We booked the hotel two days before questioning every details due to the COVID restrictions. Our expectations have been highly exceeded , especially given our high standards requested. The hotel is in its integrity wonderful , not even talking about cleaning and staff professionalism . Food is at very high level, much better than some Michelin stars appointed restaurants. Close to the slopes, really well equipped for adults and kids. I truly recommend it.
We booked this hotel, because friends highly recommended it to us. Unfortunately, our expectation was not met at all. We got an upgrade for our room, which was highly appreciated, but we realized the next day, that the new room was next to outside building works. The noise started at 6.30 am in the morning and ended at 7.00/7.30 pm in the evening. Thus, our children could not sleep after lunch and we woke up far to early for relaxing holidays. Further, staff put down masks under the nose, when preparing the buffet. Also, during the massage, the staff did not wear a mask properly. For the price we paid - in comparison to other hotels in this category - we were absolutely disappointed. Also a 80 Euros voucher could not make the holiday better. Thats nothing the hotel can do for, but if you travel with children, you should be aware, that the adults spa is on the roof and the children swimming area is on the ground floor. To say something good: the dinner was always excellent.…
Had some amazing days (for the 2nd time) at the beautiful Spa resort! What a pleasure! We will for sure come again soon! The dinner and the breakfast buffet are just amazing. The saunas are very beautiful and the panorama is just breathtaking. They also handled the COVID-19-situation well.
The big Lunaris hotel together with its sister hotel Amari blends in beautifully in the landscapre by its mixed wood and glass architecture. The whole hotel is stylish and modern. Food, especially the gourmet dinners are excellent. The wine is reasonably priced. Service staff is really nice. The wellness facilities are beautiful as well. There is a big in- and outdoors pool which can be used by families and the adults-only sky lounge. The two sauna fairies make the sauna and steam bath a healthy event. However, what I did not like was the lounge music in the sky lounge. Nowadays everyone can listen to his or her on music by headphone. When I go the the mountains, I would prefer silence or listening to the white water! The way to the pools from Lunaris hotel was a bit long as they are located in the sister hotel. On the first day I got lost. A bit disappointing was the fitness programm. I had hoped for a daily offer of aqua gymn, pilates, zumba etc. - fun and easy. going. The fitness programm was not to my taste. All in all a good place for some relaxing days!…
I just feel like I am at home. I've been there so many times and every single time was just great. It feels to be cut off from civilization, so nice for hiking & biking & relaxing. Friendly staff (Susanne at the reception, Nadine and Carmen in the restaurant, Daniele at the bar), great restaurant, nice rooms and good interior. The spa treatments are not the highest quality ones, the massage given by the lady from Germany was NOT at all relaxing. Their new bikes (e-bikes) are excellent, really good quality and gives you perfect opportunity to make longer visits in the Valley. As always, I think that it's a good choice for the winter as well as the summer. We are already booked in for the ski season.
Me and my husband and 6 months old daughter enjoyed the sky suite with jacuzzi, sauna and rainshower in the room. The room was amazing - very beautiful and spacious. The food offered is of high quality and so that's very good too. The only negative part is that drinks are not included- also not during dinner hours. Wine is very expensive. But, I would totally go back every year!
We are returning guest, it's been 10 years that we are spending our winter/summer holidays in Linderhof, as it used to be called. The hotel itself is really nice and clean however with the refurbishing it had been lost his character, the Tyrol style that was much appreciated by us and by other guests as well. Unfortunately most of the personnel have been changed as well and their knowledge seems to be gone. It would have been thoughtful to keep a data with returning guests habits and expectations. It used to be feel like home...As another guest has already stated, my feelings are very mixed about our stay. However we don't give up and will be back one more time this summer as we are confident that there will be some improvement with the services. Beside all our feelings we still recommend this hotel, perfect location, good spa facilities and the skiing is just simply amazing. …
We recently spent a few nights this summer at Lunaris. Unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. Rather than complain about everything that we didnt like, the list could get long, let me rather say that if it was not for Tamara, Nadine and Urban, who were excellent, we would certainly not have enjoyed our holiday. Thank you to the three of them, to the rest, a lot of room for improvement.
We spent a week at Linderhof in one of their newer rooms, which is generous in size (40 sqm) with ample space for our little family of 3. We normally go skiing in either France or Austria and South Tyrol was going to be a hit or miss especially such a remote and rather unknown skiing area on an international scale. But it was their closeness to skiing area, kids play & pool and spa offers that were the key criteria for us. We were not let down at all. Perfect skiing conditions were a bonus though. Very lovely hotel and great food & drinks. The manager of Linderhof (Patrick) was very attentive and we were so impressed by his & team’s care and service. The only negative comment I’d leave is that they should try to separate couples and families with young children away in the restaurant. It just got too loud during a long dinner. The hotel is going through an extensive refurbishment later this year and we have rebooked for next skiing holiday already. Thank you again and look forward to returning! …
I have very mixed feelings to rate this hotel. The location is perfect just in front of the ski slopes and the premises and the rooms were very nice but you could feel the lack of management and that the personal is not trained, for a 4 stars plus hotel it was not acceptable. Cleaning trolley full of dirty towels are standing from 8am to 2pm in corridors (see photo), they assigned us a table in a very noisy area full of children (less then 5years old) crying and ruining our dinner time. We asked to change but still had 2 days in this area. No extra towels in the Saunas, only one person in the reception who is always answering the phone, only one lift for the entire hotel always busy for the cleaning ladies ! Luxury is in details and service so i was very disappointed. We had a suite and to use the Nespresso machine it was 2e per coffee : a real jock. Saunas and pools opened at 11am far too late. Lunch time started at 1.30pm also too late if you have ski lessons.…
