Casa Pippinitto is actually a citrus farm and its courtyard and garden are delightful, as are the rooms, which are traditionally furnished. The owner is warm, friendly and helpful. His breakfasts are delicious and include his own produce, tomatoes, peaches etc., according to season. You can also purchase very cheaply the local Sicilian wine and the honey produced on the...

It took us four years but we had to stay at Casa di Pippinitto again. Finished off our Sicily touring east and west with a few days chilling here. Cesare remains the perfect host, nothing too much trouble. His breakfasts make lunch an impossibility.

What a charming, beautiful oasis at La Casa di Pippinitto! THANK YOU Cesare for such a wonderful time. Our room was lovely, big vaulted ceiling, comfortable bed, clean, new bathroom. The best bit was the verandah outside the room, perfect for relaxing, drinking wine and reading a book. We had all sorts of plans to do this and that in...

Arriving throughout the Sicliian hectick is this b&b a heaven on earth. You will come in an orchard with citrus trees and with views of Mount Etna. The ancient farmhouse with indoor gardens terrace, with appartments adapted to our needs, but in rural style, invite you to disable all your electronics. And the breakfast is abundant and healthy. Catch up...

Cesare was a most welcoming host! Then the beautiful visit begins. Our rooms were authentic and lovingly appointed, walks through the terraced gardens with olive and lemon trees galore, and the most delicious and colorful breakfasts. Pastries fresh from the little market in the village; cooking by Cesare himself. This is a real find, and I can't wait to return....

We had a great stay at Pippinitto. Cesare was a friendly and helpful host. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with hams, cheeses and superb marmalade. The lemon trees were a delightful background to sitting on the hammocks. It makes a great base for visiting Mount Etna.

"La casa di Pippinitto" is one of the best B&B around Mt. Etna and surely the one I know with more “personality”. It is a peaceful old farmhouse tastefully restored surrounded by nine hectares of lush citrus groves, many other kind of fruit trees, lots of flowers and a vegetable garden with delicious organic products available for guests. it is...

We stayed at La Casa di Pippinetto for five days in September and rated it our top experience during our recent visit us to Southern Italy. As everyone else has said, Cesare is a warm and welcoming host, and the accommodation is extremely comfortable for the modest price charged. You have to look very carefully to see the care with...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Casa di Pippinitto, especially all the little touches that elevate this B&B to something special. As noted in other reviews, Cesare is friendly, welcoming, and helpful -- truly a warm host. We arrived stressed and hungry after a travel day fraught with difficulties and he arranged to have pizza and calzones delivered for...

It was the 4th time we were in Santa Venerina in La Casa di Pippinitto with the terrific Cesare as host. And again we had a great time. Although Cesare is working around the clock amidst the citrus trees, the olives or the wallnut trees, he is doing everything that is in his power to make you feel at home....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set between the sea and Etna, Pippinitto's House Bed and breakfast is a spacious structure, built at the beginning of the XIX century. We offer accommodation with breakfast on our farm which extends for 8 hectares. The farm mainly produces citrus fruits, but we also grow many different types of fruit and vegetables for the family and guests. We are proud of the fact that our farm is organic, (and uses only the natural goodness of the fertile volcanic soil. We believe that the flavour and nutrious content of our produce is greatly improved by the lack of chemicals.) ... more   less

“Ask the 'casa' next to where Cesare and his family live... A tip all over: Use Google Maps (on smartphone/tablet) driving around in Sicily: Starting (at a WiFi area) with 'your location' and putting in the address or address/city you want to find/visit and 'voilà'...Offline you'll find it without problems. The roadsigns are a real nightmare; you don't know what they say: this or that way/ street.”
