Dropped in today for lunch and very disappointed. Sat at our table and ignored. From the time we sat down until the first server arrived to take drink orders was 25 minutes. 20 minutes later the drinks arrived because “the bar tender was backed up”. When the food arrived it was good but, first impressions are lasting. I guess my yacht wasn’t big enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed a lazy lunch here. West Indian curry was super tasty. My husband enjoyed his meal too. Nice ambience and good food. Spot on! Would definitely return as good menu, beautiful location, comfortable seating. Have paid a lot more for other restaurants on island which were all style and no substance. This place delivers on both counts!

Fabulous place, happy, polite, fun Barbadian staff. We just got unlucky in that our accommodation - 109 - was not prepared for us to move into. AC in sitting room didn’t work, toilet handle broken, an exploding outdoor plug socket and unreliable maid service! This is not what you want when you just got off a long flight from London! All of these problems were rectified quickly but it still meant we had an electrician in the condo most of the next morning. However, probably the most irritating issue was that there was no ‘welcome pack’ of basics - not even salt and pepper! The Yacht Club was lovely and the surroundings and setting was lovely as were the people. The beach was secluded and well maintained, swimming very good and water taxi service was excellent and lots of fun.

This was our 12th visit to Barbados and our 3rd to Port St. Charles. We occupied a one-bedroom apartment consisting of a lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom plus a huge balcony overlooking the man-made harbour/lagoon. The apartment was very spacious, air-conditioned plus ceiling fans. The lounge was very comfortably furnished, the kitchen well equipped incl. a washing machine and dryer. The bedroom had a very comfortable big double bed. The apartment had lots of storage space including big wardrobes and various chest of drawers. The bathroom was spacious too and had the benefit of 2 wash basins, a shower over the bath and lots of storage space. The plumbing worked well! The apartment was cleaned on a daily basis including all the towels washed and dried. Beach towels are provided too. PSC consists mostly of 1,2,3,4-bedroom apartments within a complex adjacent to a beach. Some of the apartments are owner-occupied and some are privately owned but rented out. There is a restaurant on site providing daily lunch and it is open for dinner during some evenings of the week, if you don't want to do self-catering all the time. The adjacent beach is not very busy, parasols and loungers are provided and there is also a swimming pool. The staff are ALL very friendly and accommodating!!!!!! We intend to return next year for a relaxing holiday.

Tonight we went to Pier One at Port St Charles which is open to non residents The website isn’t that user friendly with no links to the restaurant or how to book. So after an email and calls we managed to get a reservation The setting is brilliant with a very nice open plan feeling with excellent seating The service and quality of food was great and we did indeed feel special. I would highly recommend here for dinner once you can fathom how to actually book! Which needs looking at. We would definately go again and don’t be put off by thinking that prices are high, they are in keeping with others or even slightly more reasonable Well done !!
