We decided to stay here from the reviews about being in the woods. Let’s start by saying it is in the woods, but that’s where the good stops. The rooms look like they haven been updated since the 80’s. Many things you would assume to be in a hotel are not here. No refrigerator in the room, the tv is scrambled and when I asked the desk what stations are available the answer was I don’t know. We were treated more like an afterthought than a guest. While the price was on the lower side, everything seemed to be an extra. From the hot tub to bikes or playing tennis on the courts you have to pay extra. The breakfast bar was middle of the road and dinner needed to be reserved before 5pm for a buffet that closes at 9pm. My opinion is stay somewhere else. Here are some pictures of the room that we were in. It’s not somewhere I would pay to stay again

Although this was only one night stay it was magical. Set in the forest, very eco friendly and a convenient bus into town of Bled for 1 euro! The hotel was friendly, quiet with huge amount of outdoor activities and Glamping available. Would certainly recommend to anyone interested in fabulous scenery and outdoor pursuits, especially cycling

We stayed here on a coach trip with Shearings. The hotel is definately an older, wooden style but perfectly acceptable. the staff that we had dealings with were all polite and helpful. They all had an understanding of English, some better than others. A special mention to the waitresses and chefs, a gluten free request was put on our booking and they did their best to accomodate this. The waitresses checked with the chefs and pointed out to me what was gluten free. The chefs even prepared seperate food for me if I asked for it and I am very grateful for their help. Breakfast and dinner are buffet styles and were fine. There were various options for dinner including different meats, fish and vegetarian. The rooms were clean and comfortable and appeared to be recently refurbished. There were air-con untis in the rooms but no tea/coffee facilities. The hotel is quite far from Bled (approx 40 min walk) but there is a shuttle from the hotel, twice a day, currently costing 3 euros each way. The location of the hotel is ideal for hikers and cyclists, with bikes available to hire from the hotel. We didn't use the Wellness Spa so can't comment on that.

Room interior looks like the 80s, but the cleanliness is ok, breakfast all time same, diner much better, but not great variables... If you got a cheap deal, good choice. Staff is moving a wide spectrum, from nice to grumpy...

I spent three nights at the hotel. It is convenient to Lake Bled in a quiet and lovely setting. September was a terrific time to visit - nice weather and no crowds. Several day hikes started from the hotel grounds. The food was reasonable, nothing special. The rooms were spacious, if a bit old fashioned, which I didn't mind.
