Hotel Oster is a very welcoming hotel. Marie-Louise is a lovely person and very friendly and helpful. We had three groups of cyclists stay at this hotel and all three stays were excellent. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The meals are excellent. The breakfast is exceptional. The area is very quiet and beautiful. We definitely hope to stay... More

You get to know the service orientation of hotels in special situations, and the Oster manager was just incredible to us. Our 10-year old son had fallen on the hillside, and chafed his knee. In spite of the fact that we were not hotel guests, and had never been in the hotel before, the manager saw us hobbling through the... More

This is a very nice modern ( but not ultra modern ) hotel. We arrived when they were actually closed but the lady cleaning the steps called Isabelle who cheerfully gave is ourt keys and showed us to our rooms. We had an apartment which was spacious, had a mini bar and was, as always in Germany immaculate. The staff... More

I stayed in one of the newer rooms. It was quite large with its own bathroom, a sitting area, and a desk. Great service with a very friendly owner. This hotel is in Eller, which is a sister town of Ediger. Closer to rail station, but still a bit of a walk. They will come pick you up if you... More

Lovely family-run hotel in prime location for touring the Mosel. Very helpful and welcoming staff, especially Isabelle who speaks perfect English and let us practice our German! The rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. Garaging for motorcycles and a great base from which to explore.

We had a really wonderful stay at Hotel Oster - we enjoyed our visit to this beautiful part of the Mosel - it must be the prettiest village we stayed at. The hotel is run very well - great attention to detail - very helpful staff and the owner and her family speak perfect English - which was a bonus... More

Very friendly family run Hotel in a quiet village type location.Tastefully decorated and very clean throughout. Ideal location to explore the Mosel Valley by bike or, by bus/foot as flat all along the Mosel ( away from the more busy tourist towns) There is a train station in the village and it only takes about 10 minutes to reach Cochem...
