For a 2 star hotel; this charming quaint quiet hotel meets expectations. The pool or sea view rooms are a must to enjoy this space. Staff were extremely helpful, pool lovely and location right on small beach perfect for a relaxing holiday. Some touch up maintenance needed and hope this is addressed soonest as the hotel does have potential. Meals on offer were applicable for a 2 star establishment - breakfast however could be improved.

Well, things did get better so I should give credit were credit is due. The rooms are still the same but they did find a more acceptable option. But 4 and a half hours from checking in to getting the room is ridiculous. The food improved once the chef ( I didnt catch his name obviously wanted to please, he was nice and took what was said graciously)was informed it was not being eaten but binned, the choice still very limited, no children's menu, a plate of chips costs £6!!! Anushka, Cedric and Mika stand out as they were smiling, happy staff members, nothing was too much bother for them ,unlike some of them, Sadly there was no connection made. 2 weeks and they still didnt know what we liked to drink. Getting a jug of water for the table at mealtimes (it's hot here) was a laborious process. The nice chef was the only member of staff, and the previously named card enough to ask if we were enjoying our stay. There was no information about any trips or activities. The bar shut before the restaurant, some nights before 10 pm. I realise covid19 and its mutations put the hotel in a difficult situation but training staff to be attentive, efficient and at least pretend to be happy. Two in particular could have soured milk with their faces. Dont know their names, no tags. Ok I'm done. Will we come back? Yes to Mauritius, no to this hotel, sad but true.

Rooms Z are what we use for homeless people. Food is diabolical. Two members of staff are ace. Anushka and Cedric. Do not expect staff to be friendly unless you pay them. Cleaning is a joke and reception is USELESS. Took 5 days to get a slice of lemon! Cleaning chemicals left in room in lucazade bottles! Children and adults alike are eating bread and butter to survive. Prices are rediculous. Overrun with dogs and cats. Ants in dining room on tables and chairs.

Had an amazing weekend during our stay at the hotel. Rooms are quite small but for 2 people is good. Quite and chill atmosphere to relax is a good place you have lot of space as hotel was not full. Need to improve the menu chef not too many variety. I had an amazing night with the Barman kamlesh at the bar he knows well my taste especially with his own creation my husband love his chilli Ti punch. Over all service in the restaurant was not good at all the waiters are always in a hurry no one in the restaurant to help you not even the table was clean. Hope next time we won't be disappointed and thanks kamlesh for taking good care of us even you make the drinks and serve it. Had an amazing time with you all❤️.

During my stay at le Cocotiers Hotel, I was shocked by the way we were welcomed. The Manager didn't even care to say a hello. Actually he didn't even bother to look at us although he was at the reception desk. We waited for two and a half hour to get a room and we had to visit the hotel by ourselves. We were given beach towels that we had to keep for three days as they told us they had not enough towels for the residents. No good morning,no hello from the staff during the stay. Meals were imposed and we were reminded that the restaurant will close and we had only limited time. There was only a barman who was very pleasant and he treated us well. I would unfortunately not recommend this hotel. We had a bad experience and we would never go back there. Mrs P. Migale

I stayed there for 1 night, Not more Hopefully!! No follow-up is done. All request, such as a table in front of the sea to mark a birthday, was ignored. No water activities as mentioned on the website.(Boat House Closed) No 24/7 reception. Reception closed until 8 am. Nobody to assist us in case of panic. The Reservation Supervisor very incompetent and no consideration for Guest. During our stay, there were a group of person around 25 persons or more circulating with bottle of soft drinks and food around the pool and on the beach and the Hotel did nothing for the well-being of other customers who have been disturbed by all the noise caused. I did not recommend this place! Not a quiet place, Unprofessional Barmaid, a Martini served in a plastic glass with black olives !! Worst Food also. Seems that the Management didn't take pleasure to welcome guest. It is only to sell rooms. Bathroom need to be refresh; and the outdoor too. The beach need to be clean. Not recommendable!!
