Hard to know where to start but while the facilities are all fantastic it is the staff who help to make this place special. It almost feels wrong to highlight anyone in particular as it genuinely feels like everybody is doing their best to make sure you have a great time. Other reviews have highlighted how good the food is and would completely agree. So many amazing options, healthy, fresh and always beautifully presented. Coffee is also great and I’m usually picky. If you like more intimate venues, naturally sourced products, great food and the beach & pool life this is the place for you.

Rooms are spacious and comfy. Activities are great, include complimentary water sports, morning yoga and gym classes. Spa is good value. Food is local and fresh and often large enough to be shared. Cocktails are unique recipes to the hotel and are all delicious. The hotel really shines with the staff and service, especially at reception and in the restaurant and bar. The level of service is easily comparable to the top-tier resorts on the islands and the friendliness and courteousness of the employees reminded me of North Island in the Seychelles . A special mention goes to Deshika at the front desk and everyone in the restaurant, including Med, Sanjay, Vijaye, Bishav, Rahoul and Shib in particular, they all elevated our holiday from enjoyable to special.

We visited Salt in March ‘22 and found it to be so good we came back a year later. Not much had changed - in a good way. We enjoyed the company of many of the staff, too many to name although Med and Sanjay should get a particular mention. My wife doesn’t drink and whilst they do a great range of AF cocktails they didn’t have any 0% beer. That is until we asked if they could get some. Next day 0% Heineken had appeared. On our penultimate evening we were treated to dinner for two on the beach, a super surprise and something we’ve never experienced before. We will be back! Again!

It was a fantastic experience! The hotel is located at the end of a laguna, so it's a great place to swim. The hotel is unique, it's so stylish and well thought through. Details matter here, and you notice it. The service is absolutely perfect, the staff is taking so much care and trying to fulfill every wish. We had amazing cocktails and delicious food directly serviced to the cozy beach pillows. Med, Sanjay, Rhaoul and all the others - they remember what you like and anticipate your next wish. You always feel welcome and at like at home. The rooms are stylish colorful and cleaned up twice (!) a day. And they have their methods to never disturb you when they do. Experiences like boat trips and snorkeling are included and you should absolutely do it. The reef is right in front and the ocean life is impressive. What else? I don't know. I am happy. An absolutely wonderful hotel. My Wife and I like to travel a lot and this is hands down one of the best we've stayed at. The rooms are superb (it is definitely worth paying a little extra for a 'bang on the beach' room. The breakfasts are to die for, an Instagramers dream! The staff are superb, nothing is too much trouble. A particular mention to Sanjay who always went above and beyond. Don't think about staying here, just book it. You won't regret it.

The Hotel was amazing, like a pearl on the east coast! The staff was very friendly and always took care that we enjoy and relax. Every second night we had live music from local performers at the colorful pool bar. It was never to crowded, enough space for all guests. Special thanks to Med our Manager who made every wish come true, like early breakfast, picnic package, extra wishes and the nice people around like Rewa, Vish, Sukka, Bishar the Barista who made absolutely perfect coffee, Rhaoul, Kheertee, Sanjay, Vijay, Hoomit - we got to know them because they were taking so much care that all the guests feel good. You won't find better Croissants even in Paris by the way, believe me, no joke! The sea view pool, the snorkeling, the boat rides, the Spa... There are so many highlights, I cannot count. Mauritius is fantastic, and so is this hotel. They really do everything they can to make you feel like at home. Or like a king/queen. Let's say like a king/queen at home. One tip: I would book half-board with dinner, since there are no other restaurants nearby anyway.…

This was the time of my life! Well designed clean rooms, comfortable beds and perfect room servise. Not only a beautiful ocean but everything here is on a very high level thanks to the extremly nice staff on each position. Even when I was sick! Especially thanks belongs to Rishi and his team, Med and his team, chef Shiva, who except really good meal, prepared anything to make me feel good again, Vijoye and Akhilesh. Hotel offer a variety of special program and I really would like to come back again.

Beautiful place, friendly, kind, genuine service. Good food, lovely rooms supplied with everything you need. Pool and bar area superb, right on a fab beach which had a lovely breeze all the time we were there. Came for a ‘special holiday’ and we all felt like we had one. Thankyou to all the lovely staff!

A wonderful peaceful haven if you are looking for a laid back retreat the Salt is for you. We stayed in a bang on the beach room overlooking the beach and sea. The bed is so comfy and the room is serviced twice per day. All of the staff are AMAZING nothing is too much trouble. Med and his team work incredibly hard to cater for all your needs in the restaurant and all staff go that extra mile. Particular thanks to Sanjay, Vish, Vinesh, keep on smiling 😊!!
