I have visited Mauritius in February, it was very hot but not as sunny as i would have liked. Me and my friend stayed in Salt of Palmar, i was impressed about the service, the kindness of the staff, the style of the building, the incredible white sanded beach right in front. I have to say that is one of the best and most incredible hotels i have ever been. All the staff is very well trained, the rooms was special too. they provide as much water as you wish in the room and there is a tap where you can refill the alluminium bottle (gift from them). Body creams, body scrub, shampoo, hair mask, hair conditioner, everything in the room. Well i just wish to thank all the staff and wish to be back some day.

This was by far the best hotel experience I've ever had. The people and the hotel are exquisite. The app is a brilliant touch and lets you engage in lots of activities. I would personally recommended the dinner with a local. Mirella was a wonderful host and excellent cook. We had more rum (homemade) with her and her husband than we've ever had! The staff at the hotel are amazing, I would specifically like to highlight Med and Thierry who were extremely helpful, kind and funny. Would happily stay again.

What a super hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this hotel, from the super friendly staff, the amazing beah and the beautiful decor. We stayed for 9 nights during the C-19 issues and I can say that the hotel seemed prepared and as taking all precautions it could which is good to see. We stayed in room 107 which is a BoB room, the room was great with a massive shower and comfy bed (if not a little soft for me, but the wife loved it). Although the view to the beach was great, we felt that the two beams across the balcony severely restricted the view if you sat on the balcony and also the wind when we were there was particularly bad, and as this room faces east, the wind would howl through the patio doors all night, luckily we had ear plugs (we never travel without them) but maybe this is something that could be offered if the weather is particularly bad. The food in this hotel is some of, if not the best we have had in a hotel. It can clearly be seen that time and effort has been made to construct the menus and everything is fresh. We only stayed on a room only rate as we like to get out and explore, however, the breakfast has a great range of items (if not a little on the expensive side for breakfast) and the lunch and dinner were also a decent selection, a particular favorite was the Chicken Curry. If you do not intend to eat as much as you can we found the RO rate as better value. The selection of dinks is also great with the bar staff very attentive and eager to whip up whatever you want. A particular shout-out goes to Valen and Nirvan, however all staff were great. For those who like the water the hotel provides a complimentary snorkel trip, kayaks, sailing and pedalos. Overall an amazing experience at this hotel and for sure would recommend this to anyone staying in Mauritius.

We stayed for a week as part of our honeymoon and it was wonderful from beginning to end. Our "Best on Beach" room was fabulous, providing everything we needed, plus extra luxuries. The various bars and areas to relax were all brilliant. The food is all locally sourced and delicious; we'd recommend the croquettes and the Maringa Morning omelette! Drinks were great too, with an extensive wine list. And all the staff were friendly and attentive without exception. A modern concept, different to other Mauritian hotels, can't recommend highly enough. PS: shoutout to Sanjay, Gino and Jeanmee from Room 315!

Thank you so so so much for everything! I came by myself for a few days in the midst of the world ending with coronavirus, I loved that they emailed me prior to assure me it would all be safe and that both employees and guests will have temperatures checked everyday and help wherever needed. The hotel is stunning, no pointless extras in the room but it is paradise. I stayed in bang on the bang in the beach, room 223, definitely worth the extra few euros to have the beach below you with the nicest sound in the world. All the products in the room were divine, the bed was the most comfortable I’ve been in and the meals were fantastic. I love the salt room in the spa, it’s sensory heaven. All of the staff are super chatty if you want (I was by myself) and very helpful, I could chill reading my book in the bar or the library or wherever. The beach is really long so you’re not on top of each other and for the love of me I don’t understand how no one else was up at sunrise for the swim, water is warm and crystal clear down to the right by the boat house. Absolutely glorious. Super thanks to Vhavish who helped me with all my requests. There is no reception so you message them on their app and they respond straight away, you also book your activities through the app, super convenient. By the way, the salt of palmar fm radio station that is on in your room made my trip, spent days shazam’ing the different songs. Thanks so much, devastated to leave you.
