We stayed for 4 nights and could not wait to leave the room was not the one we booked and looked nothing like the pictures plus it smelled like mold and crap the whole place is rundown just look at the pictures from three year old reviews it is still the same nothing is fixed tried to complain that our door doesn't lock but reception doesn't speak any English every conversation with them is a struggle even saying that why did the cleaners leave our door open when we were the whole day out and now room is full of mosquitos and our stuff could have been stolen the answer is sorry no English and in their beach bar the workers are more busy playing cards than serving customers but if this doesn't scare you away please feel free to experience all of this yourself and pay for it

We had cocktails a few days ago which were pleasant enough but service a bit slow . Wanted more but gave up trying to get attention of staff. Went today 27th Jan and ordered beer and some food. When it arrived not only was it not as described( hamburger with cheese- slice of ham with cheese apparently is a hamburger as it was served on a burger bun ! On bread it would be a sandwich) but burger buns were mouldy! No apology when we refused the food and we could not leave quick enough!!

Do not come to this hotel and waste your hard earned money or believe the positive photos and reviews. On arrival the staff were so lovely spoke great English couldn’t be more welcoming. Approaching our room we discovered a full on dirty dusty construction/building site. Our room was disgusting it smelted so bad with mould all up the walls and a constant running tap. The construction noise was unbearable with workmen constantly walking past with wheel barrows. We complained to the staff that suddenly couldn’t speak any English so demanded to see the manager that proved useless. Eventually we were offered another room right next to the bar that again smelt awful and told we would couldn’t stay for the duration of our honeymoon and would have to move room for the last 3 nights. If you are planning on coming to phu quoc for a relaxing holiday in paradise do yourself a favour and book somewhere else. They are happy to advertise beautiful photos but believe me this place is absolutely disgusting.

Arrived Phu Quoc 19th December very excited to be spending our honeymoon at Paris beach Village the on line photos looked amazing but unfortunately that is where amazing ended and the horror started there were piles of building materials on way to reception past more building materials and workmen on way to our room on entering our room my new wife started to cry as there was mould on the walls and permanently running tap that would not stop. We decided we wanted to leave as this was not the dream we had been sold. I work on a building site Monday to Friday and certainly did not imagine spending a romantic honeymoon on one. On speaking to the staff was told we could not get a refund and other that that could not speak English even though they seemed perfectly fluent on our arrival I then proceeded to take pictures and video to show potential holiday makers the horror that is Paris beach village and to warn anyone who has booked there to cancel if thinking of booking not to

At first glance my heart sank, the resort is a full on building site, mounds of building materials all over the site, the rooms are filthy and mould on the walls, taps were constantly running, at check in the staff spoke English but when we complained all of a sudden they couldn't speak English, we asked via google language to speak to the manager, he promptly ran away and hid from us, we left in tears hundreds of pounds out of pocket as they refused to reimburse us, the couple who came with us were on thier honey moon, please do not come here you will leave very depressed and in need of counseling
