We loved everything about this lodge and will definitely return. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is a hidden gem, the whole experience was excellent. My only suggestion is that they add a bar fridge to the rooms.
The good: -Has a great location easy accesses, -Food is amazing the breakfast and dinners are really good (just add more dessert options) -Staff and service is very good. The Bad: -The air-conditioning in the room are not very effective as it is in the corner by the door, it would work better if it was in the center of the room. - No fridges in the room, the place area gets hot and one would want cold water at night. - the towels are very old, currently the towels used are aged and don't have that fresh smell - No proper closet, if you spend one night there its fine but if you do more than one night and want to unpack your bag it becomes a problem.
Great food, great workers especially the guys,(ladies are a bit cold or not very interested ) a very beautiful clean pool where we relaxed all day long with other visitors. The sundowner is breathtaking and snacks were served there, very food. Rooms are clean and very comfortable,, (but the aircon’s position is tricky,,) above everything else we had a great time at this facility, I would visit again to relax and enjoy good food and swim all day
Very nice place to stop in the Damara land, close to the petrified forest area. A bit further away from other touristic spots. The lodge is very welcoming and the staff very professional. Great set up of the accomodations and the central lodge with food and accomodations is great! Great dinner with nice fireplace.
The lodges were all fronted with gardens. We loved that. We went on the bush walk and saw so many things! Even Geodes ! We broke some open and say lovely minerals. And we did the mountain hike in the am. Saw lovely birds and hyrax! (the closest relatives to elephants!) Grace (age 28) ran around the mountain in 25 min! Sun downers with Esteras(?) told us lots of inf about the area
