This historic building and former palace offers an experience to enjoy. If you know how to get the most from its perfect location ,the walking distance to the center and the friendly staff this is the place for you. If you only interested how efficiently runs the hot water and i

Hotel is so rundown and falling apart, absolutely filthy, dead cockroaches, toilets don't flush, scary electrical work, grey/yellowed stained linens and towels, outside stairwells with no lights......... front desk clerk didn't care about any problems. This hotel might have been

This hotel is listed in the book " The Lonely Planet" as a palatial residence of the pasha. It does have extensive gardens. It has very disappointing rooms and bathrooms. The water worked infrequently and the light bulbs were burnt out. It had no amenities.

Sure, it's seen better days, but the staff are helpful, the beer is cold & although the restaurant menu is extremely restricted, our meal was pretty tasty. It must have been spectacular in it's hayday.

We have stayed three times in this wonderful hotel. The last room we stayed in had a large veranda overlook the small pool at the top of the hotel. Cannot remember the room number. We are planning to come back in April/ early May and would love to stay in the same room. Can you advise what the room number is so we can request this room. Is fusia still working at the hotel?
Dear Iorron, I do not work at the hotel. While visiting Taroudant we toured the hotel and had a cool orange juice in the garden. I am not aware of the room locations or numbers. If you call the hotel directly, I am sure they will help you with your questions. bev

Cordialement

"We stayed in an old traditional room downstairs and the outside light and hall light did not work. I don't know about the newer rooms."
"We stayed at an older room off one of the 3 central patio's, which was large and cool."
