The food, the place, the atmosphere, the people, the room, everything was amazing. We had a very nice time. One of the best hotels I ever went to in Mauritius. Sanjay and Vidusha from the restaurant helped us a lot with our food choices. The chef also came to meet us. The staff are very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Since we stayed for 2 days we found the menu a bit limited. We would recommend to have a day special something for more variety. Otherwise amazing place.

Stayed at Salt hotel for 6 nights (half board). Had a room “best on beach” with excellent panoramic view over the beach and reef. The room was in very good state and was cleaned / checked several times a day and prepared for night time. Excellent exclusive bed from Swedish Carpe Diem (Sando). Hotel have own selection of exclusive spa products in the room that is filled daily. The restaurant is very good and have a healthy mouth watering al a carte menu card. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel is rather small and it is easy to get to know the staff. The pool and beach is very nice. There is an opportunity to surf, sail, kayak, water bike, etc. for free. Staff at the beach during daytime to assist and ensure safety. Free snorkeling tours to en nearby reef. Also free finns and diviemasks. We really understand why this hotel is highly rated.

We were in the Salt of Palmar in January 2020 with our little baby boy for about 3 weeks (at this time the hotel was not an only adult hotel yet). We had a bang on the beach room directly on the beach and we can really say this was the best hotel experiences we ever had. And we travel a lot throughout the year through the whole world. We loved the furniture, the heavenly smelling shower products, the pool and the whole sustainability attitude. We never experienced any kitchen with regional, fresh products only with a zero waste attitude! There is no buffet where the products are sitting there for hours over hours like in so many other hotels- all the meals here are freshly made upon request. The rooftop bar was stunning and as I was pregnant with our second baby I was able to taste alcohol-free gin for the first time. Great recommendation from the bartender. A big thank you to the manager Mr. Reedoy - he was around very offen and had an open ear for everyone. We really regret though that we won‘t be able to visit again as the hotel is adult only now - but we are still happy that we were able to make this wonderful experience. Thank you ❤️

An hotel, full of colors and light, of sun and salty air. The kind of place that invites you to disconnect from any sources of stress and reconnect to yourself. The food... aahh! Healthy, yummy and local. Just incredible! The service was as well at the top of our expectation. We really invite you to experience this place!
