This will now be our go to place in Barbados. We have tried all inclusive, bed and breakfast hotels but this self catering accommodation beats them all. Location is fantastic an easy stroll into Speighstown which is the best place in Barbados in our opinion. Yacht club, pool area and beach all fantastic with great staff

Simply the best! We have stayed all over Barbados. Nothing beats the west coast with its crystal clear flat water and beautiful beaches. Port St Charles beats everywhere else for quality of accommodation, beach, grounds, boat access and service. It is an impeccable place to stay for families and friends. Pier One restaurant with is located on site but is seperate has also upped its game and is a fantastic place for residents and guests to eat and drink. Truly paradise. Cannot recommend PSC more highly!

Well how could you not like spending 2 weeks on the perfect beach in paradise? We loved everything about it - the apartment, was superb - everything you needed. Ainsley on the beach kindly putting your sun loungers out, candy coming and being a domestic goddess for us. The reception staff nothing was too much trouble and the lovely groundsmen. We would come back in a flash - it truly was paradise. Thanks!

Very nice resort. Our 3 bedroom / 4 bathrooms villa was exceptionally clean and comfortable with large rooms, comfortable beds and balconies with great views of the marina. It is a condo style luxury resort. Tip: Plan the vacation accordingly and make arrangements for condo living. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful in providing dining, tour suggestions, and making reservations. The beach is one of the best beaches we’ve seen in the Caribbean. Torquise clear waters with soft white sand beaches. Wonderful reef about 30 feet away to snorkel to and see colorful fish and healthy corals. The visibility underwater is very good. The beach is clean and our beach chairs and umbrellas expertly arranged daily. The resort is very well maintained with exotic flowers, plants and landscape. Relaxing stay on a beautiful friendly island. Be sure to visit the scenery, sites, and experience the Island’s culture. We enjoyed visiting the Animal Flower Cave at The North Point, Harrison Cave, and the old synagogue at Bridgetown. We dined in many wonderful beachfront restaurants with superb views and service. We will certainly be back and recommend Port Saint Charles and Barbados to family and friends.

This is a fabulous marina resort, tranquil, very private and relaxing. The private beach is a luxury, you’re collected from your apartment by water taxi and an umbrella and sun loungers are waiting for you… heaven! The staff are wonderful, always smiling and keen to help on any way possible. The grounds are immaculate, tended to daily and everything looks very attractive. We are presently in apartment 145, a downstairs 2 bedroomed apartment with its own plunge pool. It’s spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated, has everything anyone would need, and the pool is such a great addition, lovely just to jump into when it gets too hot. The Pier One restaurant on site has a lovely menu, fantastic views and attentive staff. This is a great place, we’ll be sad to leave and would definitely recommend.

Lovely resort, friendly staff. This is an upmarket marina complex with fantastic sandy beach. The on site restaurant is excellent. Our apartment was equipped with the basics you need to self cater if you wish. All the apartments surround the marina which makes for very nice views!

It was our first trip to Barbados, and we were recommended to stay at Port St Charles as we love the beach. The beach here was AMAZING! Sand was super clean, lots of space, and you never felt like you were near anyone else. The waves were minimal too, so it was great for relaxing or snorkeling. A lot of LARGE yachts seemed to park out in the waters near this area, so it was always cool to see how the rich and famous live (bring binoculars!) Whenever we wanted to go to the beach we would give the front desk a ring and they would make sure an umbrella was up and sun loungers ready for us when we arrived. The beach does have a gated entrance so only residents have access - no strolling "salesmen" like at other Caribbean islands. The water taxi was quick and efficient too - although it wasn't too long of a walk either if we were in the mood. We stayed at a one-bedroom that was spacious and had everything we needed - full kitchen, nice sized bathroom and a great main area. The patio was very nice - we had our own plunge pool, plus nice sun loungers there too. Lots of foliage so you never felt a lack of privacy. We were surprised that we received maid service every day too - many times went you rent a condo you don't have that luxury. The room had its own washer/dryer which was nice, plus a safe. It also had A/C, but to be honest we never turned it on except for at night - the breeze was so beautiful and little to no humidity, so even though it was in the 80's you felt perfectly comfortable. Our room was only a few steps from the pool - that area had nice sun loungers too and the pool was designed so you could do laps or have some private space. We met quite a few nice people on our stay, most from the UK who were spending multiple weeks or months there, and not only was it nice to have someone to chat with, but they gave us great recommendations on food, etc. Port St Charles is about 40 minutes or so from the airport, and if you are not good at driving on the left I would highly recommend arranging for transport. But the rooms do come with a parking space if you do choose to rent a car. We did a lot of small day trips - Welchman Hall Gully, Bathsheba, Holetown, etc. and it was always a reasonable drive and the view is always so fascinating that it seemed to go by in a flash. It is a short walk into Speightstown, which we did several times for groceries or dinner. We really liked this location. A special shout out to the ladies at the front desk - super friendly, and they allowed us to leave our luggage there after check out so that we could go for lunch before leaving for the airport. They also found some snorkeling gear in the lost and found that they lent us for a few days - with it we were able to spot a sea turtle right by the rock cluster on our beach - so cool! I would highly recommend a stay at POrt St Charles - you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic resort with possibly the best beach in Barbados, based on the fact it is deeper than most and is away from road noise. Being in a marina we wondered if the boats would cause any issues but it was very quiet. Boats were coming and going throughout the day but they didn’t cause any disturbance. The apartment was clean and well maintained, the communal areas were kept spotless. The views are truly stunning. The water taxi is a great idea and the driver was friendly, skilled and professional. All staff we met were smartly dressed in uniforms and were exceptionally friendly. The only reason Port St Charles hasn’t been given five stars, is because of cigarette smoke continually affecting us from another apartment. Perhaps we were unfortunate, but to allow smoking in the rooms or on balconies, does not tie in with the high end resort. Barbados banned smoking in public places 10 or more years ago, so we didn’t expect to be affected by this.

We have just returned from staying one amazing month at PSC which is a 5 star resort. The location is fantastic with luxury accommodation, pristine beach and the most helpful, friendly staff. Our apartment overlooked the marina on the second floor and was perfect in every way. Special mention to our wonderful housekeeper Harriot who kept the apartment immaculate. We also must give a big thank you to Steven for his wonderful gesture on our anniversary. When we return to Barbados we defiantly would only consider staying at PSC and have already recommended this to our family and friends. A big thank you to PSC for making our stay so perfect.
