This was my third yoga retreat organized by Tina & Thule at Lantana Galu beach and it was everything I've come to expect. The atmosphere among the participants is always friendly and supportive and the activities well thought out and suitable for any level. There's no pressure and you always have the choice to do as much or as little as you want. You'll fit in whether beginner or advanced. Tina did a variety of yoga sessions of ashtanga, hatha, and vinyasa flow, plus the super-great evening yoga nidras which for me are the cream of the retreat. Thule did the beach exercise and aqua-aerobics, and they try to organize the session times to suit what the participants prefer. There's always plenty of time for relaxing or excursions as you wish. As for the hotel itself, as always the accommodation is very comfortable and spacious, the aircon works well, the staff friendly and helpful, the grounds and pool beautiful, and you are right on the beach... it's all just very easy and perfect. The retreat has its own menu of tasty vegetarian food included but if you want you can also order from the restaurant's main menu. If you're travelling from Nairobi then Safarilink and Jambojet fly directly into Ukunda airstrip and from there it's only 15mins in a taxi to the hotel. I totally recommend this retreat for anyone looking to both do some yoga and chill out in the beach atmosphere of Diani. Hoping to go for my 4th time sometime in the future! …

I attended a yoga retreat at Lantana, with trainers Tina and Thule, from Friday to Sunday. Wonderful experience, I enjoyed a lot the yoga and fitness sessions, I appreciated so much the personal advice from Tina to improve my yoga practice and Thule’s cheerfulness. The stunning beach, the snorkelling, the delicious vegetarian meals and drinks, as well as the conversations with other participants and teachers, contributed to this unique experience. I feel relaxed, regenerated, and enriched. Hope I’ll be available next year to do it again!

This is a beautiful property with so many beautiful trees and other vegetation all over the compund. we felt like this prevented the unforgiving heat of diani from reaching us while within the hotel. We stayed in one of the lovely 3 bedroom villas. The beds were comfortable and the housekeeping kept the entire villa spotless. There is a water fountain right inside the villa, wow. The swimming pool is large and right by the beach. We spent many hours in the pool, what with shade provided by the trees, this made it so cool. All the staff we encoutered from the reception, to housekeeping, to the restaurant, the pool attendants, the gardeners and Wycliffe were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend and will return.

Lantana is a beautiful resort, everything about my stay was great, but the part that really made it a trip to remember was the staffs care. I can’t name everyone, but Boniface especially was amazing!!

I attended the yoga retreat hosted by Tina and Thule and it was just everything I could have asked for during a weekend of "me-time"! The resort is great - nice apartments and facilities and the staff are so nice and welcoming! The yoga and fitness activities are perfect - both Tina and Thule are patient and gentle, making sure that everyone, doesn't matter if they are a beginner or advanced, fit or non-fit, gets the most out of the classes. The people who joined the retreat were also so lovely and the food was delicious! I loved everything about this and I'll definitely be back again next year!

This was a fantastic retreat. The place is beautiful and everyone I met was amazing. Tina and Thule made everybody feel so welcome and adapted the classes so that all levels would feel comfortable. I was personally challenged to push my limits and am very grateful for it. The food was also delicious and thought with care. They even adapted the meals to my intolerance. I can only recommend this retreat, I won't hesitate to come back next year!

We had a great stay with the super friendly staff at this hôtel. We were even able to extend our check out time to noon. That was amazing. Rooms, equipment and the restaurant are well equipped and nice to visit. The beach ist right ik front of the hotel.

We stayed here two nights with three adults in one of the apartment suites. The suite is huge and could easily accommodate two families. The hotel has taken great care to create a tropical oasis, with beautiful arrangements of flowers, trees, ponds and pools on the grounds. There are beachfront and garden rooms available. The food is excellent in the restaurant. I wish we could have stayed longer and sampled it more! What really stands out is the professionalism and hospitality of the staff. Every want and need was taken care of quickly and with a smile. One thing- you hear many stories about the monkeys of Diani. While there were some on the grounds, they never presented a problem. The staff keeps them away from the accommodations and there are posted guidelines for guests to follow to minimize encounters.…

Our family of five from Boulder, Colorado USA had a lovely three night stay at Lantana post safari. It was the ultimate place to unwind after many enjoyable days scouting animals. Lantana is convenient, safe, clean and extremely welcoming. They have everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Their pool and beach setting is beautiful as are their villas. It's worth the travel to Galu Beach when you stay at Lantana!
