We have been visiting Barbados for the past 20 years and have stayed at a number of hotels in Holetown during that time. We were extremely impressed with the upgrades to the facility. But more importantly, were impressed with the quality of service provided by the staff. They were extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. This is a hidden gem which we would highly recommend. If you're looking forward to island hospitality, this is the place to start your journey.

Currently in this appt . 1 week in 3 to go . Appt given a swift clean ! x2 in a week ,Had to request towel change today , a week after arriving . Although hand towel wasn’t changed . 1 bath towel each & only 1 hand towel 😧 So back to reception tomorrow, request clean hand towel & possibly another 2 . Not easy drying body & hair with 1 towel 🫣 Ants are a problem in the kitchen area. 🤨 Rubbish been left for days at a time becomes smelly . It appears , on request they eventually meet your needs . Will update , next wk . ? Bed changed 1 since arrival .

Response from Arshad Khan, Owner at Travellers Palm
Responded 3 weeks ago
Hello Maria U, I've personally checked bases on the dates you've stated and could not find you in our reservations. We do not have any guest staying in the period you indicated for 3 weeks. Our hotel just completed a major renovation of all 16 rooms in November of 2022. We hired additional staff and completed extensive re-training. Your review is not in line with other reviews and feedback we've received, I therefore would like the opportunity to address your concerns directly. Please reach out to me at res@thepalmsresort.net

We have been loyal customers here for 20 years and have never had a problem Recent renovations are fabulous- the upgraded apartments are lovely, everything brand new, crystal clean, beds and pillows are gorgeous. Wouldn’t change a thing here, have breakfast on the balcony, see monkeys, hummingbirds, hear the birdsongs, all in a lovely lush garden. Perfection 🥳

A really lovely boutique- style hotel (although quite loosely) situated in a nice setting. Amenities are reasonably close but if you have issues walking anywhere, I wouldn’t recommend. The rooms are one bedroom apartments and gorgeous inside. Our son had his own bed in the living room and it was very spacious. The pool area is really nice and the grounds are full of tropical flora and fauna. Downsides- you get nothing in terms of tea/coffee/ washing up liquid so you either need to bring it with you or head to Massy’s supermarket immediately upon arrival. There is no bar or restaurant on site and so you do rely on going out of your own catering 100%. Whilst our room was not ready upon arrival, towel availability was so so as was the room servicing, we had a great stay and Holetown is definitely one of the best spots in Barbados. Swimming off the beach and seeing turtles was a major highlight!

We arrived here on Friday 4th November 2022. What a beautiful boutique hotel, this place is stunning for a small 16 apartment complex. The welcome we have had here from the management, reception, cleaners and everyone else at this gem has been awsome. We are here for a month and are so pleased we will be spending our holiday here. The hotel has been re-ferbished from top to bottom at a very high standard. Literally everything is brand new, beds, huge TV, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, couch literally everything , apartment re-painted etc etc. The pool has been re done with all umbrellas and sun loungers new and extremely comfortable. Once again the staff can't do enough for us. My wife and I would highly recommend this little haven, on a side line we are in room 11 with a great view of this awsome pool.

We originally booked for two days, but then decided to prolong it to a full fortnite. Because it's such a little appartment with everything on it. The room was kept clean daily and the staff was very friendly.

After some hard decisions in the testing era with COVID, my husband and I had to cancel and rebook. Jennifer kindly found us a cancellation as this was the place we wanted to be. It couldn’t have been better, fabulous team, kind, efficient and nothing too much effort. Have stayed in Barbados around 17 times, just love Halycon and Travellors Palm. Neither of us are materialistic so for sure it’s not a 5* hotel but it ticks all the boxes, kitchen, bathroom, comfortable bed, amazing area with visiting monkeys 🐒 Thank you once again for a fabulous stay, can’t wait to come back.
