the previous reviews ,

I visited this hotel on the 03rd December 2020 for 7 nights. Got an absolute bargain with TUI. Didn't know what to expect having not been to Phu Quoc before but i'am quite open minded. We opted for b&b having seen reviews of it being really cheap. After the 12 hour flight from the UK we arrived earlier in the morning. The room was not quite ready but who cares. We went to explore and came back around an hour later and it was ready. The reason it wasn't ready when we arrived is because they said it was being cleaned but when we got in the room it was really dusty. After a few baby wipes it was all clean. Like most reviews say the hotel is full of Russian guests. There were 4 people who were English when we went. They are not ignorant they just don't understand us and we don't them. English like to talk and smile to others they don't. My advise is don't try to interact with as pointless. Keep yourself to yourself as they do too. Breakfast was ok. I don't really do breakfast but was somewhat choice of fruit. Cooked eggs.... bacon etc.... Spring rolls if they take your fancy at 07.00am ha! Fresh bread. Get down quick as it all goes and they don't replenish anything when it runs out. The hotel speak very little English.... wi-fi was amazing at the hotel so you may be talking into a phone for it to be translated. It was quite comical. Google translate was my new best friend. Two pools around hotel. The way the hotel is built means it doesn't get much sun. You have to keep moving your sunbeds. Phu Quoc is the windiest place i have ever been.... maybe this was rare but i am talking more than Cape Verde and Fuerteventura put together if you have even been there. The restaurants near the hotels don't look much on the outside but try them. They are so nice and cheap. One of our favorites was Iris Cafe. Staff lovely and spoke good English to recommend food. We tried different local food every night. Starters and mains with a couple of g&t for two people £15 tops. I recommend Pho which is the Vietnamese soup its delicious. Its about £2 a bowl. The currency is so confusing but the shop keepers help you and are honest to you. Few shops near hotels and a supermarket across the road. Shops selling the usual tourist gifts and good prices. The night market was not far in a taxi which we got outside hotel by waving hands in air. Took 15-20 minutes was about £5-7 each way. Plenty to bring you back. The night market is more food choices but again usually tourist crap too. Magnets.... local crafts.... paintings.... The beach was a short walk too but not many sunbeds as the hotels on beach have them. If you don't mind laying on sand your fine. Didn't spend much time there. I really enjoyed Phu Quoc and would definitely go back but not this hotel. It was just being the only English i felt out of place. The hotel has no evening entertainment or a pool bar. We was forever having to go across the road for drinks from shop. The staff are friendly though and always smiling and did their best to interact with us despite language barrier. For a cheap break it was perfect and even going for a week with that long flight was still great. £500 each. I've looked into this area for this year and nowhere near these prices so was a one off i presume. If you want a no frills hotel then the Praha is for you. A bed with decent air con and an ok breakfast.... if thats all you need then this would be perfect.

I am not a fussy person , but this hotel is utter chaos !! Arrived 21 Jan 2020 for two weeks . Arrived at 8 in the morning ,no welcome or cold drink . Just told no room till 2 o'clock !! After waiting 6 hours, taken to room and floor is soaked because of leaking air conditioner, good start after 12hour flight and 6 hour wait for room !! 530 in afternoon still waiting for our cases to be brought to room, had to get them ourselves . Cleaning is a flick of a dirty mop , floor dirty all the time . Sheets changed twice in 2 weeks , one day room wasn't cleaned at all ,phoned reception , told cleaners gone home !! . Every time I tried to complain , told they don't understand . If you like ignorant Russians , this hotel is for you ! Loved phu quoc but this hotel is a joke !! .
